Abstract

This study aims to analyze what factors can reduce the level of intention to quit on generation Y banking employees by increasing variables perceived organizational support, job satisfaction, through organizational commitment. The existing research problems explain how to reduce the level of intention to quit for Generation Y employees in the banking sector in Semarang city.The number of samples in this study were 130 respondents but those who were willing to fill out questionnaires were 120 respondents. The sample was determined by the Non Probability Sampling method. The sample in this study is generation Y employees in the banking sector in Semarang City. The analysis tool used in this study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).The results in this study indicate that the influence of the variable Perceived Organizational Support, Job Satisfaction on Organizational Commitment is positive and significant. The second result in this study shows that the Perceived Organizational Support, Job Satisfaction with Intention to Quit is negative and significant. The third result in this study shows that the Organizational Commitment to Intention to Quit is negative and significant.

Abstract

Technological developments make economic actors to think continuously in order to survive. Individual must work hard to be the best. This condition tends to make employees depressed. The companies must act in order to produce the maximum performance and employee satisfaction in working. Based on the situation, the writer conducted a study to analyze the direct and indirect effect of the three independent variables (X) (job promotion, compensation, and job stress) on the dependent variable (Y) (work performance) through variable intervening (Z) (job satisfaction). Total samples in this study were 200 persons as the informants analyzed using PLS analysis. The results show that all independent variables have a significance effect on the job satisfaction; on top of that, it is an intervening variable for all the independent variables in this study. For the work stress variable, this does not have a significance effect on the employee performance; meanwhile, for the job promotion and compensation variables, those have a significance effect on the employee performance. The dominant variable of this study is the job promotion variable.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The sources of information in this study are Vice Principals of Facilities and Infrastructure, Business Center Management, entrepreneurship teachers, and students involved in Business Center in SMK Negeri 9 Semarang. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Validity of data is measured by data triangulation. Data were analyzed qualitatively by using interactive models from Miles and Huberman through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.The results show that Business Center is a potential training place to develop entrepreneurial character where students can have direct practice through it. Management of Business Center in developing entrepreneurial character by using management function that includes planning, implementation and evaluation. Business Center activities can be well directed to achieve so that students may have entrepreneur character which

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the significant influence between halal labels, and price perceptions of Wardah's cosmetics purchasing decisions on Wardah counter consumers in the ADA Semarang supermarket. This study used descriptive quantitative methods. The population used is all consumers of the Wardah Swalayan ADA Semarang counter, with a total sample of 100 respondents taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed through regression analysis using SPSS version 22. Results of the regression analysis in this study are Halal labels have a positive significant effect on purchasing decisions and price perception has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of current ratio variables and institutional ownership on dividend payout ratio and the role of debt to equity ratio in mediating those effects. The sampling method that is used in the study is purposive sampling method. This study uses financial statement data published in Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD). The feasibility test of the model was tasted using a multicollinearity test, test the coefficient of determination and significance test. Path analysis and sobel test are used in hypothesis testing. The result of the study found that the current ratio has a significant negative effect on the debt to equity ratio, the debt to equity ratio has a significant negative effect on the dividend payout ratio and the debt to equity ratio is able to mediate the effect of the current ratio on the dividend payout ratio.

Abstract

In this study the researcher described the expert system-based feedback as performance assessment for the employees at PT Multistrada Arah Sarana, Tbk. By using descriptive qualitative research, purposive sampling technique is used in this research to determine the people who will be used as resource persons. The data analysis technique used in this study is the interactive model. The variables used in this study were feedback and performance assessmentOne important factor is giving feedback or review in the production process. The aim is to keep the production process running well and smoothly to produce number of targeted items to meet market needs. Evidence-based performance management relies on feedback that relies on facts rather than opinions. Giving the type of feedback must be tailored to the needs of employees. Employee needs are related to the level of psychosocial development of employees.Feedback can be delivered by the competent facilitator so that recipients of feedback can find out their strengths and weaknesses. Using the feedback employee can then set future goals and improvement targets so that their leadership performance becomes more effective. In order to record feedback and follow up on the implementation of objectives that have been made related to the feedback provided, it is better if the manager of the talent management program provides a book that specifically records the track record of the participants
