Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of violations of psychological contracts on satisfaction of basic psychological needs. Basic psychological needs consist of a sense of autonomy, competency and connectedness. Data were obtained from a sample of teachers and staff in schools in Purwokerto. The research method used a survey. The results showed that it is important for school administrators to pay attention to the employee psychological violations. Based on the research results showed that psychological contract breach effects the autonomy and connectedness of a person, but not the competence.

Abstract

Retail business that is now very popular is a business that supports many people and gives many benefits to some people. Minimarket, which has long been known to the people of Pontianak, is a form of retail business that is very rapidly growing and its existence is very beneficial to the community. For that, producers need strategies with the objective of achieving competitive advantage and need information about factors that influence consumer behavior in making decisions regarding the purchase of products. The purpose of this study is to find out how the strategy of targeting consumer buying decisions in Palmart Minimarket, Pontianak. This type of research is survey research and data collection techniques used was questionnaire, while the respondents were consumers who had shopped in Palmart Minimarket Pontianak, the data analysis technique used was the Factor Analysis method with Accurate Use correlation/correlation matrix between variables using Bartlett Test of Sphericity or Measure of Sampling Adequacy (MSA). The value of KMO/MSA ranges from 0 - 1 with the criteria used for interpretation. The expected target in this study was to inform how the right strategy of Targeting Consumer Buying Decisions in the Palmart Minimarket, Pontianak. The output of this research is teaching material, paper for national scientific seminars, and publications in national-accredited scientific journals.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship of delay time and costs with estimated that causes increased costs from perspective of management fees project with earned value method and to analyze the influence of the variables associated with the quality control at each stage of the work concreting. Secondary data collection i.e. the draft budget, the curve S, financing and weekly reports the progress of the project. Primary data i.e. questionnaires to 30 respondents. The cost control and time used earned value methods, and quality control with multiple linear regression. The results of the research project performance until the 27th week of aspects of cost and time projects implementation are not experiencing excess costs, but suffered delays. Regression analysis a very influential determinant variables of each job of making concrete to install formwork: concrete level marking and dimensions for formwork, ironing: the connection reinforcement iron and iron a clean free from rust, oil, and dry concrete, for concreting: checking of slump test and the amount of labor, and to uninstall the formwork: concrete age and concrete level according to plan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of stock characteristics with stock returns on consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2011- 2015. Stock characteristics are illiquidity, size, beta, risk and dividend yield. This study uses quantitative approach by using multiple linear regression method in the form of panel data. This study uses a sample of consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2011-2015. The number of samples used in this study is 125 years of observation consisting of 25 companies. The finding of this study indicates that the influence of stock characteristics with stock returns. Illiquidity has no significant positive effect on stock return. Size has no significant positive effect on stock return. Beta has a significant positive effect on stock return. Risk has a significant negative effect on stock return. Dividend yield has a significant negative effect on stock return.

Abstract

Considering the arrangement of upcoming ASEAN Economic Community and Asian games 2018, the potential hotels are urged to prepare qualified and competitive human resource. Language is believed as a means of communication among people involved in these international events. People around the world would stay at certain hotel and English communication competence might relate the conversation between hotel guests and the employees as service provider agent. This study aims to excavate the role of English communication competence toward employees’ working achievement. About three hundreds and fifty three employees from forty four different star hotels in Palembang were involved as the sample. The data is collected by administering two kinds of instrument, namely speaking test (to obtain the condition of their communication competence), questionnaire concerning superior judgement on employees’ working achievement. The results were obtained through the descriptive, percentage, and statistical analysis which is aimed to find out the significant influence of English communication competence toward employee achievement. The findings showed that there was positive influence of English communication competence toward employee achievement.
