Abstract

The design of the YPPA Padang Autism SLB Company Profile aims to introduce information to autistic students and their parents. SLB Autism YPPA Padang is a place for teaching and learning (also called classical learning) and an individual learning place for autistic students in the city of Padang, West Sumatra. In addition, in this SLB there is a sensory therapy room, a culinary arts room, a music room, a skills and batik room, a sports room / playing field, a scout room, and a computer room or ICT (Information and Communication Technology). One of inadequacy in the SLB is the lack of company profile media in SLB Autism YPPA Padang, such as not having booklets, signboard, banners, billboards, brochures, and posters that have not been maximized. All these deficiencies were corrected in this design.The design method used starts from the glass box method, while the data analysis method uses SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). The next step is to analyze the product and carry out creative design. The design of the company profile is done by paying attention and displaying layout, typography and attractive colors so that information can be clearly understood.Keywords: Company Profile, Booklet, YPPA Padang Extraordinary Autistic School, Design.

Abstract

The purpose of this design is to make Gulo-Gulo Tareh Nina's packaging attractive and able to convey information to a new target audience and be able to compete in a wider market. This design uses visual communication design theory, packaging, layout, typography and color. Data collection starts with observation, interview and documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis method used is SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). This design produces the main media packaging in the form of standup pouch. Abstract

Designing UI Design mobile Application e-ticket PT. NPM aims to increase the promotion, quality and user transportation of the company PT. NPM. This app is expected to assist in carrying out a ticket purchase transaction which can be used by any person anywhere and anytime. The glass box method is a logical and rational thinking method used in designing the UI Design of PT. E-Ticket mobile application. NPM. This NPM Mobile app is designed with a good UI with a nice layout, so users are comfortable and the application is usable when used. The NPM Mobile app has the main content, i.e. ticket messages and supporting content i.e., deals, points, vouchers and refunds. The content is well organized and neatly grouped, so users easily know the information needed. The process of problem solving, SWOT analysis is used (Strenght, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) to find the solution of the problems encountered. To get information, observe and interview the user's head. Author eligibility tests do to some samples to determine deserving and usable in the application that the author designed. In the results of the first feasibility test almost all samples say less satisfied with the appearance of the application, which related to the layout is still messy, the font size Kuran pas and navigation buttons too small. The author further repairs and performs a second feasibility test. The result of this agility test is satisfactory, the sample says very fond of the entire look of the application. So this NPM Mobile app UI is already decent and useble used. To support major media, made supporting media, motion graphic, x-banner, poster, T-shirt, Totebag, keychains and sticker.Keyword : Mobile application, bis transportation, user interface

Abstract

Adabiah High School is one of the well-known private schools in the city of Padang and one of the national-level private schools. Adabiah 2 Senior High School is very spacious and beautiful with adequate facilities.The making of this video profile aims to create supporting promotional media through Visual Communication Design by showing the aesthetic values of the design on supporting media that can attract consumer interest.The main media in designing this video profile is communication media in the form of audio visual . And supported by various supporting media for school promotions such as calendars, wall of fame, posters, pins, banners, book covers and x-banners.Keywords: Video Profile , audio visual

Abstract

The purpose of designing an illustrated book on the dangers of junk food for children as an educational and interactive media in the delivery of the dangers of junk food meals so that children reduce to avoid consuming junk food foods and prefer to eat healthy foods, vegetables and fruit that is useful for health and for the development and growth of children. This illustrated book was chosen as one of the educational media for children because it presents stories and illustrations of characters that make children enthusiastic to read it, so learning is more fun.The data analysis method in the 5W + 1H technique is (what, where, who, why and how) to find a solution to the problem at hand. Data collection was carried out using interview and documentation methods. Illustration, typography, and layout are designed using visual communication design theory, child psychology, media, books, illustrations, colors, layouts and typography. In addition to designing illustration books as the main media, this design has supporting media such as posters, x-banners, stickers, coloring books, notebooks, tote bags, and food supply boxes.Keywords: Book, Illustration Education, Junk Food, Children

