Abstract. This research was conducted to find out banking risk with Altman Z Score on conventional banks listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of conventional banks during the period 2003-2016 contained in the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The focus of research (research focuses) on the topic that has been studied is the risk of banking based on Altman Z Score. Of the four studies examined, the equation is all research using quantitative research approach. It means to assess the Altman Z-Score in observing banking risk, the quantitative approach is the most appropriate approach.Of the four studies, the results show banking risk with Altman Z Score, from 2003-2016 the banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange are generally in the category of bankrupt. However, Ganesha et al (2012) study shows the Z value model in 2003-2006 can not show a good enough accuracy level when measured per year. Irwansyah's research (2017) shows that in the period 2013-2016, only one bank, namely Bank Jtrust Indonesia Tbk (BCIC bank code) entered into the healthy category. In addition, Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk with BMRI bank code, has started to increase from the predicted category of bankruptcy to the prediction of gray area category.

Abstract

The capital market has a strategic role to strengthen the economic resilience of a country and as a favorable alternative investment destination. Capital markets have an important role to the economy of a country because the capital market runs two functions, namely economic function and financial function. The capital market becomes a driver of the national economy through its role as a source of corporate financing and an alternative for investors to invest. In the capital market, the Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) plays an important role, because this index can be a barometer of economic health in a country. Macroeconomic factors such as high inflation, interest rates and depreciation of the rupiah against the dollar will lower stock prices. This study aims to examine the effect of macroeconomic factors such as inflation and interest rates on the composite stock price index (IHSG) in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).The analysis method using multiple linear regression analysis model. The data used in this study is the monthly secondary data period 2013-2016. This study used 36 samples. The structural equation for this multiple linear regression analysis is Y = -382,192 X1 + 278,977 X2.The inflation and interest rate / BI Rate variable can explain the JCI in this multiple linear regression analysis model of 4.9%. The correlation between variable inflation and interest rate / BI Rate to JCI of 0.322 is quite strong. From the calculation, F arithmetic <F table (1.907 <8.92), it can be concluded there is no linear relationship between inflation, interest rate / BI Rate and exchange rate against JCI.

Abstract

Genarlli, the main goal of a company is to maximize its shareholders’ wealth. For a public company, it means maximizing return to its outstanding shares. The final decisions made by the management, which comprise of investment decision and financing decision. Real estate industry is a capital-intensive industry that would spend large fund to start the operations. Consequently, most real estate companies would search and rely upon loan from third parties as its main financing source other than its own capital. The objective of this research is to reveal whether there is influence of cost of borrowing, profitability, and collateral value of assets on capital structure.Th hypothesis for this research are: (a) to reveal whether there is influence of cost of borrowing on capital structure in real estate companies in Indonesia, (b) to reveal whether there is influence of profitability on capital structure in real estate companies in Indonesia, (c) to reveal whether there is influence of collateral value of assets on capital structure in real estate companies in Indonesia, and (d) to reveal whether there is influence of cost of borrowing, profitability and collateral value of assets, simultaneously, on capital structure in real estate companies in Indonesia.Using multiple linear regressions to test those hypotheses, the data obtained from real estate companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2003-2007 revealed that: (a) there is negative and significant influence of cost of borrowing on capital structure in real estate companies in Indonesia, (b) there is positive and significant influence of profitability on capital structure in real estate companies in Indonesia, (c) there is positive and significant influence of collateral value of assets on capital structure in real estate companies in Indonesia, and (d) there is  significant influence of cost of borrowing, profitability and collateral value of assets, simultaneously, on capital structure in real estate companies in Indonesia. The result of this research indicated that cost of borrowing is the factor that significantly determines the capital structure. Obtaining loan from third parties would result higher interest expenses, and in turn result in low net income, compared to companies that use their own source of financing. Of course, the decision to finance a company through loan facilities should be based on in-depth analysis and calculation especially in relation to the company’s capability for settlement.

Through the significance test using the F distribution, obtained Significance calculated F of 0.000 ( < 0.05 ) . This means that H0 is accepted or rejected H1. And the value of the coefficient of determination obtained with SPSS calculation amounted to 0.718. This indicates that 71.8 % of this value indicates that the total variation influences all independent variables to variable Quality Customer / Students. The use of analysis method is based on multiple linear regressive method as well as hypothetical linear examination. Operated by the usage of SPSS program ver.17.0. The writer’s research object goes to satisfaction in work , work motivation and its influence towards the work performance of the employees of Grand  Raya Resort and Convention Hotel Cipayung Bogor. The research population has taken into the entrie employee of Grand Raya Resort and Convention Hotel Cipayung Bogor with the total number of 137 employees. To  determine the research sample, the writer used stratified random sampling with the total determine of 58 respondents.  The SPSS  ver.17 .0 program obstained coefficient determination result  R-Square / R2 = 0,669 at the level α = 5%. where the examination towards determined coefficient done by  “test-F” resulted smaller probability than use of examination done in research  ( Sig. < α or 0,000 < 0,05 due to the equality model of multiple regressive Y = - 193.543 + 4.888X1 + 2.184X2. The abovementioned  result indicates that simultaneous satisfaction in work and work motivation will influence the work performance at the same moment, it has been  proven that the third hypotesis has mentioned abviously that satisfaction in work and work motivation at the same time will simultaneously be influencing the employee’s work performance.
