Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe violence againts children in the novel Pintu Terlarang by Sekar Ayu Asmara. In this novel, Pintu Terlarang, shows physical and psycological violence. This research data is a novel Pintu Terlarang by Sekar Ayu Asmara. The source of data in this study is the novel Pintu Terlarang by Sekar Ayu Asmara. This novel was published by Pt. Gramedia Pustaka Utama with the number of pages viii and 264 pages lenght of 20 cm and widht 19 cm in jakarta, Juli 2009. The techniques of data collection is done by reading the novel Pintu Terlarang and mark the special section on violence against the children. Theb result of this study shows that the child obuse both physically and psychologically. Physical violence is a pictures of violence hitting, kicking, that caused injury, paint or disability on the victim’s body thust cause death, while psycological violence is the behaviour shown to brutallize, insult and say hard work.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the structure and function of the poem in the event manyerakan marapulai and children daro at the wedding ceremony in the village of West Pasaman Tabek Sirah. This research is descriptive qualitative research method. The object of research in the form of rhymes and children's events manyerakan marapulai and children daro. Data analysis was performed with (1) transcripts of recording data into written language, (2) analyzing the data, (3) to classify the data into the aspects studied, (4) interpreting the data in accordance with the purposes of the study, (5) make the conclusion. The results of this study indicate that in the event manyerakan marapulai rhymes and children daro has a physical structure and inner structure. The physical structure consists of : diction, imagery, concrete words, figurative language, rhyme and Rithmah, while the inner structure consists of : theme, feeling, tone and atmosphere and mandate. Functions contained in the event manyerakan marapulai rhymes and children daro found ten functions, namely (1) as a means of communication, (2) the identity, (3) as an ornamental flower oral tradition, (4) as a means to preach, (5) as a means to educate, (6) as the embodiment of indigenou , (7) as a means of entertainment, (8) as symbols of culture, (9) evokes heroic values ​​and (10) to further humanize humans.

Abstract

Research aims to describe the main character in the novel Perahu Kertas novel written by Dewi Lestari. This research focused on emotional froms the main character in the novel Perahu Kertas. This research is descriptive qualitative research methods, technical contenyt analysis. The data of this research is the kinds of emotions the main character’s Perahu Kertas novel by Dewi Lestari which includes trace elements based characterzations. The data source of this research is Perahu Kertas novel written by Dewi Lestari published by Bentang Pustaka in 2012. Based on the findings and discussion can be summed up in the Perahu Kertas novel written Dewi Lestari, there are seven main characters of emotions consisting of positive emotions: the sense of comfort, contentment, joy, happines, and a sense of comfort which is compossed of the negative emotions anger and sadness.

Abstract

This research was done to describe of form, meaning, and function of the expression the human’s trust in ceremony of corpse management in Nagari Selayo Kecamatan Kubung Kabupaten Solok. Data of this research were form, meaning and functions of the expression the human’s trust in Minangkabau especially in Kanagarian Selayo Kecamatan Kubung Kabupaten Solok. The data was collected trough interview and then, recorded the result of interview with some informant in Kenagarian Selayo Kecamatan Kubung Kabupaten Solok. In this research, it was found three results. The first, in Kanagarian Selayo Kecamatan Kubung Kabupaten Solok have 41 expressions of human’s trust in ceremony of corpse management. The second, in Kanagarian Selayo Kecamatan Kubung Kabupaten Solok have 41 expressions with implicit meaning that was got from orally and explicit meaning that was got from comprehended of the meaning in written. The third, the function of expressions human’s trust in ceremony of corpse management in Nagari Selayo Kecamatan Kubung Kabupaten Solok. The expression of human’s trust in ceremony of corpse management in Nagari Selayo Kecamatan Kubung Kabupaten Solok was divided into four parts. First, when the corpse at home has 23 expressions. Second, when the corpse bathed have 6 expressions. Third, when the corpse prayed have 1 expression. Fourth, when in the grave have 11 expressions.

Abstract

This article was written to (1) describe of teks story about The Story of Si Miskin, (2) describe the translation of story about The Story of Si Miskin, (3) describe change language of story about The Story of Si Miskin. The objeck of this study were story about The Story of Si Miskin. The text was data processing by four step, is roundup of data, describe of the text, translation, and change language. The finding of the study is avalaible of text about The Story of Si Miskin in Latin script and Indonesian language and more words that indicate old language charactheristic.

Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain the use of the tematic structure text and skematic structure text by the journalist in the political news of the second round period 2014-2019 of the mayor election in Padang in Singgalang daily news as the online media to expose the political power. The research is qualitative research. The  technique of data collection is using simak and catat technique. The analysis of the data is done by description of the analysis of Teun A. van Dijk‘s perspectives. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that the use of the structure of tematic text and the use of the structure of skematic text in the political news of the second round of mayor election of Padang in Singgalang online media, indicates that the political power exists. This phenomenon indicates that the media supports one of the candidate, Desri Ayunda-James Hellyward (Deje), so the news that is written is not neutral.
