Abstract

The three-phase induction motor is the most widely used drive in the industry due to its sturdy construction and relatively affordable price. However, there is a disadvantage that it is difficult to control torque and speed dynamically and separately. The torque and speed characteristics of the three-phase induction motor are a couple and are nonlinear. So it is difficult to be able to control torque and speed separately. To overcome these problems, there is a decoupling control method that will separate the control between torque and speed using DTC (Direct Torque Control) by setting the value of the stator flux as a sector selector switching. DCT is a form of vector control. The least square estimation method is used for speed forecasting on induction motors through measurement data of stator flux and rotor flux which are regressed into non-linear form to monitor motor speed. Based on tests using simulations, the results show that when an induction motor is given a torque load, the torque response changes (tracking) the torque response of the induction motor can follow these changes. Where the characteristic value of the response transient, time constant (?) is 0.082 seconds, the rise time (TR) is 0.242 seconds and the settling time (TS) is 0.246 seconds.

Abstract

Village digitization is an important part of efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services provided in the village. The purpose of this research is to create an application that is in accordance with the characteristics of the village in order to bring order to the archives and databases in the village. As an effort to improve existing services in the village to help the community and provide community satisfaction with services in the village. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, by implementing the system development life cycle system in stages (System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The main stage consists of Systems Planning, Systems Analysis, System Design, System Selection, Systems Implementation and Systems Maintenance. The data are collected from observation, interviews, and literature studies. The result of this study is My Village application that is used in the administration of the mail service database in the village.

Abstract

The rise in population has resulted in increased development in big cities. It causes disturbance and insecurity from various aspects, including fire, crime and electricity problems which usually occur in densely populated houses in big cities. This study aims to design a home security system from these three aspects. The methods used in designing this Arduino UNO-based system are performing a simulation design on the Proteus Software to design and simulate the circuit and making a prototype design on the hardware implementation, the test results of which are then analyzed. This series of home security systems use MQ-2 and DS18B20 sensors as fire detectors, HC-SR501 as a motion detector for crime indications and a current sensor as an overcurrent detector with buzzer, led and relay outputs. The test results of the two designs show that the system can run smoothly and function according to the input given and the design can be implemented using hardware and be developed sustainably.

Abstract

The Faculty of Medicine and Health, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta, still manually manages inventory, especially the consumables, using paper media such as in processing incoming and outgoing goods and in reporting the goods that are recorded and stored on spreadsheet tools. making it difficult to manage data. The purpose of this study is to design and build an inventory information system to facilitate the effective inventory data management process. The system development method uses Rapid Application Development (RAD). Tools in system design use UML, while system programming uses PHP and mysql database and system testing uses blackbox method. The results of this study produce an inventory of goods information system by providing convenience in managing inventory data, making the finding of goods inventory easier or faster because the system can show the goods data section, making the inventory can be accurately and easily controlled.

Abstract

Investment is an activity to invest assets in certain people or institutions in order to get profits for a certain period of time. Investment can not only be made for the short term, but also be used as saving for the future use. Investment has now become a trend since the pandemic started. Many people jump into this activity with the hope of getting very promising profits. Both teenagers and adults have tried to plunge into the investment activity. However, some people still don't understand how to invest properly, so that they must take is quite high risks that create a negative impact on the profits. During the current pandemic, it is worsened by the inflation on the value of the Composite Stock Price Index that can fluctuate along with various things. This study aims to review how the public responds in making investments during the current pandemic. The research uses the Support Vector Machine and K-Nearest Neighbors methods. Seeing the use of the Support Vector Machine and K-Nearest Neighbors methods, it can be concluded that SVM is better than KNN, with the SVM accuracy value of 96.84% and that of KNN of 95.74% with a accuracy difference of 1.10% between the two methods.

