Abstract

Grass jelly is a traditional food items that have long been known to the public and used as a fill refreshment. Cincau disliked because distinctive taste, fresh and cold, and it's cheap., Black grass jelly beneficial to health, these properties are closely linked to the content of soluble fiber (soluble dietary fiber) contained therein. In the body, soluble fiber can bind sugar and fat / cholesterol, making it useful for preventing diabetes mellitus, heart disease, stroke, and other cardiovascular diseases.Black grass jelly contains a number of minerals and carbohydrates, vitamins A, B1, C, low in calories and has efficacy lowering body heat, the heat inside, preventing digestive disorders, high blood pressure and weight. Black grass jelly-making business actors in Desa Tugu Harum Belitang Madang subdistrict Kingdom East OKU District has been using the technique of making black grass jelly is good and right that start of boiling, filtering, heating, drilling and printing to marketing processes.Costs of production in one process of making black grass jelly in Desa Tugu Harum, District Belitang Madang Kingdom, East OKU district is Rp. 793,816.67 / production process. With a total production of 30 boxes and the selling price of Rp. 40,000 / box so as to obtain acceptance of Rp. 1.200.000 / production. While income earned in one process of making black grass jelly is Rp. 406,183.33.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is 1) to identify the economic and non economic problems (technical and managerial) which become the constraint of local coconut sugar producer with local wisdom in Kasegeran Village, Cilongok District, 2) To find the strategy of coconut sugar entrepreneurs development in Kasegeran Village, Cilongok DistrictThe research method is conducted by survey which take sample from population and use questioner as data collecting tool (Singarimbun, 2008). Research activities in the form of descriptive research quantitative and qualitative, that aims to find facts with interviewing techniques, observation and documentation . Research location in the Village District Kasegeran Cilongok Banyumas regulated purposively (Purposive Sampling) based on the potential of local resources and the existence of entrepreneur entrepreneurs processed palm into coconut sugar superior products. the sample of research was deliberately determined by 20 sugarcane craftsmen. The formulation of coconut sugar coconut development strategy was analyzed through SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats).Results shows that the strategy that needs to be applied in the form of Aggressive Strategy. From the SWOT matric can be known the strategy of coconut sugar entrepreneurs as follows : experience and entrepreneurial spirit of entrepreneur who owned and supported the potential of local resources as a force in realizing coconut sugar production goes continuously. Increased coconut production potential increase tends to increase especially the existence of partnership relationship between coconut business entrepreneur and business opportunity is still wide open and continuous development from government and related institution

Abstract

Di Desa Sipatuhu peternak lebah madu usahanya sejak tahun 2005. Beliau adalah M. Khodis, S.P (56 tahun), beliau memelihara lebah madu Apis mellifera L yang mampu berproduksi tinggi. Awal mula usaha lebah madu ini adalah karena menyadari bahwa lingkungan dan kondisi di Desa Sipatuhu dan sekitarnya sangat mendukung untuk ternak lebah madu seperti banyak terdapat tanaman kopi, durian, duku dan tanaman lain yang menjadi sumber pakan lebah madu.Tujuan untuk mengetahui berapa besar pendapatan, kontribusidan kelayakan usaha lebah madu di Desa Sipatuhu. Proses perkembangan lebah adalah, telur yang dihasilkan dari lebah ratu akan menetas`dalam waktu tiga hari menjadi larva, larva-larva tersebut terletak pad sel (sarang lebah) dan mendapatkan makanan berupa tepung sari selama 2 hari. Enam hari kemudian sel akan ditutup sehingga larva mengalami proses pengeraman selama 12 hari. Larva yang telah berubah menjadi lebah muda akan keluar dengan cara menggigiti tutup sel sedikit demi sedikit.Rata –rata biaya produksi usaha lebah madu Apis mellifera selama satu tahun adalah Rp 2.144.757, penerimaan Rp 8.531.250/tahun dan pendapatan Rp 6.386.493/tahunNilai kontribusi usaha lebah madu terhadap pendapatan keluarga adalah kecil dengan nilai 4,8%. Nilai kelayakan usaha lebah madu Apis mellifera NPV Rp 47.224.232, IRR 130,81% dan Net B/C 6,94.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the characteristics of (Brown Sugar) producers, the processing of water coconut sap until it is certified with Control Union, and the developmental strategies of brown sugar entrepreneurship in Wadaslintang Sub-district of Wonosobo. The data were collected through observation, interview, documentation and were analysed using qualitative descriptive technique. A qualitative approach was used to determine the characteristics of brown sugar producers in Wadaslintang Sub-district and to analyse the entrepreneurial condition of brown sugar farmers/producers. Developmental patterns of brown sugar entrepreneurship was analysed through SWOT technique (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). The research result indicated that: first, the characteristics of brown sugar producers in Wadaslintang Sub-district (including age, education level, and duration of running brown sugar entrepreneurship) belong to adequate category for developing brown sugar entrepreneurship. Second, brown sugar in Wadaslintang Sub-district is still processed traditionally. However, the production can get into the export market. Third, the developmental strategies of brown sugar entrepreneurship include expanding the target, maintaining and improving the quality of gula semut production, improving promotion to people and maintaining the good relation with the customers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas fungi Trichoderma harzianum dalam mengendalikan Fusarium oxysporum penyebab busuk pangkal batang pada tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annum L.). Percobaan pertama adalah pengujian daya hambat T. harzianum terhadap patogen secara in vitro. Percobaan selanjutnya di rumah kaca dengan perlakuan disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), terdiri atas: tanpa inokulasi, inokulasi patogen, inokulasi Trichoderma, inokulasi Trichoderma dan patogen bersamaan, inokulasi Trichoderma diikuti patogen dengan jeda waktu 6 jam, inokulasi patogen kemudian Trichoderma. dengan jeda waktu 6 jam. Variabel yang diamati adalah luas luka batang tanaman dan intensitas seragan penyakit. Data percobaan in vivo dianalisis dengan sidik ragam yang dilanjutkan dengan uji BNJ taraf nyata 5%. Daya hambat T. harzianum terhadap patogen mencapai 71,3 % pada 144 jam setelah inokulasi secara in vitro. Secara in vivo inokulasi Trichoderma saja dan bersamaan dengan patogen menekan luka hingga 81,0% dan 68,0% dibandingkan dengan dinokulasi patogen serta menghambat serangan penyakit yang ditunjukkan dengan intensitas gejala 5,6 % dan 0,0 pada 6 dan 12 hari setelah inokulasi. T. harzianum efektif sebagai agen biokontrol bagi pengendalian penyakit busuk pangkal batang tanaman cabe merah yang disebabkan oleh F. oxysporum.

