Abstract

The transformation of higher education in the digital era has shifted learning paradigms toward more flexible, adaptive, and work-integrated systems. This shift is evident in the growing number of working students, including those at Ngurah Rai University, who simultaneously navigate academic and professional responsibilities. However, the flexibility offered by institutions does not always align with the quality of learning experiences perceived by students, creating significant challenges in fostering student satisfaction and loyalty. This study aims to critically explore the relationship between satisfaction and loyalty among working students at Ngurah Rai University within the context of flexible higher education, while identifying key strategic factors influencing both constructs. This research adopts a qualitative approach using a systematic literature review (SLR) method, analyzing recent national and international scholarly publications over the past five years (2020–2025). Data were analyzed through thematic analysis to identify patterns, relationships, and research gaps relevant to the characteristics of working students. The findings reveal that working student satisfaction at Ngurah Rai University is a multidimensional construct influenced by learning flexibility, the quality of academic and administrative services, curriculum relevance to labor market demands, and the quality of academic interaction. Learning flexibility emerges as a dominant factor; however, its effectiveness depends on interactive pedagogical design and meaningful student engagement. Furthermore, satisfaction significantly influences student loyalty, which is reflected in long-term commitment, emotional attachment, and positive word-of-mouth intentions. Nevertheless, this relationship is dynamic and mediated by perceived value and overall learning experience. The study also identifies a gap between the implementation of flexible learning systems and the actual needs of working students. Therefore, Ngurah Rai University is required to undertake not only structural but also pedagogical transformation through the adoption of more adaptive, contextual, and experience-based student-centered learningapproaches. This study contributes theoretically to higher education management literature and offers practical implications for institutions in designing sustainable strategies to enhance working student satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

A well-functioning organization is one that consistently adopts positive habits, allowing them to evolve into an adaptive and service-oriented work culture. However, in the context of digital public services in Indonesia, there are still organizations that maintain poor habits to the extent that they develop into a cultural crisis. This study aims to analyze the forms of organizational culture crisis in the implementation of digital public services through the Digital Population Identity (IKD) application, as well as to identify the factors that hinder its effectiveness. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques conducted through a literature review, supported by an analysis of public reviews on the Google Play Store platform as empirical evidence of service conditions. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the organizational culture crisis in the implementation of IKD is manifested in four forms. The inhibiting factors, as well as their impacts, include a decline in the quality of digital services, the obstruction of the bureaucratic reform agenda, and an increased burden on the public. This study emphasizes that the success of digital transformation in public services cannot be achieved without a systemic, adaptive, and sustainable transformation of organizational culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of smart financial training on human resource (HR) development among students of SMK Al-Afsar Karangnunggal. The research employs a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data were collected through pre-test and post-test questionnaires involving 60 respondents, while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews and observations of 30 students. The quantitative analysis used a paired sample t-test, whereas qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ financial literacy, as reflected by an increase in the mean score from 62.4 to 81.7 with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). Furthermore, behavioral changes were observed, including improved saving habits, budgeting practices, and controlled spending behavior. Smart financial training contributes to the enhancement of students’ cognitive, affective, and behavioral competencies, as well as their work readiness and economic independence. This study recommends integrating financial literacy into vocational education curricula to strengthen human resource quality.

Abstract

This study investigates the optimization of fermentation time and temperature to improve tempe quality produced by household-scale artisans in Padaringan Village, Purwadadi District, Ciamis Regency, Indonesia. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through direct observation over four consecutive days, with measurements recorded every three hours for temperature, relative humidity, and physical–sensory characteristics of tempe. The results demonstrate that fermentation follows a biological progression consisting of adaptation, active growth, optimal maturation, and degradation phases. During the first 24 hours, microbial adaptation and early mycelial growth occurred under temperatures of 27–32°C and humidity levels of 72–91%, producing soft texture and mild aroma. Optimal quality was achieved between 24–48 hours at stable temperatures of 27–29°C and humidity of 80–88%, characterized by uniform white mycelium, compact texture, and pleasant characteristic aroma. Beyond 48 hours, quality gradually declined as metabolic degradation intensified, indicated by texture softening, discoloration, and sharper odor. By 72–96 hours, tempe entered a post-optimal phase unsuitable for consumption. These findings confirm that fermentation duration is the most practical control factor for maintaining consistent quality in traditional production systems. Adjusting fermentation time according to environmental conditions provides an effective, low-cost strategy to enhance product quality, stability, and competitiveness among small-scale tempe producers.

Abstract

Abstract

Cost behavior is not always symmetric in response to changes in business activity. Sticky cost phenomenon occurs when costs increase more when sales rise than they decrease when sales fall, potentially reducing a company’s efficiency and profitability. This study aimed to analyze sticky cost behavior in selling costs and general and administrative costs among Consumer Non-Cyclicals companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2022–2024. A quantitative method with an associative approach was employed. Purposive sampling yielded 86 sample companies with 248 observations. Hypotheses were tested using multiple linear regression with an interaction variable as the primary sticky cost indicator. The results indicate that neither selling costs nor general and administrative costs exhibit significant sticky cost behavior. Both hypotheses are rejected, suggesting that companies in this sector tend to be flexible in adjusting operating costs in response to changes in sales revenue.
