Suicide is an event in society that is often inevitable. Suicide is a deliberate end to life. Social symptoms in society greatly affect someone in committing suicide. Referring to Durkheim, there are at least four types of suicide, namely egoistic suicide, suicide altruism, anomie suicide, and fatalistic suicide. Egoistic suicide is a suicide that occurs because social integration is too weak. Suicide altruism is a suicide that occurs because social integration is too strong. Anomie suicide is a suicide that occurs because of the blurring of values and norms in society. Fatalistic suicide is a suicide that occurs because the values and norms that apply in society are too excessive. Suicidal acts that occur in the community can be mapped through the fact that social integration is getting stronger or weaker. In addition, suicide can also be mapped based on the fact that the values and norms are getting weaker or stronger.

This paper aims to provide an overview of Indonesia's social, political and economic conditions at the beginning of the 20th century. Changes in the movement of history are marked by the emergence of political resistance and revolutionary movements, including the establishment of the Islamic nationalist movement represented by the Sarekat Islam, the radical nationalist movement represented by Indische Partij and Insulinde, and the Marxist Communist Party of the Dutch East Indies. This study uses a library study method to explain the constellation of the movement of anti-colonialism in the Smelserian perspective. This research shows that social movements in Indonesia at the beginning of the 20th century arose due to dissatisfaction with existing social structures. Indisce Partij, for example, dared to declare itself a political party for all ethnic groups in Indonesia and collaborated with Sarikat Islam which was a large Islamic organization at that time. Likewise with the emergence of the communist movement which was initially brought in by a handful of Dutch people, it began to dare to voice its demands more radically in opposing Dutch imperialism and capitalism in Indonesia. This is the embryos of political resistance which color the constellation of the history of the Indonesian people towards their ideals of independence.

This article aims to analyze public consumption actions as a practice model that will create a new model in understanding consumption patterns to become consumptive. The pattern of public consumption in its development has shifted due to the availability of modern technology and facilities. The approach used in this paper is library research, with data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis with the aim of obtaining valid inferences and can be re-examined based on the context. the presence of technology as a representation of facilities in meeting needs is able to encourage the creation of social change, such as the spread of consumerism culture, changes in dress and lifestyle modes where these conditions are institutionalized in the cultural structure of society so that consumption of goods is not based solely on the logic of needs, but will include substantial someone's emotions. The situation systematically shifts traditional values and leads to global behavior. Consumption towards the construction of consumptive society is a conceptual and historical illustration for all of us to further understand the shifting consumption into consumptive practices.