Abstract

Konversi lahan pertanian merupakan ancaman yang serius terhadap ketahananpangan nasional karena dampaknya bersifat permanen. Lahan pertanian yangtelah dikonversi ke penggunaan lain di luar pertanian sangat kecil peluangnyauntuk berubah kembali menjadi lahan pertanian. Untuk mengestimasi faktorfaktoryang mempengaruhi petani dalam mengalihfungsikan lahan sawahdigunakan analisis regresi logistik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yangmempengaruhi keputusan petani untuk melakukan alih fungsi lahan dipengaruhioleh tingkat umur dan produktivitas lahan. Luas lahan yang mengalami alihfungsi lahan paling banyak adalah dibawah 0,5 hektar dan penggunaan hasil darialih fungsi lahan adalah untuk bangun rumah, ditabung, membeli rumah, modalbengkel, biaya sekolah anak, buat kosan, membeli sawah kembali danmemperbaiki rumah.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the supply chain of IR64 Rice Variety, to analyze the supply chain management of IR64 Rice Variety, and to analyze the value chain of the rice variety in Wanareja Sub-District of Cilacap Regency. The research method used was survey with non-random Purposive Sampling technique. The number of respondents were 15 farmers, 5 retailers, 5 merchant collectors and 5 wholesalers of IR64 rice variety. The research was conducted for six months, starting from July 2017 until January 2018.The results showed that the commerce agents of IR64 rice variety trading in Wanareja sub-district were farmers, merchant collectors, wholesalers and retailers. The chamber of commerce is divided into three types: the first channels, the second channels and the third channels. The function of supply chain of IR64 rice variety included role of the trading agents like IR64 rice variety farmers who run a role as merchantmen in the process of producing and selling IR64 rice variety. Meanwhile merchant collectors, wholesalers and retailers run their roles in storaging, purchasing and selling the rice variety. The farmer's marketing efficiency was 18% and the added value was IDR 10.486.100, for one harvest season. While the merchant collector's marketing efficiency was 95.56%, marketing margin was IDR 24 per kg of rice and distribution of marketing margin was 97.42%. The wholesalers' marketing efficiency was 94.54%, marketing margin was IDR 120, - per kg of rice and distribution of marketing margin is 98.70%. The retailer's marketing efficiency is 94.92%, marketing margin IDR 420, - per kg of rice and 95.78% marketing margin distribution. The value added of merchant collectors, wholesalers and retailers were IDR 1.402.000, -; IDR 4.840.400, - and IDR 938.000, -. The analysis of value chain of IR64 rice variety in Wanareja Sub-district of Cilacap Regency showed that value of marketing efficiency, marketing margin, marketing distribution and value added obtained by farmers, merchant collectors, wholesalers and retailers were efficient and profitable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to know the process of producing brown sugar made by craftsmen in the village of Kubangkangkung, Kawunganten district, Cilacap City, (2) to find out the social-economic factors that affect the production process and the marketing process of brown sugar in the village of Kubangkangkung, Kawunganten district, Cilacap City, (3) to fint out the problems and solutions faced by farmers during the process of producing and marketing brown sugar in the village of Kubangkangkung, Kawunganten district, Cilacap City, (4) to analyze the marketing process of brown sugar in the village of Kubangkangkung, Kawunganten district, Cilacap City. This research uses primary and secondary analysis. Research method used by researcher is using survey method with respondent 35. In marketing channel there are 3 marketing channel so that will know difference of price, profit, and channel effective for brown sugar artisans.
