Abstract

An accurate forecasting model for a time series data is still difficult to obtain if the data is complex. This study aims to analyze and make the model of import export data forecasting with the combined method ARIMA - Neural Networks. This method is expected to improve NN's ability to complex problems and improve forecasting accuracy. The forecasting model obtained is used to predict the value of import-export in the next period. From the available data, ARIMA forecasting model for export value is ARIMA (1,1,12) with error 0,968 and forecasting model of NN with sigmoid bipolar gives error 0,180732 while NN model with semilinier gives error 0,081521 . For import value, obtained ARIMA (0, 1, 0) model with error 0,971 and forecasting model of NN with sigmoid bipolar gives error 1,437723 while model of NN with semilinier gives error 0,957831. Based on these results, a combined forecasting model of ARIMA and Neural Network with a semilinier activation function will be performed because it has a smaller error value compared to the sigmoid bipolar activation function. The ARIMA- NNforecasting model with the semilinier activation function yield error 0.046010 for the export value data and 1.081964 for the import value data.

Abstract

Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers that cause many death cases in the world. Cigarette smoke or secondhand smoke is one of the most important risk factors in the development of lung cancer.  In this study, a Mathematical model for lung cancer represented by a non-linear system of differential equation is used to model the dynamics of a population which includes smokers. The basic reproduction number ( ) from the model will be determined and then by looking at this , we can analyze the sensitivity of the system by observing the parameters that can significantly change the value of . Numerical simulation using realistic data toward the model’s parameters will be provided to illustrate the dynamics of this population. The result of this study is a Mathematical model which can explain the dynamics of development of lung cancer in a population as a consequence of the existence of smokers and secondhand smoke in that population and the relevant efforts as prevention.

Abstract

Education is one service industry that provides services to students in need. One of Institute from Cikarang, Bekasi, west Javaorganized and developed the science, technology, and as a scientific community that is full ofsublime imagery and educate the nation's life. The real conditions encountered by Institute is currently at in providing services to students especially on teaching staff (lecturers) as well asacademic staff not yet optimal. An increase in the quality of service can be implemented using approach servqual. Servqual is a method for measuring the quality of service from a service provider. Quality of service is measured from each dimension (tangible, responsiveness, reliability, assurance, Empathize). For the result we know 5 element spread on 4 quadrant. Quadrant 1 are spread 6 things, Quadrant II are spread 11 thing, Quadrant III are spread 9 things and last Quadrant IV are spread 4 things. We investigate cause that need  problem solving on Institute by Root Cause Analyze (RCA.)Based on the results of calculation and pay attention to the real conditions, interviews with students,obtained significant complaints with the research. In this case the Institute should improvethe quality of service, both in terms of performance of teaching staff, and the number of teaching staff for teachingand learning process can be going well, so does the relationship of administration and facility staff and othersupporting improved.

Abstract

Microsoft Access is a reliable database application and part of Microsoft Office application installation so that easy to be used in shorting the human resources of Politeknik LP3I Jakarta Kampus Depok. Currently, Management Information System of Human Resource on this campus, having an online system. However, the data information is less complete so that researcher try to make a cheap system by using "One Drive" as Cloud Computing service in order to be able to accessed by other users at the same time. Rapid Application Development method is used by the researcher in making the system to minimize the developing time. Research study shown that Microsoft Access used with the Cloud Computing One Drive service is proven easier and faster in shorting the employee at Politeknik LP3I Jakarta Kampus Depok. This application should be maintained and backed up regularly to preserve the data from damage

Abstract

The process of learning in the educational unit organized an interactive, aspirational, fun, challenging, motivating the students to actively participate and provide enough space to for innovation, creativity, and independence according talents, interests, and physical development, as well as psychological protégé. " making educators are increasingly challenged to manage the class, with the help of props teaching approach (approach to teaching) that is shared is used along with a lot of specific methods and with different teaching media that accompanied the arrangement of the classroom and the seating of students such that the learning process becomes active , innovative, creative, effective, and fun. Thus, the students were interested and easily absorb the knowledge and skills that are taught. The development of information and communication technology currently allows PAIKEM fat BER JAS term suits means-based social networking (Internet). At the present time has been so much infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology which none.And community (including students) are already familiar with the technology and knowledge needed extra to use the technology. With the help of social networks based tutorial educators make it easier to demonstrate directly to students.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, information and computer technology has a decisive role in a business competition. PT. Bangsawan Cyberindo is a company engaged in the sale of goods and services of information technology. Currently, the sales information system used has not maximized the use of the computer yet that there are still many activities using manual recording system. This manual recording makes sales staff have difficulty in recording the goods selling data because the data acquired are less accurate, slow and incomplete, leading to delays in reporting goods selling data. Besides, the accounting process has not been well conducted, so that important reports describing financial statements are not available yet. Therefore, through this paper, the author proposes the utilization of design of sales information system covering sales activities in PT.Bangsawan Cyberindo. This information system makes the data recording easier and supports the smooth running of sales information system. Then, the system also eases the report printing process based on the expected periods so that the information can be easily, quickly and accurately found and the errors can be minimized. The system is designed adopting object-oriented methodology and is implemented using programming language Visual Studio 2005 and MS Access as its database.

