Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has an impact on industry in Indonesia. One of the industries affected by Covid 19 is the coffee shop industry. The existence of the Covid 19 pandemic caused uncertainty in the sale of coffee products which caused the coffee shop to have difficulty determining raw materials for the next period. To overcome this problem, forecasting is needed to determine the raw material needs in the form of coffee beans. This study aims to predict the number of best-selling products in "Kopi Titik" coffee. Namely coffee milk, Americano and Capuccino so that the company can get an idea of the number of product sales in the coming period. In addition, companies can also place orders with suppliers so that the raw material needs to fulfill best seller products can be met. The method used in this research is quantitative forecasting, that is forecasting that uses past data to determine future needs. The results obtained from this study are the best seller coffee sales pattern at the Point Coffee Cafe, namely a trend pattern which then uses the double exponential smoothing method with one parameter (Des Brown) and two parameter (Des Holt) approaches; MAPE from the forecast results is 0.268285274% for milk coffee, 0.36874754% for americano and 0.389056107% for cappuccino. The forecast results for the next 5 months are 3498 cups with details of 1920 cups of milk coffee, 754 glasses of americano and 824 cups of cappuccino.

Abstract

Kotoran ternak dapat dimanfaatkan untuk sesuatu yang lebih berharga seperti pupuk organik dan energi alternatif. Kotoran ternak termasuk kotoran sapi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pembuatan briket. Pembriketan merupakan salah satu solusi dalam pemanfaatan kotoran ternak. Untuk membuat briket diperlukan alat pencetak manual yang dapat dioperasikan oleh satu orang. Penelitian dimulai dengan perancangan alat menggunakan Software Autodesk Invertor Profesional 2015. Tujuan perancangan ini supaya dihasilkan alat pencetak briket yang praktis dan sederhana namun tetap kuat menopang daya tekan operator. Alat pencetak briket ini memiliki bentuk yang simple dan mudah dipindah dan tidak memakan banyak tempat. Setelah alat cetak briket selesai dirancang kemudian dilanjutkan pada tahap pembuatan alat tersebut.  Dimulai dari memotong bahan, mengelas kemudian merakit semua bagian-bagian. Kemudian dilakukan pengujian fungsional dan dilanjutkan ke proses pembuatan briket. Alat cetak briket manual ini dapat menghasilkan 4 buah briket silinder dengan waktu 25 detik/cetakan dan dapat menghasilkan 28,48 kg briket per jam. Kadar air pada briket-briket tersebut adalah sebesar 25,4%. Selain itu alat pencetak briket ini memiliki dimensi ukuran tinggi 40 cm panjang 25 cm dan lebar 15 cm, dengan begitu alat ini mudah di pindah-pindah.

Abstract

Recognize the importance of employee satisfaction in any organization, this study is piloted to forestall the effect of Internal Marketing Practice and Market Sensing capability on employees’ satisfaction in the context of the Indonesian textile industry as one of the fast-growing industry criteria in Asian markets. The drive behind this study is to examine the relationship between Internal marketing practice, Market Sensing Capability, and Employee Satisfaction. Furthermore, this study plans to see that how Cultural congruence moderates the relationship between Employee Satisfaction through Internal Marketing Practice along with Market Sensing Capability by advancing a research model. According to this study’s requirement, the quantitative methodology is chosen, with purposive method of 323 employees was selected and analyzed.  By using a web-based survey approach was selected for data, entailing of structured questionnaire. A structural equation model was operated for results on AMOS that supported the hypothetical relationship between all hypotheses. This study will guide the managers of textile firms to recognize that how important is employee satisfaction and how they can improve their practices to strengthen employee satisfaction. This study also contributes in cultural Congruence and market sensing capability literature. It is not free from limitations specifically in terms of sample size and variables that can be addressed in the future.

Abstract

Many attempts to reduce the volume of Sidoarjo mudflow that came out, one of which is the use of Sidoarjo mud for making bricks. The results of research in the chemical laboratory show that the Sidoarjo mud mineral content is mostly silica and alumina minerals, so it is very supportive for use as a material for making bricks. Making bricks requires mixed materials, one of which is paper sludge. Paper sludge waste is discharged from the paper industry, which can pollute the environment if it is discharged directly into the environment. Therefore, a solution is needed by utilizing the potential of the sludge waste. One of them is by using paper sludge as an additive in making bricks, because most of the components of paper sludge waste are calcium carbonate. In building materials, calcium carbonate can function as an additive so that paper sludge waste can be used as an additional material in making bricks. The purpose of this study is to determine the best ratio of Sidoarjo mud with paper sludge to the quality of the bricks, find out the best combustion temperature to the quality of the bricks produced, and compare the quality of the bricks before and after burning. The bricks are synthesized with a variation of the ratio of Sidoarjo mud raw material and paper sludge (1: 0, 1: 1, 2: 1, 3: 1) and variations in combustion temperature (no combustion, 400°C, 450°C, 500°C, 750°C, 900°C). In this study, the best quality of bricks according to SNI is 2: 1 ratio bricks with a combustion temperature of 750 ° C. The ratio of 2: 1 brick with a combustion temperature of 750°C has a percentage of water absorption of 17.17% and compressive strength of 37.78 kg / cm2.
