Abstract

YouTube is a social media that is widely used by people to share videos that contain various types of content. Unregistered users can view videos, while registered users can upload videos and provide an unlimited number of comments. Mostly, videos on YouTube are music clips (video clips), movie trailers, educational videos, review videos, discussion videos, and debate or dialogue. Users’ comments and opinions on YouTube can be used as an indicator to see their inclination to a particular regional head candidate; therefore, comments can be a source of data on public opinion and sentiment in a social study. Inside the candidate team for regional head elections, sentiment analysis is used as a rationale for determining policies and campaign tactics to increase the popularity of their candidate and to test whether the candidate is well accepted in the public eye. Support Vector Machine (SVM) is a sentiment analysis model. SVM belongs to the algorithm group with the supervised technique. The three groups of the categorization used in SVM will look for the maximum value of the hyperplane which divides the test room into separate classes. SVM is a computational algorithm that requires a large operation because it includes discretization, normalization, and repeated product point operations. It is expected that Support Vector Machine (SVM) can automatically process comment data on the debate video of regional head candidates posted on YouTube, and then continually classify sentiment analysis of people’s comments on the regional head candidates. Additionally, this study is significant to become a further reference for those interested in developing SVM.

Abstract

The world of education in Indonesia needs to prepare students to face the increasingly complex challenges of the 21st century. They must be able to think critically, creatively, innovatively and be able to solve problems. In this case, it is necessary to measure student learning outcomes by conducting assessments both in writing and orally. In a written assessment, an educator is expected to have many different question banks so that they can measure the maximum achievement of student competencies. The large number of question banks sometimes makes it difficult for educators / teachers to sort out questions to measure the extent to which students are successful in achieving certain competencies. With the winnowing algorithm, the questions in the question bank are compared with the existing basic competencies using the Jackard Similarity Coefficient to determine which basic competency questions belong to. With this research, it is hoped that it will make it easier for educators to sort out questions in the question bank and make it easier to find out student achievements in certain basic competencies.

Abstract

The very rapid development of information technology in this era allows most people to access various kinds of information in other parts of the world through a network called the internet. However, to access this information, other things are needed, such as a website address that contains the desired information and an interface to display the information desired by the user. Every user must have a different experience when interacting with an interface, this is called the user experience. By knowing what experiences are experienced by users, developers can find out the various weaknesses and strengths that exist on the website created so that developers can update their website according to user needs. The evaluation carried out in this study uses the heuristic evaluation method, where this evaluation method is carried out to find usability problems that exist on the XYZ City Public Works Office website by referring to 10 heuristic principles to produce effective and efficient improvements. The evaluation stages carried out in this study are establishing requirements, design alternatives, prototyping, and conclusions. The results of this study were found 17 problems and 17 recommendations for improvements made based on the discovery of problems that exist in the object of this study even though there are 2 principles that have no problems in it. Most problems were found on the principles of flexibility and efficiency of use. The problems that have severity rating 4 are 3 problems, severity rating 3 is 4 problems, severity rating 2 is 7 problems and severity rating 0 is 1 problem.

Abstract

Internet of Things technology in post-flood handling systems in Indonesia has been widely applied. Several previous studies have shown several approaches in creating a post-flood detection system, including using SMS and using the Web that using the MQTT protocol. However, among the existing detection systems there is not yet a discoverability system to allow users to interact quickly with the system. In this study, a Web of Things-based post-flood detection system was created with the MQTT communication protocol and the Eddystone URL discoverability protocol. Web applications that used on the Web of Things use a Progressive Web App to enable compatibility with mobile devices. The test results show that the use of MQTT in the post flood detection system has a latency of less than 200ms, the use of Eddystone URL as a discoverability protocol in the flood detection system shows a fairly good system response with 90% success in ten trials on the Eddystone URL protocol, and web application testing with Google Lighthouse showed an average score of 91 for mobile web applications and an average value of 96.75 for desktop web applications.

Abstract

The development of technology and information is currently growing quite rapidly. And every organization of a company is required to utilize technology and information to become a plus for the company or organization. Currently BPPT uses the osTicket and iTop applications to support daily operations for BPPT's business needs.The purpose of this research is to build a system that can provide information for IT managers in making decisions in the network infrastructure. The methodology used in this case is the study of literature and observe directly condition in BPPT. The data used are derived from two applications at BPPT (osTicket and itop) where the data must be able to interact and integrate with each other. Results of the research is to be achieved there is a comprehensive so that can be used in decision making by IT managers.Conclusions obtained is a system of decision-making in the operational of the IT network due to problems that occur repeatedly can be minimized or eliminated by given solution on information obtained from the decision support system.

