Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the effect of  the use of copy the master to the  skill of writing poetry in class VIII at Junior High School 30 Padang. The kind of this research is quantitative research with experiment metode. The results of the research there are three. First, the skills of writing a poetry in class VIII SMP Negeri Padang 30 without the use of copy the master qualification either (B) with an average value of 80,39. Second, the skills of writing poetry in class VIII SMP Negeri Padang 30 by using of copy the master on the qualifications of either (B) with an average value of 84,64.  Third, based on the t-test results, it was concluded that the alternative hypothesis (H1) received on the standard of 95% and dk = (n1 + n2)-2 due tcount> ttable(1,78> 1,67). Kata kunci: pengaruh, teknik tiru model, menulis puisi

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to describe the effectiveness of the sentence in the text of exposition of class VII students of MTsS Diniyah Pandai Sikek in terms of accuracy of reasoning include (a) logical ideas and (b) unity of ideas, 2) describe the effectiveness of the sentences in the expositional text of the seventh grade students of MTsS Diniyah Pandai Sikek in terms of language accuracy including (a) grammar, (b) exact words, and (c) exact spelling. The method in this research is descriptive method. Sources of research data are 19 texts written by students. The research findings are 10 effective sentences and 155 ineffective sentences of 165 sentences examined. Kata kunci: kalimat efektif, teks eksposisi

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe the influence of problem based learning model towards the skills of wriring the observation report on 7th grader students in SMP Negeri 24 Padang. It was quantitative research and using experiment method. This research was designed using two groups-static. The instrument of this research was performance test and the data was collected using the same test. The data used in this research was the score of performance test from writing the observation report. Based on the result, the use of problem based learning model affects the skills of writing the observation report on 7th grader students in SMP Negeri 24 Padang. Kata kunci: model problem based learning, keterampilan menulis, taks laporan hasil observasi

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effect of the use mind mapping technique, toward students’ ability in speaking at SMP Negeri 16 Padang. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. There are three results of the research are (1) the students’ ability in speaking without using mind mapping technique at SMP Negeri 16 Padang is low and grades LdC with average 66.78, (2) the students’ ability in speaking with using mind mapping technique at SMP Negeri 16 Padang is high and grades B with average 81.78, and (3) based on t-test, alternative hypothesis (H­1) is gained at the significant phase 5% and degrees of freedom (df) = (n1+n2)-2 because tcount> ttable (7,23 > 1,71). Kata kunci: pengaruh, teknik mind mapping, keterampilan berbicara

Abstract

This article was written to describe the influence of cooperative learning TPS concerning short story writing skill of class X students of SMAN 15 Padang. The data of this research were the result of the short story writing final test. The data were collected by giving short story writing test through cooperative learning  TPS and without cooperative learning TPS. The hipotesis tested by using test-t formula. The result indicated that (1) the arithmetic average of the students’ short story writing skills pretest 72,91; (2) the arithmetic average of the students’ short story writing skills posttest were 80,69; and (3) according to test-t’s result, can be concluded that there was a significant influence of the used of cooperative learning TPS to the short story writing skill of class X students of SMAN 15 Padang.  Kata kunci: pengaruh, TPS, menulis cerpen

Abstract

This article aim to find out the effect of modeling technique based on problem based learning method toward news writing skill for student at class VIII SMPN 15 Padang. Data in this study was score of news writing skill. Data was obtained by testing student to write news before and after application of problem based learning model at school. News writing skill before and after application of problem based learning model was compared to see the effect of the model by use of t-test equation. Study fining showed that: 1) news writing skill before application of problem based learning model was in level of above-moderate; 2) news writing skill after application of problem based learning model was in level of good; and 3) based on t-test, it was concluded that there was a significant effect of problem based learning model toward news writing skill for student at class VIII SMPN 15 Padang. Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Teknik pemodelan berbasis model Problem Based Learning, Keterampilan menulis berita.

Abstract

There are three purposes of this research. First, to know writing skill level of moral / fable story before using cooperative learning model think pair share. Second, to know writing skill level of moral/ fable by using cooperative learning model of think pair share. Third, describe the influence of the use cooperative learning model of think pair share toward writing skill of moral/fable story text. The type of the research is quantitative with quasi-experimental methods. Abstract

This article is written to find out the application of language in student’s   description text at class VII.6 SMPN 25 Padang. Data in this study was language application in student’s description text at class VII.6 SMPN 25 Padang. Data source was student’s description text and sample was taken by purposive sampling technique to determine data source. Study instrument was writer and assisted with tables inventory data. Study finding shows that: first, student’s description text at class VII.6 SMPN 25 Padang mostly using general and location pronominal, and one student using feature pronominal. Second, most student using prefix and suffix in their description text, no student using infix, and two students do not use affix/confix. Third, mostly students using all types of phrases; only few of them do not completely use their phrase. Eleven students do not use nominative phrase in description text; twelve students do not use verb phrase in description text; five students do not use numeric phrase in description text; five students do not use adverb phrase in description text; and writer finds out that all students using preposition in their description text. Kata kunci: penggunaan bahasa, teks deskripsi, karya siswa kelas VII.6

Abstract

 The purpose of this study is (1) to determine the level of skill of writing disscusion text of grade VIII of MTs Negeri Muara Bungo before using  problem based learning model with diorama media. (2) to determine the level of  writing’s skill on disscusion text of  grade VIII  of  MTs Negeri Muara Bungo after using  problem based learning model with diorama media. (3) analyze the effect application problem based learning model with diorama media assisted to the skill of writing disscusion text in grade VIII students of MTs Negeri Muara Bungo. This type of research is quantitative experimental method.
