Abstract

The purpose of this study is(1) to determine the level of students writing skill on text fable of grade VII at SMP Negeri 31 Padang before using problem based learning model with picture series. Abstract

In this study, theoretical concept of discovery learning are reviewed the influence of discovery learning style use media audiovisual to assist  students writing skill Anecdote text at X grade of SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Gumanti. The data collections of this study are results of use Anecdote writing skill text between an experiment and control class. The process of collecting data are use extend of learning anecdote skill text by discovery learning style with media audiovisual assistant both an experiment class. Test by anecdote writing skill text work show on students. The writing Anecdote skill text between an experiment and control class was researcher used to show there comparisons among the influence of discovery learning style with assist audiovisual media accompanying hypothesis experiment abbreviation.  The results of this study showed that  (1) using Anecdote writing skill text at students X Grade of SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Gumanti without use discovery learning style with assist media audiovisual have qualification kind. (2) That anecdote writing skill text at students X Grade of SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Gumanti without use discovery learning style with assist media audiovisual also have qualification kind. (3) Based on abbreviation hypothesis experiment there are significant conclusions of influence toward discovery learning style with assist media audiovisual on anecdote skill writing text on students learning process of SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Gumanti.   Kata kunci: Pengaruh, model discovery learning berbantuan media audiovisual, menulis teks anekdot

Abstract

This article is written to find out the effect of copy the master technique toward the ability of writing procedure text by seventh grade students at MTsN Lubuk Buaya Kota Padang. The data of this research is the scores of the ability of writing procedure text. The data is collected by giving performance test of the ability of writing procedure text on samples before and after using copy the master technique. The ability of writing procedure text before and after using copy the master technique is compared to see the effect by using the formula of t-test. The result of the research show that (1) the ability of writing procedure text before using copy the master technique is on more than adequate qualification (LdC); (2) the ability of writing procedure text after using copy the master technique is on good qualification (B); and (3) based on t-test result, it is concluded that there is a significant effect between the using of copy the master technique toward the ability of writing procedure text by seventh grade students at MTsN Lubuk Buaya Kota Padang. Kata kunci:  pengaruh, teknik copy the master, keterampilan menulis teks prosedur

Abstract

The purpose of this study consists of three things as follows. First, describe the skill of reading comprehension of drama script of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Padang. Second, describe the skill of writing drama script of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Padang. Third, analyze the skill of reading comprehension of drama script with skill of writing script of drama of student of class VIII SMP Negeri 13 Padang. Based on the results of data analysis concluded three things as follows. First, the skill of reading comprehension of play script of class VIII drama of SMP Negeri 13 Padang is in Good qualification (B) with average count 80,65. Second, the skill of writing the script of the drama of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Padang is in Good qualification (B) with average count 81,67. Third, based on t-test results, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted at 95% confidence level and degrees of freedom (dk) = n-2 because tcount> ttable (6.54> 1.70).Kata Kunci:  korelasi, keterampilan membaca pemahaman naskah drama, menulis  naskah drama.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the value of character education in the novel Tentang Kamu by Tere Liye. This research data is in the form of words, phrases, sentences, and discourse that displays events and figures that indicate the values of character education contained in Tere Liye's novel Tentang Kamu. The source of this research data is Tere Liye's novel Tentang Kamu. Data are collected by reading and understanding, inventorying, interpreting, classifying and summarizing data relating to the character education values in Tere Liye's novel Tentang Kamu and based on apresiasif reading. The research findings are the value of character education found in the novel Tentang Kamu by Tere Liye as much as 155 data. Kata Kunci: nilai, pendidikan, karakter, implikasi

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe following three aspects. First, describing the level of skills to understanding the text of short stories of Semen Padang Senior High School grade XI Students. Second, describing the level of skill of writing short story text of Semen Padang Senior High School grade XI Students. Third, describe the relationship between the skills to understand short story text and the skills to write short story text of Semen Padang Senior High School grade XI Students. Based on the results of data analysis concluded the following three points. First, the skill to understand short story text of Semen Padang Senior High School grade XI Students is in Good qualification (B) with average count 78.03. Second, the skill of writing short story text of Semen Padang Senior High School grade XI Students is in Good qualification (B) with average count 79,12. Third, based on t-test results, alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted at 95% confidence level and derajat kebebasan  (dk) = n-1 because thitung  > ttabel (8,81 > 1,70).Kata Kunci : hubungan, keterampilan, memahami, menulis, tes cerita pendek.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the type and function of the language style contained in the novel Jejak Langkah by Prameodya Ananta Toer. This research is a type of qualitative research using descriptive method. The style of language described there are two groups, namely rhetorical style and figurative style of language. Three types of data contained in this research, the style of rhetorical language, figurative language style and language style functions in the novel Jejak Langkah by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Data is collected by reading the novel Jejak Langkah repeatedly, identifying, classifying and inventorying the language styles contained in the novel Footsteps. The findings of the research, in Pramoedya Ananta Toer's Jejak Langkah novel, found 602 styles of language as well as the language styles contained in the novel Tramps of Pramoedya Ananta Toer found in five types of fungsi style.Kata kunci: gaya bahasa, novel

Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) to describe the skills of writing the text of the procedures of the students of class VII of SMP Negeri 12 Padang without using the audiovisual media aided discovery learning model. (2) to describe the skills of writing the text of the procedure of class VII students of SMP Negeri 12 Padang by using discovery learning model audiovisual media.
