ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this research is three. First, describing the reading skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. Secondly, it describes the writing skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. Third, describing the contribution of reading skills of anecdotal text to the writing skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. This type of research is quantitative by a descriptive method. The design used in this study is design contributions. The population of this study is the XI MA Negeri 3 class students enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, with 250 students. The samples in this study were determined by simple random sampling 25% of the population, which is 61 students. This research Data in the form of scores of test skills reads the understanding of anecdotal text and scores test results of anecdotal text. The Data is obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the reading skills of anecdotal text and test performance to measure anecdotal text writing skills. The results of this study were three. First, the reading skills of understanding anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang are in good qualification (B) with an average value of 85.09. Secondly, the writing skills of anecdote-class students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang are on a good qualifying (BS) with an average of 86.13. Thirdly, there is a contribution of the reading skills of anecdotal text to the writing skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang amounted to 17.56%.Â Kata Kunci:Kontribusi, Keterampilan, Membaca Pemahaman, Menulis, Teks Anekdot

ABSTRACTÂ This article is written to describe the correlation of the apreciprocative reading skills with the writing skills of the short-text student class XI MAN 3 Padang. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive methods and correlational design. This research sample amounted to 49 people. This research data is in the form of scores of apreciprocative reading skills tests and scores of test-writing skills for short-story text. The data, obtained through two types of tests, is an objective test to measure the test of apresiative reading skills and test performance to measure the writing skills of short story text. Based on data analysis and discussion, the following three things are concluded. First, the skill of reading the appreciative of class XI MAN students 3 Padang is in good qualification (78.81). Secondly, the writing skills of the text of the student's class XI MAN 3 Padang is in good qualification (81.04). Thirdly, there is a significant connection between the apresiative reading skills with the writing skills of the short-text short story at a significantly 95% level with dk = n-1. Based on the results of the research and analysis of data, it was concluded that there is a significant link between the reading skills of the appreciative with the writing skills of the text students of Class XI MAN 3 Padang because thitungÂ > ttabelÂ is 3.12 > 1.67. In other words, to write short story text is required apresiative reading skill.Kata kunci:Â Korelasi, Membaca, Menulis, Teks Cerpen

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this study was categorized into three. First, to describe the effective sentence mastery of the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Second, to describe the writing skills of a exposition of the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Third, to describe the contribution of the effective sentence mastery into the writing skills of a exposition text made by the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang. The design of this research was quantitative with a descriptive method. Then, this study also was a correlational design. The population of this study was the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang for about 498 students. The sample of this study was taken by using a proportional random sampling technique (15%), which was 70 students. The data of this study were the results of effective sentence mastery and the results of the writing skill of a exposition text. The instrument of this study was an objective test to measure effective sentence mastery and performance tests to measure expositon text. There were several results of this study. First, the effective sentence mastery of the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang was in Good qualifications (B). Second, the writing skills of a exposition of the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang was in a Good qualification (B). Third, describe the effective sentence mastery contributed 82,00% to the exposition text writing skills of the first year students of SMK Negeri 2 Padang.Â Kata Kunci: kontribusi, penguasaan kalimat efektif,Â keterampilan menulis teks eksposisiÂ

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this research are three (1) types of authentic assessment used by teachers in Indonesian language subjects in SMA Negeri 1 Painan, (2) Â conformity assessment between teacher done authentic language subjects Indonesia in SMA Negeri 1 Painan and theory on the curriculum of 2013, and Â (3) the obstacles faced by Indonesian language teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Painan. This research type is qualitative research using descriptive method. Data collection techniques were conducted by observation, interview, and documentation study. Based on research findings and research results can be concluded the following three things. (1) Overall type of authentic assessment has been used by Indonesian teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Painan. (2) Overall the appropriateness between authentic assessment of Indonesian language teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Painan and the theory that existed in the Curriculum 2013 is good. Pthere is a component of the understanding of the process and the assessment of learning based on data obtained in the study is categorized well. Indonesian language teacher SMA Negeri 1 Painan already understand the process and assessment of learning well. In the component of the implementation of the assessment of learning based on the data obtained in the study categorized quite well. Indonesian language teacher SMA Negeri 1 Painan has conducted a fairly good learning appraisal.Â Kata kunci: Implementasi Penilaian Otentik, Bahasa Indonesia