Abstract

Optik Antokan Lubuk Basung is a business that operates in the field of eyewear services located at Jalan VII of the Padang Baru Impres Market, Lubuk Basung. Optik Antokan was founded in 2010 and is managed by Aan Goechi as the founder and leader until now. Optical Antokan requires a visual identity that includes logos, colors and fonts, as well as the rules in its application, in accordance with the references specified by the designer in the manual as the main media, in order to establish an affirmed identity, improve business image, according to the distinctions and uniqueness provided for Antokan Optics.Optical Identity Visual Design Method used by the author uses the Glass Box method. This design method starts from data collection, interview and observation. Related problems that occur can be known, as well as the discussion of problems that are analyzed using the SWOT theory (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats). The main media used in this visual identity is the Manual Book / BrandGuidelines. In addition to the main media, this visual identity is complemented by supporting media such as stationery sets, paperbags, x-banners, stickers, posters, glasses boxes, lens cleaners, and t-shirts which support to support the use of the main media.Keyword : Visual Identity, Optik Antokan, Media.

Abstract

Zoonosis infographic design (a disease transmitted by dogs and cats) using poster media. The purpose of this infographic design is to educate or increase knowledge and to remind the public of dogs and cats that can transmit Zoonosis. This infographic describes a carrier or animal carrier of disease, mode of transmission, symptoms, treatment and prevention.The design method used is the glass box method and includes the collection of data through Non-Participant observation at the Padang City Health Office to obtain valid data about the disease. Secondary data were obtained from manuals and supporting articles available on the internet. The analytical method used in analyzing data that has been collected is believed to use the 5W + 1H data analysis method. The main media for infographics are posters, and using supporting media: stickers, pins, key chains, tissue boxes, mugs, pencil cases, calendars, flyers and glossary bookmarks.Keywords: Infographics, Zoonosis, posters, rabies

Abstract

The purpose of designing this Liek batik video profile is as a medium of socialization to the public. So that people both inside and outside West Sumatra know the culture and crafts in West Sumatra. The communication media used to socialize and promote liek batik is a video profile in the form of a documentary, which will later tell the history and origins of liek batik in West Sumatra. This liek batik was re-introduced by Wirda Hanim in 1994, located at Jl. Sawahan In Padang. Data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of 5W + 1H (what, who, where, when, why and how). Abstract

The design of the user interface page of the mobile application page of the online shop "Mormo  Store" aims to develop and increase sales of Mormo products online so that it can expand the reach of product marketing places outside the city of Padang. Buyers are also made easy to make product purchases without having to come directly to an offline store, so as to save the time and effort of buyers.The glass box method is a method that thinks logically and rationally used in the user interface design of the mobile application page of the online store "Mormo Store". In the process ofsolving problems using 5W + 1H analysis (what, who, where, when, why, how) to find solutions to the problems encountered. In compiling the flow of interactions with the application an observation is made of the user's behavior and desires, then the results of the study and observations are arranged in a layout that is as simple as possible.The main media produced in this design is the user interface application page online store mormo store. To support the main media, supporting media were created, namely motion graphics, x-banners, plastic bags, label packaging, notebooks, tumblers, and acrylic display stands. In order for the resulting design to have good results, a designfeasibility test was carried out on fifteen samples. Design tests conducted include the appearance, convenience, and comfort of the user in using the application. Based on the feasibility test that has been done, it can be concluded that the user interface of the mormo store online store application page is very well judged from the appearance, ease and comfort of the user in operating the application page.Keywords: mobile application, online store, mormo store, user interface

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukan penelitian di perkampungan adat Sijunjung adalah untuk menginventaris pola penataan ruang pada rumah gadang dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terbentuknya pola penataan ruang serta mendeskripsikan prinsip desain dalam pola penataan ruang rumah gadang di perkampungan adat Jorong Padang Ranah kabupaten Sijunjung.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara pengamatan kelapangan, wawancara, dan pengumpulan dokumentasi. Untuk analisis dan pengumpulan data, dengan cara mereduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk menguji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi data.Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan pola penataan rumah gadang di kampung adat Jorong Padang Ranah Kabupaten Sijunjung adalah pola desa linier. Faktor yang mempengaruhi pola penataan rumah gadang tersusun rapi yang menghadap kejalan yaitu faktor sosial budaya, ekonomi dan faktor lingkungan alam. Sedangkan prinsip dan kaidah yang terkandung dalam penataan ruang rumah gadang di kampung adat jorong padang ranah mengunakan prinsip kesatuan, keharmonisan, keselarasan, keseimbangan dan irama.Kata Kunci : Pola, Desa, Susunan, Tata Ruang, Rumah Gadang, Minangkabau
