Abstract

Heart disease is one of dangerous diseases. The late treatment for the disease will endanger the life of the sufferers. This problem is caused by the difficulty of early detection in patients with heart disease because they always ignore the initial symptoms. In addition, the costs involved in examining heart disease are not cheap because it requires examinations carried out by specialists and laboratory tests. The prediction system is one of options that can be used to perform early detection of heart disease patients at a lower cost, with the costs used in examinations by specialist doctors and laboratory tests can be eliminated and replaced by a prediction system. This study aims to create a prediction system using the C4.5 algorithm by which the predictions based on historical data of the patient to be examined are made. The results obtained from using the C4.5 algorithm to make predictions show an accuracy of 79%, meaning that the results can be expected to be a source of information for further research on prediction systems using the C4.5 algorithm.

Abstract

The current remote sensing technology has produced various advantages, one of which is land cover classification. This technique is effective in land cover monitoring because of its ability to provide spatial information on the surface of the earth quickly, broadly, precisely and easily. The vegetation index obtained based on remote sensing is a fairly simple and effective method for quantitative and qualitative evaluation of cover, strength, and vegetation growth dynamics. The vegetation index using reflections from vegetation that is commonly used to evaluate vegetation quality is the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI). Land cover classification analysis is performed with NDVI and random forest algorithms. The random forest algorithm is one of the supervised machine learning algorithms which can be used in classifying pixels in land cover classification classes. This research is aimed at classifying land cover of Sentinel-2 satellite images using NDVI and random forest algorithms. The result of this research is that the NDVI value -0.3 – 0.91 and the random forest algorithm accuracy is 91.39%, and Kappa 0.88. In conclusion, it can be said that random forest algorithms is effective to perform land cover classification by using Sentinel-2 satellite images

Abstract

Product inventory in retail companies is crucial because a product is a major component in the business and is a thing that is traded to meet the needs of consumers. In business, entrepreneurs certainly expect optimal profits that can be achieved by increasing the value of product sales. As a supporting factor in the success of a business, stock of products must always be available to meet the needs of consumers. The problems that often occur in retail companies are a product stock shortage and product stock buildup that can result in the damage of products because of being kept in the warehouse for a long time and can hinder the capital mobility. A product stock prediction system is needed to reduce the problems and can predict the amount of product stock in the future so that product availability can be controlled and the company can achieve the expected goals. This paper aims to provide a web-based product stock prediction system with a Single Exponential Smoothing and Moving Average method to determine the amount of product stock that must be available in the future. The comparison results of the two methods implemented in the prediction system show the Single Exponential Smoothing method with an alpha value of 0.5, superior to the Moving Average method with the results of the prediction error accuracy value in the Aqua 19 L product, namely MAD = -0.50, MSE = 3.02 and MAPE =11.38.

Abstract

Down syndrome is the most easily identified and most common genetic disorder. Down syndrome variation of trisomy 21 has characteristics that are common to people with Down syndrome. But, children with this Down syndrome variation have slight differences in the mouth and appearance because they tend to have similar oral features with their parents and siblings so that distinguishing them is quite complex. Therefore, it is important to know in more details the special characteristics of children with Down syndrome. This study aims to create an innovative image processing-based system so that it is more practical to classify people with down syndrome and normal people. The method that can be used is the Local Binary Pattern (LBP) method. This study used 2400 mouth frames of children with Down syndrome and normal children for data training. Then, it also uses 3600 mouth frames for children with Down syndrome and normal children for testing data. The results obtained are the threshold value which gives a good classification of 0.1-0.2 for the three variations of the distance calculation method. The Euclidean and Chebychev methods have an accuracy quality of 100% while the City block method at the threshold of 0.1-0.2 has an accuracy of 91.6. So, it can be said that the most accurate method in this research is the Chebychev, Euclidean, then City Block method.

Abstract

Human carelessness can be one of the main factors in accidents. Knowing this situation, the insurance company takes the role as well as the opportunity from the consumers, to be the one who will bear the loss known as risk. The problem that often arises in insurance companies is the number of customers who are in arrears in paying premiums. In the procedures applicable to insurance, there is a grace period for payment of 30 days during which the customer/insured must pay a predetermined amount of premium and if the customer/insured does not pay the premium, the insurance policy will be canceled so that the insurance profit will be reduced and if it happens, it will be detrimental to the insurance. This research is conducted by applying the Naive Bayes algorithm using insurance customer data. The result of this study is a classification system for late payment of insurance premiums that can classify the status of premium payments for insurance customers. The system test results show that the system can classify the premium payment status of insurance customers with an accuracy rate of 82.5%, then the resulting precision level is 94.83% and the resulting recall is 86.39%.

