Abstract

Disturbances in the Hepatobiliaris system are health problems that are often encountered, even growing, so to know the diagnosis will be difficult. A better way is to consult an expert or an expert doctor. But there are also weaknesses such as working hours or limited experts. Expert system is one branch of artificial intelligence that learns how to adopt the way an expert thinks in solving a problem and make decisions and conclusions. The problem discussed is how to design a system that can be used to solve the above problems. The purpose and objective of the author in making this expert sisem is to assist the prospective physician in diagnosing disorders of the Hepatobiliaris system like an expert. Expert system using Best First Search method and using Forward Chaining technique. In this system poured knowledge of an expert in the can during research at Permata Ibu Hospital. An expert system developed based on Android on the client side, PHP and MySQL. This expert system displays a selection of symptoms that can be selected by the user, where each choice of symptoms that will lead the user to the next symptom option to get the conclusion.

Abstract

Teknologi transmisi komunikasi jarak jauh pada saat ini semakin berkembang dengan cepat. Hal ini didorong oleh meningkatnya kebutuhan manusia akan komunikasi jarak jauh ditinjau dari kualitas transmisi maupun kuantitas pelayanan. Untuk mendukung komunikasi jarak jauh yang menghubungkan antar pulau dan antar negara, saat ini berkembang sistem transmisi fiber optik yang mempunyai kelebihan dibandingkan dengan sistem transmisi yang lain seperti rugi-rugi transmisi yang sangat rendah, ukuran fisik yang lebih kecil dan ringan, tahan terhadap interferensi elektromagnetik dan interferensi frekuensi radio sehingga bebas dari crosstalk. Salah satu sistem transmisi fiber optik antar negara yang sedang berkembang adalah sistem komunikasi kabel laut Matrix Cable System (MCS) yang menghubungkan Jakarta dengan Singapura. Namun sistem komunikasi kabel laut Matrix Cable Systems (MCS) memerlukan perawatan dan pemeliharaan untuk menjaga kestabilan trafik infomasi yang berupa voice dan data. Pada penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai analisis gangguan transmisi pada sistem komunikasi kabel laut Matrix Cable System Jakarta – Singapura yang disebabkan oleh fiber cut. Abstract

Kualitas sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu faktor dalam meningkatkan produktivitas kinerja suatu instansi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sumber daya manusia yang mempunyai kompetensi tinggi karena keahlian atau kompetensi akan dapat mendukung peningkatan prestasi kerja karyawan. Penilaian kinerja harus dilakukan untuk mengetahui prestasi yang dicapai setiap karyawan dengan baik, cukup baik atau kurang bisa diketahui. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada Resto ABTL adalah belum adanya format yang baku mengenai evaluasi penilaian karyawan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan sistem pendukung keputusan yang dapat membantu manajer dalam menentukan karyawan dengan kinerja terbaik (Employee of The Month), serta memberikan saran membangun karyawan berdasarkan nilai yang diperoleh. Model evaluasi kinerja karyawan adalah sistem evaluasi yang dirancang untuk mengidentifikasi kinerja karyawan dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Model tersebut menggunakan logika fuzzy sugeno dengan beberapa kriteria, yaitu: kehadiran, pelayanan, penampilan, kerjasama dan tanggung jawab. Kriteria dibagi dalam himpunan fuzzy Buruk, Cukup, dan Baik. Dari kriteria tersebut dibuat model penilaian kinerja dalam evaluasi kinerja karyawan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah model evaluasi kinerja karyawan dapat dibuat model sistem pendukung keputusan dengan pendekatan fuzzy.

Abstract

The ability of companies to manage the existing knowledge is a foundation necessary to survive. This also applies to food and beverages companies in Indonesia. Knowledge Management (KM) is an effort to improve the knowledge useful for the company. KM is not just an arrangement of knowledge, but also the management of a company with a special focus on knowledge. Difficulties in searching a recent quality document sometimes hamper the performance of employees, create an uneven distribution of documents for each division and an unavailable presentation of online information on list of quality documents that can accommodate the knowledge sharing activities among employees. The result of the research is the availability of a medium, in this case, the one that can accommodate the company's quality documents, registration documents and forums for discussion.

Abstract

Productivity is an important factor to influence the performance of a company. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in printing business. The object of research is Yoshino inline binding machine in the company. The problems caused by this machine, such as hindered and less than maximum production, downtime, breakdown, and setup and adjustment, result in the decrease in productivity. The purpose of this research is to know the calculation of Overall Equipment Effetiviness (OEE) on Yoshino Machine, to know the difference of calculation result from March to May 2015 period and from March to May 2016 and to know some factors causing the decrease in productivity. This research uses the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. Based on the calculation of Overall Equipment Effetiviness (OEE) on Yoshino Machinery, March-May 2015 period compared to March-May 2016 period, the result in March is of 60.14%, April of 57.92%, and May of 59.92%. In general, OEE achievement increases every month, but not yet reached the World Class OEE criteria. The low value of OEE obtained from the Yoshino Machine is due to four factors: operator’s less knowledge of machine (Human), unstable glue temperature (Engine), late suppliers (Material) and inefficient cutter replacing time (Method).