Abstract

A motorcycle is a two-wheeled vehicle that is driven by an engine. With a motorcycle, it will be faster and easier to reach our destination. This makes motorcycle users on the road more visible than other vehicles. As a result of a large number of motorcycle vehicles, the crime of motorcycle theft has increased. The main factor underlying the theft of motorcycles is economic factors. Therefore, an IoT-based motorcycle security system was created with the Telegram application. Where the security system uses the Quectel L80 GPS, and fingerprint and can also control the motorbike with the telegram application. The results of testing the command on the motorcycle security system using the telegram application obtained a stable delay time in each experiment. Where the average value of delay in testing the Engine ON and Engine OFF commands is 5.01. While the average value of delay in the fingerprint ADD test is 4.4 seconds and the average delay value in the fingerprint Delete test is 2.3 seconds. In the Quality of Service assessment from the test results using Wireshark, it can be seen that the average results on the network are good because they meet the standardization requirements with an index value of 3.3. Where the average delay value is 170,168865 ms, the average throughput value is 17573,68780-kilo bytes/17k, and the packet loss value is 0%..

Abstract

The research describes the effect of weights on the calibration results of an analytical balance. This study aims to obtain the uncertainty value of the analytical balance test results by comparison with the standard E2 class weights. The study results can be used to determine the feasibility of the measuring instrument tested through the analysis of the performance value of the scales based on the Limit of Performance (LOP) parameter. The method used is a direct comparison method with E2 class weights. The calibration process carried out in this method includes the measurement of repeatability of readings, deviations from the nominal value indication, the effect of loading not at the centre of the pan, and hysteresis. The data analysis includes standard deviation values, minimum correction values, hysteresis, uncertainty, and LOP. The calibration results show that the reading power of the standard deviation of the load at ½ maximum capacity and full maximum capacity is 0.0042 grams. Deviations at measuring points 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180, and 200 grams have a maximum correction value of 0.04995 grams with a maximum measurement uncertainty of 0.006378585 grams and a value of k=2.0 at 95% confidence level. In the performance table of the scales based on the LOP value, it is known that the performance of the scales is in the poor category, and it is more advisable to repair the tool.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the performance of Puskesmas X Kabupaten Bekasi is measured using a balanced scorecard approach. Balanced scorecard is a comprehensive performance measurement technique by measuring organizational performance based on financial aspects and non-financial aspects using 4 perspectives, finance, customer, internal business processes, learning and growth. The research method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach from observations, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the financial perspective, namely the economic ratio and efficiency ratio were categorized as good, while the effectiveness ratio was categorized as not good. From the customer's perspective, it shows a good level of patient satisfaction, the ability to retain old patients is good while acquiring new patients is considered not good. From the perspective of internal business processes as measured by aspects of equipment, infrastructure, and processes, it shows good performance. The growth and learning perspective of employee satisfaction and employee productivity shows good performance results. Thus, overall viewed from the four perspectives of the balanced scorecard, the performance of the Puskesmas has achieved good results.

Abstract

Motorcycles are commonly and widely used vehicles in Indonesia. This vehicle is highly popular because of several advantages they have. Some advantages motorcycles have, among others, easeness of operation and a slim shape that makes them easier to park. But at the same time, it increases interest in committing crimes of motorcycle theft. Worse, the standard security system which is factory default is easier to break into. In this research, a tool is designed to resolve the problem by making double protection on a motorcycle using a fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor acts as double protection in the motorcycle starting process. The fingerprint sensor is a component widely used these days because of its accuracy. The result of the fingerprint registration test shows the average value of fingerprint registration delay is 7.46 seconds and 8.18 seconds for the two objects. The results of testing the alarm system if the readings do not match 3 times will be locked for one minute. After being locked for one minute, the system will reset again from the beginning. From the results of the fingerprint test as a starter, it is found that 20 trials are able to read fingerprints well with the status of registered and unregistered fingerprints. Then it can be concluded that the accuracy of the fingerprint sensor is 100% accurate. The last test of the four different hand conditions shows almost the same delay value, with the dry hand fingerprint response faster than the others.

Abstract

The most common problem in business and industry today is the optimal allocation of production resources, i.e. providing different levels of productivity in different tasks. The challenge of CV Bintang Jaya is how to optimize working hours according to the working hours of its employees. The purpose of this study is to determine the working time of employees in accordance with the work. The research method used is hungarian using the POM-QM application for Windows. Data are collected through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. From this study, the best results are obtained based on the work. Employee 1 takes 17 minutes to perform the wood cutting operation, employee 2 takes 35 minutes to make a pattern, employee 3 takes 10 minutes to perform the smoothing operation, and employee 4 takes 10 minutes to perform the assembly operation.
