Abstract

Student activities in teaching and learning activities are absolutely necessary. But even more important in increasing student activity is the teacher's ability to plan a teaching and learning activity to achieve learning goals. Based on these phenomena, researchers will conduct an action research activity on students of class I Sengon 1 SDN Jombang Regency emphasizing on increasing student learning motivation through activity-based learning activities. The researcher uses the observation method or observes objects directly in the classroom with action research methods. Based on the research activities of the actions that have been carried out by researchers, conclusions can be formulated, including: 1) Learning strategies with Teaching Approaches Based on Natural Activities Islamic Education Learning Standards Competence "Memorizing Short Letters" Class I students of Sengon 1 Elementary School Jombang Regency can improve achievement of learning outcomes, motivation, creativity, and problem solving in, learning; 2) Positive impacts obtained from activity-based learning strategies are: (1) students are more motivated in learning, (2) students are more creative, (3) students are more willing to express and answer questions, (4) students are more responsible, and (5) learning achievement increases. While the negative impact is that students who lack creativity and low ability will always be left behind in the learning process. On the other hand, students who are more creative and have more abilities will feel good compared to students below.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the contribution and analyze the level of contribution of interest in learning to the learning outcomes of social studies students of fourth grade SD Negeri Bulusidokare Sidoarjo. The design of the study used quantitative correlation type research. Research sample of grade IV students of SD Negeri Bulusidokare Sidoarjo. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using product moment correlation test to reveal the contribution and test the determination to reveal the level of contribution. Based on the presentation and analysis of the data, it can be concluded: 1) there is a contribution of interest in learning to the learning outcomes in social studies of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Bulusidokare Sidoarjo of 0.97, meaning that interest in learning has a very strong correlation to student learning outcomes and 2) there is a contribution the high between interest in learning towards learning outcomes in subjects of class IV IPS of SD Negeri Bulusidokare Sidoarjo is 94%.

Abstract

The module is one of the teaching material media that is intact and systematic. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of teaching thematic modules based on the Qur'an and Hadith with the thematic package book on the 4th class religious character in SDN Janti 2 Tarik Sidoarjo. The type of research is experimental research with samples taken by class 4 A (experimental class with thematic learning module based on qur'an and hadith) and 4 B (control class with thematic package book). The data were obtained from the students' learning outcomes of the cognitive and affective aspects of my dream ideals by analyzing using SPSS program statistics. The result of cognitive domain using SPSS Independent Samples Test shows the significance of 0.000 <0,05 then Ho is rejected so it can be concluded that there is effectiveness of thematic teaching module based on qur'an and hadith with thematic package book to the result of fourth grade student learning at SDN Janti 2 Pull Sidoarjo. Likewise, the affective domain results show the percentage of 90% so it can be concluded to increase students' religious kararkter. Learning module has a high influence, seen from the cognitive domain learning results obtained by an average score of 80, while affective domain average value 4. For thematic package books have a lower effect because of the cognitive domain learning results obtained an average of 75, while affective domains result in an average value of 3.

Abstract

The emergence of unpleasant assumptions about Islamic religious education, such as Islam is taught more on memorization that must be practiced. So the problem that is often encountered in teaching, especially teaching Islam is how to present material to students well so that the results are effective and efficient. In order for the learning of Islamic religious education (pendidikan agama Islam/PAI) on the material of the names of the books of God to be embedded in students well, then many concepts of active learning models are offered. One of them is by implementing a cooperative learning model through the crossword puzzle strategy that is expected to increase students' learning motivation. By involving them actively in the learning process, students will experience or even discover science independently. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of cooperative learning through the crossword puzzle strategy in increasing learning motivation in the Grade 5 PAI Subjects of Jombatan 1 Elementary School in Jombang Regency. The research method used is action research. In collecting data, the author uses the observation method, checklist, and participatory methods. The results of the study show that the implementation of cooperative learning through crossword puzzle strategies is effective in increasing the motivation to learn PAI subjects. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of students in working on group puzzles in PAI learning about the names of God's books. And learning that had been stiff and boring had become more alive because educators directly involved students in learning, not only listening, seeing and working on the questions given. Having been well implemented and in accordance with existing learning concepts, this could also be seen from the preparation, implementation (an application) and evaluation carried out in well-designed teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Social Sciences is a subject that studies and discusses social issues in society. The learning process of a subject will take place well and smoothly if the teacher in delivering the material has strategies and methods in delivering it to the students. The purpose of this article is to describe the social science learning methodology from literature review analysis. The method used is to use various literature review on the social science learning methodology. The social science is a field of study in the learning process is expected to provide students to be responsible in social life. Somesocial science learning methodologies are tailored to the conditions of students and facilities available so as to provide good learning outcomes with indicators of mastery and student learning achievement.