Abstract

Natural resources promise extraordinary economic development potential, which must be utilized as optimally as possible. To make it happen, one of the factors that influences the success of an organization's business is the well-managed management of information technology (IT) infrastructure. The quality of SI / IT products and services can be measured by internal customer perceptions. Several computer companies have begun to work with Petroleum Industry companies to build HPC Clusters to help process physical exploration data so that it can be processed quickly. HPC (High Performance Computing) is a technology that utilizes computer parallel processes as a step to complete work that requires large computing performance. Large processing of sesmik data requires fast and stable computer capabilities. The goal is to serve internal / user and external / customer requests. On this basis the author conducted a research at PT.PGSN South Jakarta. This study consists of two types, namely correlation research which will examine the relationship between internal customer satisfaction with seven independent variables of product / service quality of IS / IT and the relationship between perceptions of increasing internal customer performance on seven independent variables of product / service quality of IS / IT. The seven variables are: availability, user friendliness, productivity, reliability, durability, responsiveness and timeless of support. As well as comparative research to see whether there is a difference / significant difference between internal customers and IT Human Resources in assessing performance aspects. The six aspects of performance were analyzed: problem response, Software, Hardware and network maintenance, information system development, program & SI maintenance, passwords and online control. Correlation tests were carried out using the Spearman correlation analysis method, while the comparative test was carried out using the Mann-Whitney analysis method.

Abstract

Dunia internet merupakan jaringan global yang dipublikasikan kepada umum. Didalam internet ditemukan berbagai macam tindakan positif dan negative. Kalau berbicara dalam jaringan pada internet, lalu lintas informasi sudah sangat cepat. Jaringan internet masa sekarang sudah semakin mutakhir, Maka perlu keamanan untuk mengantisipasi perbuatan negative di internet. Salah satunya dengan berhati-hati dan bijak dalam mengambil aplikasi dari internet dan selalu menjaga kerahasiaan, serta menggunakan Anti Virus untuk membentengi sistem komputer untuk mencegah terjadi sesuatu yang tidak di inginkan pada saat sedang melakukan aktifitas yang terkoneksi dengan internet, seperti menyusupnya virus-virus seperti adware, spyware, malware, dan lainnya kedalam komputer kita dan mengawasi aktifitas surfing kita di dunia Internet. Virus spyware merupakan program yang dibuat untuk memata-matai komputer korbannya. Bila sudah terinfeksi virus spyware sudah tidak ada rahasia lagi dalam komputer korban. Dalam percobaan spyware menggunakan aplikasi Vmware akan membuat dua komputer virtual. komputer pertama sebagai penyerang dan satu lagi menjadi target serangan spyware. Dua komputer virtual diciptakan menggunakan aplikasi vmware. Penyerang menggunakan sistem operasi backtrack untuk menyerang target, sedangkan target korban menggunakan sistem operasi windows. Aktifitas dari komputer target yang terkena virus spyware terlihat segala aktifitasnya bisa dipantau, dikontrol bahkan bisa juga di ambil alih kewenangan sistemnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of the project to make Magnesium Oxide (MgO) sol gel combustion method by evaluating the engineering and economic aspects. Several economic evaluation parameters are analyzed to inform the potential production of MgO nanoparticles, the length of time required for an investment to recover the total initial expenditure (PBP), project conditions for a production in the form of a production function in years (CNPV), project profits and others. The results showed that the production of MgO nanoparticles was very prospective. Technical analysis to produce 1.38 kg of MgO nanoparticles per day shows the total cost of the equipment purchased was USD 91,542.86. PBP analysis shows that investment profitable after more than 3 years. This project can compete with PBP capital market standards because the investment will return in a short time. To ensure the feasibility of the project, the project is estimated from the ideal conditions to the worst cases in production, including labor, sales, raw materials, utilities, and external conditions (e.g. tax).

Abstract

Universities need to seek the quality of lecturers. Indraprasta University is an institution with the great number resources with great potential. The lecturers have passion to keep learning, so academically skilled, dedicated and good ethical. Basically, the lecturer must master many subjects, while the subjects’ control are vary. In addition, there is no knowledge manager system yet for the lecturer, to store, discuss and utilize the joint development of knowledge related to college teaching materials. This motivated the author to build a knowledge management system to improve the competence of lecturers, by optimizing communication lines knowledge. The study was conducted using qualitative research method, case study type, with the concept of Amrit Tiwana framework model, tested with FGD and model of ISO 9126 (functionality, reliability, usability, and efficiency). Outcome is a web-based KMS prototype with features lecturer data input, subjects input, discussion forums, loading and downloading files, file searches.

Abstract

The existence of Sumarno Jaya Store Building is very helpful to people, especially those who are building houses in Depok. The store receives orders of building materials, products and others. However, there are many people not knowing it because it is not a big store. Therefore, with the use of internet media, it is expected that many people will know the Building Shop Sumarno Jaya.. The purpose of the research is to make consumers easily access the services and order building products without coming to the store and to make the store owners improve the service, order and promotion to develop and expand the store in the future. In this modern era, technology competition is getting tougher, especially in cyberspace or better known as internet. It is a new challenge encouraging the researcher to be enthusiastic about competing in this Globalization Era. Application used by the researcher to design the website is Content Management System (CMS), with PHP programming language and MYSQL database. Thus, a website application will look like a mere desktop application. Then, the level of speed, interactivity, functionality, and usefulness of web pages will increase.
