The fairy tale of Our Mother is a Cat, none of the children have ever met the storybook in comical form. So that children are very less interested in reading it, because there is only writing and at least pictures so that it becomes less interesting. The comics in this book are intended as the main media to convey the contents of the moral message contained in the comics with an attractive visual appearance. The method used is the 4D method. 4D development model consists of four stages namely: Define, Design, Development and Dissemination. This comic book is assisted by other media such as wall clocks, tumbler, key chain, sticker, poster, flayers, , Instagram, cergam digital.Keywords: Book, Picture Story, Folk Story, Jambi.

This study was created by the writer with the aim of describing the meaning and also the cultural values contained in the Aqua packaging illustration of the special label "Discover Your Indonesia".The research method used by researchers is a type of descriptive qualitative method with literature study data collection techniques where the data used is obtained from various journal and internet book sources. This study focuses on the visual analysis of illustrations, colors, and characters on objects contained in the Aqua packaging of the special label "Discover Your Indonesia" reviewed with theories relating to color illustrations and perceptions. Researchers describe the cutouts of each object on the illustration in tabular form and are identified to explain each meaning contained in the Aqua packaging illustration of the special label "Find Your Indonesia"The results of this study explain that every illustration that is on the Aqua label special label "Discover Indonesia" has a positive meaning with the contents of the message delivered to apply Indonesian culture in everyday life.Keywords: Illustration, Visual Overview, Aqua

Tegal Sari Indah Housing was established on July 25, 2018 which is located at Perinstis 2, Tegal Sari, Duri, this housing is one of the subsidized housing units that provide type 36 housing units. The lack of promotion by Tegal Sari Indah housing owners makes this housing not well known to the community, especially the Duri community. So the author makes the design of audio-visual media, in the form of video, this video has a duration of 3 minutes, which will be uploaded on youtube, with the design of this promotion it is expected that Tegal Sari Indah housing is known and able to compete with its competitors.Keywords: Video, promotion, Tegal Sari Indah Housing.

The design of a tourist documentary video for Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra Province, aims to increase the number of visitors who are still small due to the ineffective use of promotional media. The author is interested in raising this problem and designing a final work entitled "Tourism Documentary Video of Dharmasraya Regency".The design method used in designing this documentary video is the Thiagarajan method called 4D with 4 stages consisting of Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. The design of a tourist documentary video for Dharmasraya district uses the SWOT analysis method.The results of designing a tourist documentary video for Dharmasraya district are packaged in the form of a video in the MP4 Full HD format which is burned to a DVD disc, and promoted on a YouTube account and also broadcast on I NewS TV Padang. The supporting media chosen were DVD labels, DVD disc covers, t-shirts, posters, key chains, pins, tote bags and social media profile icons.Keywords: audio-visual media, natural tourism, historical tourism, padangroco temple, Dharmasraya regency tourism.

The role of parents is very important for children so they can be taught how to behave well and dare to be responsible. The purpose of designing the picture book "The Adventure of Ara" as an educational and communicative medium to instill children aged 5-7 years in the responsibility and not taking things that do not belong to them, due to the character development of children's responsibility that is not optimal, such as when children do not. return items that have been used or borrowed.The design method used in this picture storybook is the glassbox method, and for data collection, it uses interviews and questionnaires. Methods of data analysis using the 5W + 1H technique (when,why,who,what,where + how). To find a solution to the problem at hand. The design of the picture storybook “ The Adventure of Ara ” is also supported by other media such as posters, T-shirts, jigsaw puzzles, tumblers, coloring books, stickers, and also pins to support the main media.Keywords : Storybook, Responsible, Kids

The purpose of designing an illustrated book on the dangers of junk food for children as an educational and interactive media in the delivery of the dangers of junk food meals so that children reduce to avoid consuming junk food foods and prefer to eat healthy foods, vegetables and fruit that is useful for health and for the development and growth of children. This illustrated book was chosen as one of the educational media for children because it presents stories and illustrations of characters that make children enthusiastic to read it, so learning is more fun.The data analysis method in the 5W + 1H technique is (what, where, who, why and how) to find a solution to the problem at hand. Data collection was carried out using interview and documentation methods. Illustration, typography, and layout are designed using visual communication design theory, child psychology, media, books, illustrations, colors, layouts and typography. District is one of Hardcore band that have a Melodic Hardcore style from Bukittinggi city. District are the pioneer of Melodic Hardcore genre in Bukittinggi city, made this genre as their characteristic that brought by District. Lyrics from District is containing massage about rebellion and resistance to oppressions. Yet the messages from the lyrics is less delivered, because of the audience have a problem to understand the lyrics.The design of this lyric video is expected can be an effective communication media to delivered contain and message from District song lyrics and suit with low budget also style of Hardcore music.This lyric video will be showing Let’s Revolt lyric from District. Besides showing the lyrics, Motion Graphics will be shown to illustrating to give some better impressions for this lyric video. Zoonosis infographic design (a disease transmitted by dogs and cats) using poster media. The purpose of this infographic design is to educate or increase knowledge and to remind the public of dogs and cats that can transmit Zoonosis. This infographic describes a carrier or animal carrier of disease, mode of transmission, symptoms, treatment and prevention.The design method used is the glass box method and includes the collection of data through Non-Participant observation at the Padang City Health Office to obtain valid data about the disease. Secondary data were obtained from manuals and supporting articles available on the internet. The analytical method used in analyzing data that has been collected is believed to use the 5W + 1H data analysis method. The main media for infographics are posters, and using supporting media: stickers, pins, key chains, tissue boxes, mugs, pencil cases, calendars, flyers and glossary bookmarks.Keywords: Infographics, Zoonosis, posters, rabies

Adabiah 2 Senior High School is very spacious and beautiful with adequate facilities.The making of this video profile aims to create supporting promotional media through Visual Communication Design by showing the aesthetic values of the design on supporting media that can attract consumer interest.The main media in designing this video profile is communication media in the form of audio visual . Minangkabau custom is a value that governs all social life in Minangkabau. The book on natural Minangkabau culture is a reading that teaches the values of Minangkabau adat. The loss of local content in the 2013 curriculum made the community especially Minang begin to forget the values of this Minangkabau. Therefore, the writer makes a reading material for the Minangkabau natural culture book, which is a re-design of the Minangkabau natural culture book. The design is based on book theory, color, typography e 5W + 1H data analysis technique is (what, when where, who, why and how).
