Abstract

Against the background of this research by the apparent problems in the field, the class X quadriplegic son DV / D has a low self-concept, so it does not have the confidence to perform in front umum.Penelitian aims to improve the behavior of confidence memalui quadriplegic child throwing a basket ball game . Throwing a basket ball game is a game similar to basketball games, but has been modified in accordance with the child's condition. The research methodology used was single subject research study by the research design is the design of A - B. Data analysis techniques are used based on the observed data in the form of visual analysis of graphs.

Abstract

This research begins with the inability of a problem that is not mentally impaired children of class D 1 C SDLB to master the learning of mathematics. Therefore, in this study researcher used a guessing game figures to enhance the ability of mentally impaired children in knowing numbers 1-10. This type of research is a class act who performed in collaboration with colleagues or classroom teacher. research subjects were Class D I C SDLB , three children Tunagrahita (Fd, Sv, Pt). The research was carried out using two cycles. The first cycle performed four times a second cycle of meetings and performed a total of four meetings. Data collected through observation, testing, and documentation. The results showed that the learning process increases the ability to know the numbers 1-10 through the game guess numbers can increase the ability of children which can result in the end in terms of states, shows and write numbers 1-10 have achieved 100% success. It can be concluded that through a number guessing game can improve children's ability to recognize numbers 1-10, it is advisable for teachers to apply the guessing game as one of the media figures that can be used to identify the numbers

Abstract

This research aim to the 1) Description of execution of study improve to recognize work types by using power point of medium at autis of child SLB Autis Harapan Bunda Padang. 2) Please prove that media of power point can imporove ability recognize work type by using power point medium autis of child in SLB Autis Harapan Bunda Padang. This research by using method classroom action research collaboration with coleage. Data collected by observatin and tes technique, later than analysed qualitative and quantitative. Result of research indicate that 1) study process recognize work type with two cycle. Cycle one seven times meeting which early with activity of planning, final activity and execution.  Cycle two the four of times. 2) Result of study recognize work type with power point of medium tes early value “A” (10) while “I” still (0). Cycle I assess ability recognize type work of child mount namely: both child (A dan I) obtaining 70. While cycle  II increase to mount “A” obtaining (100) and “I” obtaining (90) from five tested work type. Thereby, can be concluded taht media of power point can improve ability recognize w ork type to autis of child class D.III SLB Autis Harapan Bunda Padang.

Abstract

This research was the discovery of a blind Professor begins the initials he has talent special in the field of music. See it then it can be formulated in this research issue i.e. How does the blind Professor profile at Art Institute Indonesia Padang Panjang. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach to look at the profile of a college professor who are blind. The subject is a college professor who are blind. The collection of data in this study through observation, interviews, and documentation.From the results of the research appear that the birth of a history lecturer blind to walk normally. He was the third child of six siblings and married in 1967 but he did not have children. As for the causes of blindness, known since he was a toddler and grow just like the other kids. Because it has a strong desire to learn the violin, then he was sent to study abroad (Belgium). After completing his studies abroad and won, then he returned to Indonesia and served as educators (Lecturer) at the Art Institute Indonesia Padang Panjang.

Abstract

Against the background of this research by the problems that researchers found in SMPLB YPPC Sawahlunto, a deaf child class IX B minor second semester who have difficulties in verbal language. It is evident, as do interviews and observations were only some teachers who understand the language presented by children with hearing impairment. Researchers also conducted an oral test by saying the ten words (aku, api, baca, buku, curi, kaca, lari, mata, nasi, tahu), but the result of children not just say or express in words that are already available, namely (aku pronounced aghu, api pronounced ebi, baca pronounced maca, buku pronounced bughu, curi pronounced cughi, kaca pronounced ghancah, lari pronounced laghi, mata pronounced mbata, nasi pronounced nasih, tahu pronounced tauh). To overcome this problem researchers are trying to provide an alternative to using I-CHAT media are assumed to be able to help the deaf in the correct pronunciation of orally. This study aims to enhance the deaf child's verbal language class IX B in SMPLB YPPC Sawahlunto. This type of research is the Single Subject Research (SSR) is a study done in different conditions using A B designs. where A is the baseline conditions of the initial condition of the child's ability in verbal language before the given action. While the condition B is a condition in which the intervention condition of children in the intervention provided through the medium of I-CHAT. The size of the target behavior when the child could utter a single word correctly rated the top ten and the one given the value zero. The results of this study shows that verbal language skills of children with hearing impairment in class IX B SMPLB YPPC Sawahlunto media gave rise after the I-CHAT. This terbuktu when the observations made in two sessions: first session provided baseline before intervention (A) is performed five times of observation, and the percentage of verbal language skills in this condition lies in the range of 0%, 0%, 0%, 0% and 0%. Second, the intervention sessions (B) by using the media I-CHAT, the observations were made nine times as many observations, and the percentage of verbal language skills of children with hearing impairment in this condition lies in the range of 50%, 60%, 70%, 70%, 60%, 70 %, 90%, 100%, 100%. Based on these results we can conclude verbal language of deaf children in the class IX B SMPLB YPPC Sawahlunto be increased through the medium of I-CHAT.

