Abstract

Setting a diet for people with Diabetes Mellitus is an important element in the management of diabetes. The success level of dietary arrangement depends on the behavior of patients in following the recommended dietary rules. These rules include the food count, type of food and schedule of meals. Knowledge is the main thing that must be possessed in implementing dietary arrangement. Providing information that is usually done is through counseling. Supporting media can also be provided as a support to increase knowledge and make it easier for patients to do a diet. Booklet can be an alternative. The purpose of this study was to determine the properness of booklet based on the assessment of material expert and media expert. This research is research and development or R & D (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model which consists of five steps, namely analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In this R & D the researcher developed a health education media in the form of booklet. Furthermore, the booklet was tested by material expert and media expert. The effectiveness of booklet will be tested by giving pretest and posttest and product assessment questionnaire on 10 people with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The conclusion of this study is that booklet are made suitable to help diet arrangement for people with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and the level of knowledge of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients increases after giving pretest and posttest.

Abstract

Hospital information system is an arrangement with data collection, data processing, presentation of information, analysis and inferences of information, is plays a role in supporting quality control, productivity assessment, and program evaluation. X Hospital  is one of the most favored hospitals by patients or visitors. Data on the number of visitors of patients for three consecutive years X Hospital highest hospital compared with other hospitals in the city of Kediri. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of outpatient registration information system information at X Hospital  Kediri. Design of this study is quantitative descriptive. Data were collected through questionnaires and observations. The results showed that the information system of outpatient registration is not optimal because the outpatient registration process is not in accordance with the standard operating procedures established. Data completeness and accuracy are in good category. Patient satisfaction on outpatient service is also in good category

Abstract

The highest prevalence of malnutrition cases is in Gorontalo District which is 3.2% in 2018 and the highest public health center in the Tibawa area is 4.2% in cases of malnutrition and underfives carrying a red line are 4.7% and 2 toddlers do not gaining weight for 3 times in a row The results of growth and development monitoring were carried out at the posyandu until September 2018. This study aims to analyze the effect of nutrition assistance with media booklets to improve the knowledge and practices of hamlet heads in determining the nutritional status of children under five. The research method was quasi-experimental with pre -post, sample selection with a total sample of 77 respondents,37 interventions and 40 controls.The results showed that there were no significant differences in knowledge of the treatment and control groups before the pre intervention (p=0.857). There were significant differences in knowledge before and after the intervention group pos1 (p=0,000) and post2 (p=0,000) whereas in the post1 control group (p=0,000), there were significant differences at post2 (p=0.395) there were no significant differences. There was a difference after the intervention between the treatment and control groups post1 (p=0,000) and Post2 (p=0,000). The practical variables did not differ significantly between the treatment and control groups before the intervention (p=0.921).In the treatment group between pre and post1 there was a significant difference (p=0.046).Between pre and post2 (p=0.157),there was no significant difference. In the control group there was no significant difference between pre and post1 (p= 0.157) and post2 (p=0.564).After the intervention there were no significant differences in the treatment and control groups at post1 (p=0.557) as well as post2 (p=0.583). The conclusion was booklet mentoring significantly increased the knowledge and practice in of mothers in determining the nutritional status of toddlers.There is no effect of practice after post2.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis that is still being current public health problem. There are about 9-11.1 people suffering from tuberculosis. Indonesia becomes the third highest TB burden in the world with TB case detection rates which is still under 70%. These hidden cases will spread in the community. One of the factors that causes the low case detection is the number of suspect findings. The purpose of this study was to identify obstacles of finding TB suspect in terms of personal factors in the TB association members in Probolinggo Regency. The method of this study is qualitative with a phenomenological approach to explore social phenomena, values, experiences of life about behavior of TB suspect  discovery. The informants were 20 cadres of TB Association members. The data was collected by structured interview. The data analyzing used content analysis. The results showed that the obstacles in finding suspect of TB Association members in terms of knowledge found that generally, the cadres already knew about TB but lack of sputum removal techniques knowledge. In terms of personality, there was already an opened communication that explained about TB to the community, however TB is still considered as a horrible thing to be declared. The community has no awareness and feel embarrassed to check their disease.

Abstract

Hospital as the health care provider institutions need to keep the employee performance as a service quality’s major factor that given to customers. K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro Regional Public Hospital that gave the public health services had done to measure the internal customer (employee) satisfaction through internal customer (employee) survey since 2018. This study aims to analyze the employee’s expectation and satisfaction suitability to the factors that affect work satisfaction as a service quality development in K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro Regional Public Hospital Semarang. This study used survey method. Also used descriptive study design by quantitative-qualitative approach and cross sectional time. Dependent variable is internal customer (employee) satisfaction, while leadership, compensation, work environment, a promotion chance, and supervise as independent variabels. The index average of internal customer (employee) satisfaction as much as 73,8% with satisfaction details related to control of  leadership 75%, compensation (75%), work environment (73%), a promotion chance (74%), and supervision (74%). This item can be concluded that internal customers (employee) in K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro Regional Public Hospital Semarang 2019 is quite satisfied with the institution services seen from leadership and compensation items provided that motivated their  satisfaction, but compensation and the promotion chance need to be improved.

Abstract

Hospital Information System (HIS) is an important component to improve hospital service quality. HIS  at General Hospital Dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso has been running for about 5 years since 2015. HIS implementation is not optimal because there are still various problems in its implementation.  The problem such as errors in printing reports so users must create reports manually. This research was aimed to analyze the application of hospital information systems using the PIECES method. This type of research is qualitative. It showed that the information Hospital Information System (HIS) performance results based on aspects of performance Hospital Information System (HIS) performance goes according to user needs, information aspects of information generated accurately, aspects of economics have produced economic value, running control aspects related to control and system security, efficiency aspects have provided efficiencies in its application, service aspect has made it easy for system users. Based on aspects of Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency, and Service Hospital Information System (HIS) performance has been running according to user needs, but it is not free from various problems, so there needs a efforts to improvement and development of Hospital Information System (HIS) through the recommendation of researchers so that Hospital Information System (HIS) can maintain quality and improve service quality to patients.

Abstract

 Stunting (short) is an underweight nutritional condition measured based on height index by age (TB / U) compared to the standard, usually used in infants. This stunting condition (short), is an indicator of children's health that describes the incidence of under-nutrition that lasts for a long time (chronic) and is influenced by low levels of nutrient consumption and low socioeconomic. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between socioeconomic factor and nutrient consumption level with stunting incident in underfive in work area of Kalisat health center, Jember regency. This research was conducted for two months by giving 24 hour food recall form, and form characteristic of respondent. The research design used cross sectional. The statistical test used is spearman test. From the spearman test result there is no relationship of mother education with stunting event (p=0,19), there is no relationship of father education with stunting event status (p=0,08), there is no relation of mother job with stunting event (p=0,95), there is no relation of parent income with stunting event (p=0,12), there is relation of number of family member with stunting event (p=0,00), there is no relation of energy consumption level with stunting event (p=0,59), there was no correlation of protein consumption level with stunting event (p=0,18), no correlation of calcium consumption level with stunting event (p=0,60), no correlation of zinc consumption level with stunting event (p=0,21).