Abstract

Information Technology (IT) Governance has an important role in managing and optimizing IT resources to support the achievement of the organization's vision and mission. In the higher education, the use of IT is needed to create and improve the quality of educational services. However, IT investments often made by many universities and colleges do not provide maximum benefits for the continuity of existing education services. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an assessment of IT Governance at various universities and colleges in order to find out the level of capabilities and gaps that generally occurs. This research is a literature study that has the aim of analyzing IT Governance at various universities and colleges with reference to COBIT 2019.The research is conducted using Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to answer Research Questions (RQ), namely RQ1 about the type of publication journal and article publication year, RQ2 about the domain of focus for higher education institutions, RQ3 about the capability levels and recommendations on gaps occurring in higher education institutions. The results of this study find as many as 8 articles consisting of 7 national and international journal articles as well as 1 proceeding article based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria set with a range of publication years from 2020 to 2022. Process areas APO04, APO09, APO12, BIA01, DSS05, MEA01 , MEA02, and MEA03 become the focus of attention for higher education institutions in the implementation of IT Governance. The current level of IT Governance capability at higher education institutions has not reached the capability target with recommendations for improvement in the form of fulfilling activities that have not been implemented at each capability level

Abstract

BJB Syariah has several work units, including branch heads, operational managers, back offices, tellers, customer service and marketing. In recording the submission of financing customers, BJB Syariah still performs the documentation using paper media so that the knowledge obtained is still difficult to process. It makes the customer data lost or not neatly arranged, leading to a relatively long period of searching the data. Therefore, it is necessary to have a system that can provide convenience in recording customer submissions in the form of a Knowledge Management System. The system is expected to produce information that is related to customers and can be documented as evidence of data storage in real time. The system development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD) starting from the Requirement Planning stage to the Workshop Design stage. The design tool used is the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The system is made using software Preprocessor Home Page (PHP) as a programming language and MySQL as database management. The designing of this web-based knowledge management system produces reports containing customer data and reports on financing submission on a regular basis.

Abstract

PID controllers are widely used to improve system response , as they offer clear, simple functionality and ease of deployment and use. One of the important roles of the PID controller can be seen in its application to control and stabilize the angular velocity in the reference value of a direct current (DC) motor. The purpose of this task is to implement a PID controller as a DC motor speed controller so that it can understand the characteristics of each PID controller parameter on the system response curve. The test results show that each PID value parameter (Proportional, Integral, Derivative) has different characteristics to the system response. For example, adding the Kp parameter can reduce the steady-state error, reduce the rise time, but can increase the overshot value. Meanwhile, adding the Ki parameter can affect the increase in overshot, reduce the rise time, and reduce or even almost eliminate the steady state error value. Then, adding the Kd parameter can reduce the overshot, reduce the rise time, and increase the undershot

Abstract

In this digitalization era, technology is growing rapidly over time. Technological advances have an impact on increasing effectiveness and efficiency in carrying out every job. Toko Lancar Elektrik as one of the stores on Jl. Kertabumi No.8 Karawang Kulon, offers or sells various electrical goods whose number of items increases annually. The problem that exists in Toko Lancar Elektrik is that the collection of the data of item sales and of the stock of goods is still conducted manually using notebooks. The purpose of this study is to use of database technology in selling goods so that the data can be stored quickly and easily and errors in data collection can be minimized. The results of the database design using the DBLC (DataBase Life Cycle) method with research aspects covering Database planning, System definition, Requirements collection and analysis, Database design, to implementation. The database design can have 4 types of entities, namely conceptual, logical, and physical in the form of information on goods, suppliers, orders, and sales. With this database design, it is expected that the goods recording can be more structured and easily to do.

Abstract

Local Area Network (LAN) is a type of computer network that covers a local area and is widely used in various aspects.In places that provide LAN connections there are those using Wi-Fi technology which are usually called hotspots. Damage to the LAN, especially Wi-fi itself, is often experienced by the community.It is also inconvenient for internet network users due to lack of knowledge about the damage. Therefore, it is necessary to create a system that can be used to collect knowledge data from network experts and store it. The result of this research is an expert system that diagnoses LAN network damage. The system automatically provides diagnostic results by displaying the type of glitch and its solution based on the symptoms of the glitches experienced. The conclusion of this study is that an expert system by using the Dempster Shafer method to handle data uncertainty when diagnosing LAN service disruptions is very helpful in overcoming the problem of declining service quality.
