Abstract

ABSTRACT This article reveals the types of characters and characterizations in the text of fantasy stories for Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 21 Padang. There are two objectives of this research. First, describe the types of characters that the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 21 Padang appear in in the text of the fantasy stories they write. Second, to describe the character presence techniques used by SMP Negeri 21 Padang students to bring out the character of the characters in the fantasy stories they write. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The main instrument of this research is the researcher himself. Data were collected using documentation techniques, which are still archived by Indonesian language subject teachers. There are two findings in this study, namely (1) the types of figures that students tend to appear in the text of the fantasy stories they write are fictional characters, additional characters, protagonists, white characters, flat characters, and static characters, but other types of characters. students still use them in the text of their fantasy stories, and (2) the techniques for the presence of figures that are often used by students are analytical techniques, action techniques, and word techniques. However, the students still use the technique of the presence of other figures. Kata kunci : tokoh, penokohan, teks cerita fantasi

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the structure of the text (orientation, complications, resolution), elements, and types of text contained in the  fantasy text stories written by students of class VII of  SMP Negeri 7 Padang. The data to be analyzed in the form of structure, elements, and type of text contained in the text of a fantasy story. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through three stages. First, researchers read and understand the text of fantasy stories. Second, researchers mark the sections related to the structure of the text, elements, and types of text of fantasy stories. Third, inventorying findings related to the structure, elements, and type of text into the data inventory format Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded three things as follows. First, in general students of class VII SMP 7 Padang have used the three text structures of fantasy stories. This is evident from the 48 fantasy story texts analyzed there are 2 fantasy story texts that do not have a complete structure. Second, students generally use six elements of fantasy story text. This is evident from the 48 fantasy texts analyzed which all have complete elements, namely themes, plot, characters and characterizations, settings, points of view, and mandates. Third, the type of fantasy story text is divided into two, namely (1) based on conformity with the real world, students are more likely to write slices of fantasy stories and (2) based on story settings, students tend to write stories over time, from the present to the past. Kata Kunci: Struktur, Teks Cerita Fantasi Tipe, Unsur

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe two things. First describes the feature of text fable students of Class VII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. Second, describe the spelling in the text fable the text of Class VII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. This research Data is the use of tasks in the text Fable class VII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. The data source in this study is fable text written in grade VII students. D SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang numbering 30 texts. Data is collected through documentation study methods or document utilization. The data analysis technique is done by five procedures. First, identify common elements of data. Secondly, it identifies the data based on the theory of reference. The identification of the data is done by creating the fable text and spelling characteristics identification format. Third, analyzing the data. Fourth, interpret the data that has been analyzed. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the following things. First, the values of Islamic morality expressed in the novel by Father Hirata Andrea. Second, the motives of the characters in having Islamic morality in the novel by Father Hirata Andrea. Third, the impact of having Islamic character on the characters in Andrea Hirata's Father's novel. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data used in this study are words, groups of words, and sentences that contain Islamic moral values. This research is sourced from the novel Father by Andrea Hirata. The instrumentation in this study is the researcher as the main instrument. Then, data collection is done using observation techniques. The results of the research in the novel Andrea Hirata's Father are as follows. First, there are 61 data on Islamic moral values in Andrea Hirata's father's novel, which is divided into two, namely 43 praiseworthy moral data and 18 sad moral data. Second, there are the motives of the characters to have Islamic morals consisting of two, namely internal motives and external motives. Third, the impact of having commendable and despicable morals for the characters in Andrea Hirata's Father's novel is also divided into two, namely positive and negative impacts.  Kata kunci : Nilai, Akhlak Islam, Novel Ayah

Abstract

Abstract Study mean to explain the following two things. First, it describes the moral values of the novel My Father, Not a lie by Tere Liye. Second, the behavior shown in the characters. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive methods. The data source in this study is the novel My Father, Not a lie by Tere Liye. The data in this study are in the form of statement sentences, dialogues, and paragraphs. Data collection techniques, namely reading and marking events through the character's speech and the behavior shown by the characters. Second, recording data about moral values found in this novel by looking at the character's speech. Third, inventory data using inventory data tables. The technique of validating the data used a detailed description technique. The research result shows the following matters. First, the moral values in the novel My Father, Not a lie by Tere Liye contain 63 units of events. Second, the behavior shown in the novel My Father, Not a lie by Tere Liye, good morals consists of 53 units of events, while the behavior of bad moral values consists of 10 units of events. Kata Kunci: Nilai, Moral, Novel, Implikasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to illustrate the following. First, describing the implementation of character education in write text of folk poetry in SMP Negeri 8 Padang including planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. Secondly, it describes the supporting and inhibiting factors of Indonesian language learning in SMP Negeri 8 Padang, which have character education. This research method is a combination of current triangulation design. The research sample was taken 25% with a proportional random sampling technique of 32 respondents. There are five results of this study. First, a learning plan consisting of a syllabus and a lesson plan (RPP) focuses on three character values, namely religious, creative, and collaboration. Second, the implementation of learning is supported by the results of interviews and the level of achievement of respondents preliminary activities (80.31%), core activities (77.43%), and closing activities (78.04%). Third, the assessment of learning shows an overall achievement level of 78.28% with a good category. Fourth, school programs, teachers, and facilities and infrastructure are supporting factors for learning Indonesian with character. Fifth, the lack of facilities and environmental influences is a barrier to the realization of character education in learning. Kata Kunci: Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter dan Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Puisi Rakyat
