Abstract

Temperature Laboratory and Volume Laboratory of Metrology Department located on basement need artificial lighting that meets applicable lighting standard. The purpose of this research is to assess the illuminating base on SNI standard using measurement, data analysis, and Calculux software simulation to get the solution of the fulfilment of SNI standard. Based on the measurement, it showed that the illuminating of temperature laboratory was 338 lux and volume laboratory was 134 lux. The solution to SNI compliance was to using Calculux software simulation and the result obtained by changing the position of the lamps and the wall reflectance rate so that a laboratory lighting recommendation value of 500 lux is reached.

Abstract

Di Indonesia, nasi merupakan hidangan utama dalam penyajian makanan, sehingga dengan bertambahnya populasi tentunya kebutuhan beraspun semakin meningkat. Untuk dapat menyeimbangkan persediaan dan permintaan beras di Indonesia, pemerintah menunjuk Perum Bulog sebagai pengelola persediaan beras, salah satunya berada di Jawa Barat sebagai salah satu produsen beras di Indonesia. Beberapa bulan di tahun 2011 sampai 2015 Perum Bulog Divisi Regional Jawa Barat mengalami kekurangan persediaan beras sehingga dibutuhkan pengadaan beras menggunakan national movement, dimana beras dipindahkan dari regional lain. Instabilitas persediaan beras ini terjadi karena beberapa faktor, terutama adalah faktor iklik. Ini alasan mengapa diperlukan pengelolaan persediaan beras, untuk mendapatkan jumlah persediaan beras yang spesifik tiap bulannya. Alasan inilah yang melatarbelakangi penelitian mengenai analisis perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan di Perum Bulog Divisi Regional Jawa Barat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dengan pendekatan menggunakan Period Order Quantity (POQ) dan hasil yang didapatkan yaitu pada tahun 2016 Perum Bulog harus memesan beras sebanyak 596.677.538,92 KG dengan frekuensi pemesanan sebanyak 71 kali, pemesanan setiap lima hari untuk bulan Januari dan enam hari untuk bulan Februari sampai Desember. Safety stock yang harus dimiliki Perum Bulog sebesar 79.434.675,36 sampai 173.200.441,02 KG, dengan batas bawah sebesar 84.145.772,96 KG dan batas atas sebesar 180.156.952,97 KG. Biaya pengadaan beras sebesar dengan Rp. 4.659.583.712.750,62, dengan anggaran sebesar Rp. 4.681.702.174.406,47, maka penghematannya adalah sebesar Rp. 22.118.461.655,86.

Abstract

Both in educational organizations and other organizations, the library is one of the most important support facilities where this facility as a container or place to find information in any format that is collected into one and managed well by an organization to facilitate the information seekers to get it. With a large and diverse collection of library materials makes it difficult for officers to answer the availability of library questions and when library material will be available again. This research aims to simplify the search for library material information, simplify the process of lending library materials, provide library material availability information more quickly and effectively, providing integrated library information notification feature with sms and email reminder. Methods of data collection conducted with literature study, interviews, observation and questionnaires. System development method used is waterfall method. System quality test using four characteristics of ISO 9126 software quality that is, functionality, reliability, usability and efficiency. The results obtained are integrated library information system with SMS notification and email reminder as library information by using computer as a tool for library service optimization, so it can more quickly fulfill the borrower's need for reading material and simplify the work of library staff.

Abstract

The energy crisis is one of the problems facing by Indonesia. One solution to overcome this problem is turning waste into electricity, leading to a solution to the long-standing waste problems in many areas in Indonesia. This research is part of the initial design of PLTU with Biomassa (Waste) energy sources. This research covers the initial design of the rankine cycle that includes determining the type of turbine to be used, whether the reaction turbine or impulse turbine and the number of turbine shaft and determining a simple, regenerative cycle or another modified cycle. The step taken is comparing thermodinamically the advantages and disadvantages of the simple rankine cycle with the regenerative cycle. The parameters used as the standard of comparison are thermal efficiency, net work and work ratio. From the calculation results, it is determined to use a steam turbine with the type of one-shaft impulse turbine using a regenerative cycle with 3 feedwater heaters because it can increase efficiency up to 50% when compared to a simple regenerative cycle with efficiency of 37%.

Abstract

Agave plants are ornamental plants that generally grow wild in the yard or empty land. Apart from being an ornamental plant, agave plants have many uses and benefits. The use of agave plants is located on the plant fibers. One of the benefits of agave fiber is the material used to make a composite material for applications in the medical or industrial fields. The purpose of this study was to determine the fiber characteristics of agave plants including the crystallinity and regularity of agave fibers by testing using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy. Characterization with FTIR can be obtained information of C-O stretching cellulose 1 and sesulose 2 groups, C-H aromatic groups, C = C stretching aromatic ring (G) groups, C = C stretching aromatic ring (S) groups and OH groups from Agave fibers. Agave fibers are made in two different types of samples. The first sample is pure fiber without treatment called (UT) and the second sample, namely fiber with soaking sodium hydroxide (NaOH) is called treatment fiber (T). The results obtained show that T fibers have a degree of crystallinity and strength based on higher OH groups compared to UT fibers.