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is three. First, describe the contribution of reading interest to the writing text description skills of class VII students ofÂ SMP Negeri 7 Padang. Second, describe the contribution of learning motivation to the writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Padang. Third, describe the contribution of reading interest and learning motivation together towards writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 7Â Padang. TheÂ type of this research is quantitative with descriptive methods. The design used in this research is correlational design. The population of this research was the seventh grade students of the SMP Negeri 7 Padang who were enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, which was 251 students. The sample in this research was determined by simple random sampling using the Slovin formula from the population, which is 40 students. The data of this Â research were scores on the results of filling in the reading interest questionnaire, the scores on the results of filling in the learning motivation questionnaire, and scores on the results of the test writing skills of the description text. The instrument of this research was a questionnaire to measure reading interest and student learning motivation and performance tests to measure description text writing skills. The results of this research are three. First, there is a contribution of reading interest towards the writing text description skills of 26,13%. Second, there is a contribution of learning motivation to the writing text description skills of 3,2%. Third, reading interest and learning motivation contribute to the writing text description skills of 30,25%. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to describe the effectiveness of the sentence in text of results of observations report of Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 17 Padang. The effectiveness is reviewed based on four indicators, namely (1) right reasoning, (2) right linguistic, (3) right words and terms, and (4) right spelling. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. This research was carried out at Padang 17 Public Middle School, which was considered important because it was an attempt to explore and understand the effectiveness of student sentences. The instrument in this study is the researcher himself. The results of this study revealed that the effectiveness of the text sentences from students' observations report can be said to be ineffective, it is 39 or 14% of 281 sentences. Based on the results of research on the effectiveness of the sentence in the text of observation report, it can be concluded into four things. First, students still commit errors in proper reasoning, namely regarding lodic ideas and unity of ideas. Secondly, students still commit errors in proper linguistics, namely regarding (1) placement of elements of syntactic functions correctly, (2) no missing sentence elements, (3) no redundant sentence elements, and (4) parallel sentence elements. Third, students still commit errors in the proper words and terms, namely regarding (1) right concepts, (2) right sense scores, (3) right collocation, and (4) right usage context. Fourth, students still commit errors in correct spelling, namely regarding (1) the use of letters, (2) writing words, and (3) use of punctuation .Â Kata kunci:Â Keefektifan Kalimat, Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi

ABSTRACTÂ This article reveals the contribution of mastery of the intrinsic elements to writing skills of the short storyÂ text grade students XI SMANÂ 2 Bukittinggi. The purpose of this research there are three. First, it describes the mastery of the intrinsic elements. Second, it describes the writing skills of the short story text. Third, describing the contribution of mastery of the intrinsic elements to writing skills of the short storyÂ text. This research type is quantitative, descriptive method, and design contribution. This research population is grade XI that are registered on the school year 2018/2019, i.e. as many as 311 students. The sample in this research are determined by proportional random sampling of 10% of the population, i.e. 30 students. The research data are scores as a result of mastering the intrinsic elements and the scores of writing skills from the short story text. The data obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the mastery of the instrinsic elements and performance tests to measure the skills of writing a short story text. The results of the research there are three. First, the mastery of the intrinsic elements are on good qualifications (B) by the value of the average 77,67. Second, the skills of writing text short story are on more than enough qualifications (LdC) with an average of 70,00. Third, there is a contribution of the intrinsic elements to writing skills of the short storyÂ text grade students XI SMANÂ 2 BukittinggiÂ at 66,26%.Â Kata kunci:Â Kontribusi, Penguasaan, Unsur Intrinsik,Â Keterampilan, Menulis, Teks Cerpen

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this study is to describe reading comprehension skills, exposition text writing skills, and correlation reading comprehension skills and exposition text writing skills of class X students of Padang Panjang High School. The results of this study are three, namely (1) reading comprehension skills of students of class X exposition in SMA Negeri 1 Padang Panjang are in good qualifications, with an average value (80.68), (2) writing skills of students exposition writing class X SMA Negeri 1 Padang Panjang is in good qualifications Â with an average grade (82.52), (3) there is a relationship between reading ability and writing exposition text skills in class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Padang Panjang, with degrees freedom n-1 at a 95% confidence level. T value (14.79) is greater than t table (0.168), that is tcount> t table (14.79> 1.68) so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the test results prove that t count is greater than t table. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the reading comprehension skills of the exposition text correlated with the writing skills of the exposition text. The better the reading comprehension skills of exposition text, the better the writing skills of exposition text.Â Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman, Keterampilan Menulis Teks EksposisiÂ Â Â

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this study were. (1)to describe the accuracy of diction in the news text of class VIII students of Â SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman. (2)to describe the precision of diction in the news text of class VIII students of Â SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. This research was conducted at Pariaman State Middle School 6. The data of this study are qualitative data in the form of news text diction. The source of this research data is text news writing for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman. The instrument of this research is the researchers themselves. The technique of collecting data is through documentation studies. The technique of validating the data in this study is the cross-check technique. The data are analyzed by steps, namely (1) the researcher identifies the diction contained in the news text, (2) analyzes the text based on the aspects studied, (3) analyzes the data based on the exact and accurate inaccuracies, and (4) makes conclusion.Â Kata kunci: Diksi, Ketepatan, Kecermatan, TeksÂ Berita
