Abstract

This study discusses the development of the hadith index book as a product of hadith codification, from the method and systematic aspect of its preparation. The research is qualitative by using literature study method. The data reasearch has been collected from library documents, primary and secondary data. This study is expected to discover the development of the hadith index book, including the methods and systematics used by the scholars in its compiling. The study finds that the existence of the hadith index book is a response from the scholars to the development of hadith codification. Its existence makes the easiness for hadith reviewers to trace the Prophet's hadith referring to its primary source. In addition, hadith index books have a very close significance to hadith research, especially in the context of takhrîj al-ḥadîs.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive-qualitative study that discusses the practice and tradition of reading the manakib of Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani which is carried out every selapanan (thirty-five days in the Javanese calendar), more precisely every Kliwon Friday night at the Nurul Qur'an Pakunden Islamic Boarding School in Ponorogo. The living hadith approach is used to find receptions for the students related to the normative text that underlies these activities, with interview techniques as a data collection method. This research focuses on the study of how the practice of implementing activities, what factors influence the practice, and how these practices can affect the diversity of the students. The conclusions of this study are: 1) the practice of reading manakib in the Nurul Qur'an Islamic boarding school is a religious tradition that has been implemented for a long time, which is about thirty years since the boarding school was founded, although in the course of the pesantren program, this activity had experienced a vacuum due to the change of management which had an impact on the absence of a special program as a forum for this activity. 2) there are two hadiths as the normative basis for the implementation of the tradition. 3) the tradition of reading the manakib is a forum and means for the caregivers and administrators to instill discipline in the students in the hope that they can preserve the tradition when they are struggling in their respective areas

Abstract

This article examines the quality of the popular hadith about Isra 'Mi'raj contained in the book Dardir 'Ala Qishatul Mi'raj. This hadith is often used by preachers without first examining the quality of the hadith. This problem is then investigated through library research. In processing the data the author uses the takhrij al-hadith method, which is tracing the hadith that the author will examine into the original source in order to find out how the quality of the hadith studied is. The results of this study explain that the quality of the hadith which consists of three popular hadiths about Isra' Mi'raj contained in the book Dardir 'Ala Qishatul Mi'raj is of Hasan quality. The syarah of the hadith reveals that there has been a cleavage of the Prophet's chest which was then filled with faith and wisdom, the command to pray and about Sidratul Muntaha at which time the Prophet was given three things, namely the command to pray, closing the letter Al-Baqarah and forgiveness of sins for those who do not associate Allah Swt.

Abstract

Abstract

The dehumanization of women in the religious framework in the media is in the form of defining women as "free" human beings. The narrative is strongly framed because it is socialized by the da'i (male) and the da'iyah. There have not been many studies that have paid attention to the substance of religion, how the da'iyah (women preachers) are actively and massively involved in delivering their da'wah material which translates women, not as creatures that need to be humanized based on religious doctrine through the lectures of three da'iyah Mamah Dedeh (Dedeh Rosdiana); dr. Aisyah Dahlan and Dr. Oki Setiana Dewi through the youtube channel in six contents. Three questions were posed: (1) How are (religious) values regarding the dehumanization of women presented in religious lectures in the media; (2) How is the role of da'iyah in influencing the dehumanization of women; (3) How is the media contestation in religious lectures that do not humanize women. Misinterpretations in the form of dehumanization of women by the da'iyah are generally caused by a literal, partial, and superficial reading of religious doctrines. Therefore, although it is realized that the ideology of the media is never in line with religious values that are humanist and full of moral messages, religious lectures in the media need to be studied carefully, so that religious messages that are "more humane for women" through the media are not denied.

Abstract

This article categorized as a netnographic study that refers to uploads on the TikTok platform with various kinds of discussions in the name of the prophet's Hadits or Sunnah. Therefore, the three questions proposed are: 1) how does the Hadits in the TikTok experience a change in function? 2) How efficient is TikTok in conveying the prophet’s teachings? 3) What are the motivations that trigger users to upload content based on the prophet's Hadits? By conducting the content analysis of this study, it could be conclude that: 1) the Hadits which have spread on TikTok have changed their function, which originally served as a bayan, have now become certain tools for certain purposes, 2) in that narrow space, the prophet's Hadits could not be delivered comprehensively and completely because the facilities provided by TikTok could not accommodate all explanations so that siltation appears, 3) the wide range and the availability of features that support the transaction process contribute the creation of a massive commodification process. In addition, this paper also reviews the transfiguration of pretensions which are implied in the TikTok circulation chain. Some of these things denoted that the hadits circulating on the TikTok have problems that could not be ignored.

Abstract

The meaning of the concept of tawassul shows various forms of traditions that developed in Banjarese society. One of its forms is the reading of ya Tarim wa ahlaha which is widely found in various circles. The forms of experience are varied, the first is read as a prayer in a congregation or read privately, the second is written and pasted in various places, such as restaurants, shops, and other business places to make the business smooth, in demand, and given convenience with the wasilah reading. This study aims to reveal aspects of living hadith in the experience of this tawassul practice in Banjarese society. This research uses ethnographic methods that are descriptive-qualitative. The purpose of this method is to understand other ways of life from the point of view of society. The data collection studies used are using observation, interviews, and documentation using an anthropological approach. This approach is important to use in the study of living hadith to make it easier for researchers to photograph as they are about the dimensions of beliefs, beliefs, rituals, and traditions holistically, and not to lead researchers to justify a practice that is being carried out by society.