Abstract

Transportation of education through the use of technology can support educators’ task and stimulate interest in learning among students. This research is conducted to find out the factors that influence whether Interactive Learning to Read Software for Early Childhood is well received by its users or not and to determine the causal relationship among the factors that affecting the acceptance of such software. The model used to determine the acceptance of the software Learn How to Read for Early Childhood is TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). TAM explains in detail the model of information technology acceptance with a certain dimension that can affect technology acceptance by users. This model puts factors of attitude and behavior of each user by using two main variables, namely expediency (usefulness) and ease of use (easy to use). The model of acceptance of Learning to Read Software for Early Childhood software is also influenced by other factors such as: Computer Self Efficacy (CSE), Perception of Ease of Use (PEOU), Perception of Usefulness (PU), Attitude toward Using (ATU), Behavioral Intention To Use (BITU), and Actual System Use (ASU). Statistical test is performed using Structural Equations Modeling (SEM), which are processed by applying software AMOS version 7.0. The result of the research shows that the reading software is well accepted by kindergarten children.

Abstract

Di Indonesia, nasi merupakan hidangan utama dalam penyajian makanan, sehingga dengan bertambahnya populasi tentunya kebutuhan beraspun semakin meningkat. Untuk dapat menyeimbangkan persediaan dan permintaan beras di Indonesia, pemerintah menunjuk Perum Bulog sebagai pengelola persediaan beras, salah satunya berada di Jawa Barat sebagai salah satu produsen beras di Indonesia. Beberapa bulan di tahun 2011 sampai 2015 Perum Bulog Divisi Regional Jawa Barat mengalami kekurangan persediaan beras sehingga dibutuhkan pengadaan beras menggunakan national movement, dimana beras dipindahkan dari regional lain. Instabilitas persediaan beras ini terjadi karena beberapa faktor, terutama adalah faktor iklik. Ini alasan mengapa diperlukan pengelolaan persediaan beras, untuk mendapatkan jumlah persediaan beras yang spesifik tiap bulannya. Alasan inilah yang melatarbelakangi penelitian mengenai analisis perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan di Perum Bulog Divisi Regional Jawa Barat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dengan pendekatan menggunakan Period Order Quantity (POQ) dan hasil yang didapatkan yaitu pada tahun 2016 Perum Bulog harus memesan beras sebanyak 596.677.538,92 KG dengan frekuensi pemesanan sebanyak 71 kali, pemesanan setiap lima hari untuk bulan Januari dan enam hari untuk bulan Februari sampai Desember. Safety stock yang harus dimiliki Perum Bulog sebesar 79.434.675,36 sampai 173.200.441,02 KG, dengan batas bawah sebesar 84.145.772,96 KG dan batas atas sebesar 180.156.952,97 KG. Biaya pengadaan beras sebesar dengan Rp. 4.659.583.712.750,62, dengan anggaran sebesar Rp. 4.681.702.174.406,47, maka penghematannya adalah sebesar Rp. 22.118.461.655,86.

Abstract

The ability of companies to manage the existing knowledge is a foundation necessary to survive. This also applies to food and beverages companies in Indonesia. Knowledge Management (KM) is an effort to improve the knowledge useful for the company. KM is not just an arrangement of knowledge, but also the management of a company with a special focus on knowledge. Difficulties in searching a recent quality document sometimes hamper the performance of employees, create an uneven distribution of documents for each division and an unavailable presentation of online information on list of quality documents that can accommodate the knowledge sharing activities among employees. The result of the research is the availability of a medium, in this case, the one that can accommodate the company's quality documents, registration documents and forums for discussion.

Abstract

Information technology (IT) development in a company is often not based on good design on future development scenarios, technology development requirements, and information system. Information technology that has been built also inefficient according to company's vission and mission. Enterprise Architecture was built as a corporate master plan that became a reference or guidance in information technology development. Enterprise Architecture is an information technology company coming from the provision of needs and information embodied in form of application systems and provision of technology infrastructure. Architectural overview provides important values for company where management can develop more effective strategies in monitoring business processes and technological infrastructure. TOGAF provides detailed-methods of how to build, manage, and implement enterprise architecture and information systems called Architecture Development Method. This method contains some activities used in modeling the development of company's architecture. It is also a guide for planing, designing, developing, and implementing information systems architecture for organizations. The result of this design is an information technology architecture that becomes the guide for management in determining the budget of IT needs based on priority scale to support the efficiency of the company.
