Abstract

One of the most reliable models of telecommunication equipment in the event of a disaster is a radio communications device. Radio device with Handy Talky model, has limited communication distance capability. By developing it into RoIP (Radio Over IP), the radio telecommunication system is tied up on VoIP system so that radio telecommunication system becomes more global and able to solve the problem of interoperability in telecommunication problem in general and telecommunication system of disaster response. This study examines the reliability level of RoIP (Radio Over IP) which is implemented in disaster response communication system. Tests include VOX / Switcher, Packet Loss and Delay systems for the use of CODEC and the number of users and the quality of mobile internet from various providers capable of being used for RoIP systems.Keyword:  RoIP, Radio Over IP, VOX, CODEC, disaster response

Abstract

 Script selection process is a process for the assessment of the manuscript for eligible published. The assessment conducted by the script editor. The Editor  task of providing evaluation on every script based on criteria and assessment subkriteria. By using the decision support system will facilitate policy makers in determining the eligibility of the script. On this research will be done against the design of decision support system to select the paper worthy of publication that can provide recommendations for policy makers in determining the feasibility of a manuscript for publication or not. Abstract

The title of this research is The Stategic Planning of Information System in Badan Koordinasi Taman Kanak Al Qur’an dan Taman Pendidikan Al Qur’an Bantul Regency.  To manage TKA-TPA in Bantul Regency which consists of 909 units well, it needs to have strategic planning of Information system by using the development of IS/TI. This research is aimed to make a planning of strategic Information System by using framework Ward and Peppard to help the organization to achieve the vision, mission, and the goal of the organization.  This research is focused on the scope of strategic planning information system by using framework Ward and Peppard and Value Chain, SWOT and PEST method analysis. The research is started by analyzing the internal/external environment of organization and the information system recently based on framework Ward and Peppard by using certain analysis method. The next step is identify the needed of information system and give the proposal of the next information system based on the analysis result. Abstract

The study is categorized as research and development of research or research and development ( R & D ) . The research procedures used in concuting this study consist of some steps i.e.: information gathering, planning, early product development, product validation, revision, and product trials. At this stage of development jobsheet tested for feasibility by means of validation by experts (alpha test) , User jobsheet teachers and students as much as 2 consisted of 10 students (beta test) in Vocational High Scholl 1 Pleret, and then made the final revision . Next product assessment to determine the level of effectiveness of the use of jobsheet the way it is used directly in the learning in Vocational High Scholl 1 Pleret which 54 students . Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics only .The result of this research is a product jobsheet network security system that can be used by teachers and students in the learning process . Based on the results of the implementation of the beta test conducted in Vocational High Scholl 1 Pleret , product assessment results indicate that the product made has been met the needs of instructional media . Abstract

The visually impaired is is a person who can not use his eyes as the primary senses to obtain information on the environment (Nawawi, 2010).  Visual impairment in a person, causing the visually impaired will have limitations. The limitations are as follows: (1) obtain information and new experiences, (2) interaction with the environment, and (3) mobility. The development of communication technology, especially on a handheld cell phone that starts with a keypad, developed into a flat-screen smartphone makes it difficult to use by the visually impaired. B-SMART application comes with the concept of Virtual Braille Keyboard,  application of the concept of Braille as navigation and input so that the blind people can use the touch screen smartphone. This study aims to evaluate the application of B-SMART by measuring the level of effectiveness, efficiency and user satisfaction of the B-SMART mobile applications. The method of analysis in this study using Cognitive Walkthrough  combined with Quistionairre for User Interface Satisfaction (Quis). The test results showed the effectiveness of B-SMART application amounted to 85.0%, the efficiency level is 42.7% and the satisfaction of respondents was 77.1%. The results show that there is a problem faced by respondents when using the application to complete the task scenario seen from the effectiveness of 85% and an efficiency of 42.7%. The test results are discussed in the Focus Group Discussion and used as the basis of the recommendations on the improvement of the interface of B-SMART.Keywords : Visually impaired, Mobile Application, User interface, Usability, Cognitive Walkthrough

Abstract

          Database is an important part of information system, one of the role of database system that is as source of information for information system. Information system alumni of Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu is a web-based application that uses MySQL as its database system. Evaluation is done to identify the errors that exist in the database SIAUMB, after the evaluation on the database there are some errors in the database SIAUMB, including errors in the relation, field, key, constraint, record, query, adding data (insert), change data (update) and deletion of data (delete). Future databases can produce an alumni information system capable of providing exploratory information quickly, easily and accurately and able to assist the parties concerned in making management decisions alumni Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu. Then can be done new database design with reference to result of evaluation which have been done. After that, data quality testing on aspects of accuracy and non-duplicate aspects, testing is done by executing query, each query that executed will generate record and result column then compared between new database with old database before evaluation. Keywords : Database, Alumnus, Evaluation

Abstract

The prototype of this water level detector uses the Arduino Uno R3 Microcontroller based on the ATmega328P chip to detect the water level. For the output of its arduinonya connected to the LED light (light), the busser (sound) and serial are connected to the laptop to display the readings from the water level, whether the water level is safe or dangerous.Key words: water level, arduino, microcontroller

Abstract

University Muhammadiyah Bengkulu (UMB) in data processing lecturers and employees have a web-based information system known as Lecturer and Employee Information System (SIMDOSKAR). This research discusses about user behavior towards SIMDOSKAR UMB using Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. The purpose of this study is to determine the variables that affect user interest behavior and provide recommendations in the form of suggestions for improvement of the front system.This research was conducted by using descriptive qualitative method by distributing questionnaires, with 33 respondents. The data in the research were tested using SEM analysis technique and Partian Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and attitude towards using tecknology have positive effect on User Behavior Interest. This variable is able to influence behavioral intention to use the system equal to 85,1% obtained from value of R2, whereas the lowest influence is behavior interest toward interest of user behavior with t-statistic value 0, 135. Keywords: implementation analysis, behavioral intention to use, UTAUT, SIMDOSKAR UMB

Abstract

The information available on the Web can be anything (hypermedia) and about anything. Anybody can be a suspect emergence of false or misleading information. The web site is currently present with no central point of control and can not be used as a central repository. Apache Jena was present to address that fact and can be used in the implementation of semantic web that is easily recognizable by the machine without losing the good things from the web itself as well as the change from a decentralized platform for presentation to a decentralized distribution platform for the distribution of knowledge. Abstract

Quality of Service (QoS) is not a limit but rather to the quality of the resulting internet services against a method that is used. To generate the required QoS bandwidth management method of a. Hierarchical token bucket (HTB) is a good method to do bandwidth management. The purpose of this study is to conduct an analysis of QoS method using HTB against parameters, delay, throughput and packet loss on the internet service at the Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu. Testing was done using the mikrotik RB433AH oprasi system that is running on windows 7, as well as the tools used is a command prompt (CMD) and wireshark to do capture data analysis. The resulting QoS by using the method of HTB is 3 and has nice categories based on average index parameters. On testing the parameters of the resulting value is the throughput of 52.17% with index 3. While the resulting value of the delay parameter of 45ms with index 4 and packet loss parameters on testing the resulting value of 18.52% with a value of index 2.Keywords: Quality of Service, HTB, Bandwidth Management, Throughput, Delay, Packet Loss.