Abstract

The world is suffering by the Covid-19 pandemic which all activities including the learning process is having trouble. Thus, the Indonesian government provides a solution is all the learning process should be at home. The teaching and learning process is carried out by online. The reduced interest in student learning becomes a problem that occurs during online learning, therefore teachers must create a lesson that can increase students interest and motivation in learning. One interesting learning application creator is is the Articulate Storyline. Articulate Storyline is an application for making learning tools. This research was made using the RnD method. This method includes initial analysis, product design and design, product manufacture to testing. In this study, the results obtained that the validity level was 83.80%, the practicality level was 92.24% and the effectiveness level was 96.47% so that the learning tools produced in this study could attract students' interest in learning in the pandemic era.

Abstract

Farming is the main source of livelihood of Indonesians living in rural areas, one of which is corn. Corn yields are influenced by many factors, among others, the ever-changing climate, water availability, soil fertility, crop management systems and so on. At the time of initial observation to the farmer group failure is often also experienced due to the disruption of pig pests at night. So that a system is needed that can control the handling of pig pests by making traps using a stun tool. To convert DC (Direct Current) current into AC (Alternating Current) can be done with a series of power transistors. The power transistor designed is using the flip-flop method, both transistors will work alternately, this type of change includes a phase changer. The goal in this study was to create a microcontroller-based garden fence control device. This tool is able to provide an alternative in making it easier for farmers to control the land so as to avoid pig pests. The results of the trial DC current changer to AC d field is very well functioning so that farmers no longer experience pig pest disturbances at night.

Abstract

Landslide disaster occupies the second position of disasters that often occur in Samarinda City after the flood disaster and from this study the results of the level of vulnerability to landslides can be obtained. From the calculation results obtained 91.29% this application provides several aspects that can add information about landslide-prone areas and can provide useful information for recipients in the form of additional information related to landslides in Samarinda City. Samarinda City has an area of ​​718.00 km2 which has 10 sub-districts spread over several points in Samarinda City. There are four mappings used in this study, namely slope, soil type, rainfall and land use. Analysis of the data using the method of scoring and weighting where each of these parameters has a score and weight then performs an overlay technique to produce a map of landslide-prone areas. The application used is ArcMap in analyzing, calculating, making maps, evaluating units of each map that are influential (important) in landslide events.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut has several web-based systems that have been implemented. The systems built are still standalone and not yet integrated, so users must have different accounts on each system. Users must remember each account to access the system and for security reasons users usually change their passwords regularly. This Password change process will take a long time considering that every change made is directly proportional to the number of existing systems. Therefore we need a system that can integrate user accounts and manage the authentication and authorization process. This process requires an additional server that acts as a liaison between the system integrator and the application service system. The purpos of this research is to create an innovative system that can handle all authentication and authorization of each application system and is known as the Single Sign On (SSO) system. So that the benefits of research from the existence of a Single Sign On system, users only by using one user account can access many systems without entering repeated Usernames and passwords. In practice, user account data is retrieved from Cloud Identity via Secure LDAP, then user data is managed by the RADIUS Server and distributed to existing application service systems. The research has been successfully carried out and implemented on a website owned by the Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut, with the implementation of Single Sign On, login to the website only by using the same Username and password.

Abstract

To realize a Smart City, the government applies the use of technology in various aspects, one of which is in the public service sector in supporting smart governance by creating a Smart Service Village System (SSVS). One of the systems developed is the Balikpapan City Housing and Settlement Service in charge of carrying out government affairs in the areas of housing, settlements, landscaping and cemeteries. One of the existing fields, namely the housing sector, has a program of providing sanitation assistance and uninhabitable houses to the people of the city of Balikpapan. In its implementation, several obstacles were found, such as the slowness of data on recommendations for aid recipients, ineffective data management, and unclear process transparency. Therefore, a system was created that assists in collecting data on prospective beneficiaries, providing actual and fast progress, as well as a more optimal process of assisting. This SSVS development uses the Personal Extreme Programming method with seven phases, namely Requirements, Planning, Iteration Initialization, Design, Implementation, System Testing, and Retrospective. It is hoped that the existence of SSVS can help the implementation of aid provision more effectively, efficiently, and transparently. This research produces a web-based system with a total of 44 use cases that are carried out in 5 iterations. Testing is carried out by user training to see acceptance from related users. user training is carried out with 3 parties to represent several types of users, from the three parties it shows very good satisfaction and acceptance with a percentage of 100%.