Abstract

This journal aims to determine the quality and nature of the weldability of boiler pipes are still good and after use for 10 years. As a reference temporary repairs to a pipe leaking boiler. Steps to be done is to compare the test results of mechanical properties and microstructure of both types of the pipe. The parameters used are hardness, tensile strength and microstructure of both types of pipe. The test results on the pipe that is good value average hardness of 148 HV, while the broken pipe an average hardness value of 118 HV a decline of 30 HV. Tensile tests on pipes that are good value tensile strength of 50 kg / mm2 (490 MPa), the broken pipe grades tensile strength of 40 kg / mm (392 MPa), a decline of 10 kg / mm (98 MPa). The test results are good pipe microstructure consisting of ferrite and pearlite structure while at the broken pipe consisting of ferrite phase. In accordance with the results of hardness testing in which the phase of ferrite and pearlite harder than the ferrite phase. The final conclusion is that the pipeline after use for 10 years has decreased mechanical properties, namely: hardness and tensile strength. This is a result of the depletion of the wall thickness due to corrosion

Abstract

Stock is one of financial assets popularly invested in the present time. In spite of its unstable movement, stock price can be predicted for certain period of time to estimate the profit that will be made. The owned stocks can be systematically arranged to produce a maximum profit with minimal risks through portfolio. Portfolio can be arranged by imposing various constraints, such as sector capitalization. With this constraint, portfolio does not create a proportion for each stock, but for every sector containing various stocks. If implemented, the investor may be interested in investing their capital into the stocks that have the high value in the capital market. By investing in various stocks, investors can minimize the risks provided one of the chosen sectors suffers loss. Optimization with this constraint is a non-linear optimization problem with integer and real numbers with the help of Particle Swarm Optimization method. The optimization results in this article show the consecutive weight of five sectors of LQ45 stocks are 0,353; 0,2465; 0,222; 0,1164; 0,0955 with the risk of 0,0030.

Abstract

This event will be based on research by learning how important the Computer against the primary level, since with the introduction of computerized technology early on then the child will be familiar with computerized technology in the future.From all types of media, interactive entertainment media learning learning through games including one that has more value, because basically the game is for entertainment and with the Foundation of the learning media can make kids or students being more pleased in learning because they can play while learning at the same time.Making this game aims to add insight to children of the importance of technology, through this interactive game expected user or users feel interested and not feel bored in study.The research method used was the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Water Fall and Game Design Document (GDD) who used the stage of the research (1) stage of analysis, (2) the stage of design, the programming phase (3), (4) the stage of testing, (5) stages maintenance.Needs analysis stage includes material and hardware and software requirements specifications.This form of the game is about questions concerning about the device and the computer functions with multiple choice answers.As well as answering the test, players stay clicking one answer to every question that appears by using the games with java applications.

Abstract

Pada produksi massal, sistem inspeksi visual telah digunakan untuk meningkatakan produk yang berkualitas tinggi. Hal ini didorong oleh fakta bahwa industri manufaktur sangat termotivasi untuk menggunakan sistem pemeriksaan yang membutuhkan keakuratan tinggi dengan instalasi dan biaya pemeliharaan yang rendah. Penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan klasifikasi produk pabrik keramik yang berhubungan dengan pendeteksian cacat dengan mengacu pada model sistem inspeksi, menggunakan ubin keramik. Banyak penelitian tentang pengujian ubin keramik yang sudah dilakukan, tetapi masih banyak yang belum memberikan hasil yang optimal dan masih ditemukan beberapa permasalahan dalam kenyataanya. Permasalahan yang timbul adalah waktu akses yang masih lambat, keakuratan data yang rendah dan tingkat kesalahan yang tinggi. Penelitian ini menggabungkan teknik pengolahan citra dan model Adaptive Neural Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS). Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah pengujian ubin keramik yang lebih akurat dibandingkan dengan penelitian sejenis yang pernah dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengujian yang dilakukan, model ANFIS sangat layak dijadikan sebagai model inferensi kecerdasan buatan dalam sistem yang berbasis inspeksi otomatis khususnya dalam menemukan cacat pada ubin keramik. Hybrid trapesium mf yang digunakan pada model ANFIS memiliki kesalahan 0,172737 dan akurasi pengujian data adalah 99%.Kata kunci: Sistem Inspeksi Visual, pendeteksian cacat, pengolahan citra, Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference dan Fuzzy Logic

Abstract

Most students find a learning evaluation a bigissuebecause theyhave toreceive the learning evaluation by doing worksheetsin a tense atmosphere, leaving them with mixed feelings. Such can be turned into fun and interesting atmosphere for students if the teachers can take advantage of a computer-based technology. Learning evaluation can be performedby playing a guessing game, selecting pictures, arranging patterns, all of which can make students enthusiastic about doing their learning evaluation. The Quiz Creator is an application program that can make the interactive and fun learning evaluation. The Quiz Creator can be easily used in creating evaluation questions because the teachers do not need skill at a complicated programming to use it. Training and workshops that will be conducted forElementary School teachers are expected to encourage them to create interactive and fun learning evaluation materials. This is expected to make students more passionate about studyingbeforethe learning evaluation becausethe learning evaluation in classroom is conductedin fun and interactive ways.