Abstract

This study, using experimental approaches in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR). As the subject is one child mild mental retardation. Assessment conducted in this study, consistent in how children actually answer the question of the ability of existing early childhood. This study first examines the baseline condition, children have the ability to read, then given intervention by using the flipchart Having given intervention, researchers measured back reading skills possessed noun child. Data obtained through direct observation, and analysis of data. Data analysis in this research is the data visually in the form of graphs.

Abstract

The reseatch is starting from obsevation, where researcher found when realize observation. Researcher found an autis child get obstacle in take hold of pencil. This research have as aim to increase child ability in hold pencil with good and right by means of pry up flestisin technique.  This research use experiment approach in from Single Subject Research (SSR), with use A-B desian. Subject is this research is an autis child. The yield of the research shawed, if talent, if talent of autis child hold a pencil is rise although stages. In this baseline condition (A) the child can do one talent that is write distance between book and eye 25-30cm. at baseline condition in the frist day till 5th days, talented of child across that is 30%. At intervensi condition (B) straight rise from 35% till 65%. Suggestion for teacher can use pry up technique to increase how to hold pencil for autis child.

Abstract

The background of this research due to the difficulties experienced by classroom teachers in the implementation of thematic learning for students in special schools mild mental retardation field Wisdom reform. Unexplained difficulty is evident from the teacher presents the material in a less integrated, the use of learning methods that monotony and lack of media used to support the teacher .. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the implementation of the thematic learning begins with the learning program preparing them to prepare a syllabus and lesson plan implementation, attention kasiapan students or teachers. Initial activities starting from prayer, attendance, conditioned students, and appersepsi. Presentation materials used by the teacher was explaining the lesson separately so less visible alignment. The method used in other anatar learning lectures, discussion, drill and assignments. Activities end or cover done by concluding lesson with students and provide training. Constraints faced by teachers in preparing teaching materials that teachers are lacking thematic knowing about linking material on each subject, combined, teachers rarely use the media in the implementation of learning.

Abstract

The background research is the lack of english vocabulary in deaf student majoring in Special Need Education (PLB) FIP UNP Padang. Thus, the author helps to improve English vocabulary that is specific to the noun vocabulary through Flash Cards. This study used a single subject research approach (SSR) with the A-B design and data analysis techniques using visual graphical analysis. The subjects were students with hearing impairment, given the intervention by using the flash cards. From the results of this research results show English vocabulary (noun) an increase controlled subjects. In the analysis between conditions showed a tendency towards a positive (+) change of variable to variable rendt stability, trend and level changes increased from 15% to 90%, and 0% Percentage Overlap of data meaningful research results accepted. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that the Treasury Vocabulary English (Noun) The Deaf Students Can Enhanced Media Flash Card. The authors suggest to students that English vocabulary is lacking, could use a media card in increasing vocabulary words and no exception to teachers who want to apply the word cards to students in improving the vocabulary of the students.

Abstract

The research was carried out on a deaf child, from child observations encountered in reading fluently, but in reading comprehension, the ability of children is low, look and answered many were emptied. Thus the researchers want to improve kids' reading comprehension through reading techniques stuffing tunagrungu hiatus. Type of research is the design of Single Subject Research A - B. Target size by the percentage of their behavior, children were told about the test menkawab reading comprehension skills, and researchers recorded the results and are calculated using a percentage, what percentage of children can answer the questions given. Data were analyzed using visual analysis of the graph that consists of the analysis of the condition and between conditions.
