Abstract

This research is entitled "Learning to Produce Negotiated Texts Using Project-Based Learning Methods in Class X Students of the 2019/2020 Academic Year". This research is motivated by learning to produce negotiation text in SMK. In general, not all students can produce negotiating texts. Only a few students can write negotiation texts, this is because students have different levels. Students find it very difficult to say what to write in producing a negotiating text. Therefore, students need production skills by grouping, making plans for completing project assignments and explaining material to produce negotiating texts by the teacher. The author formulates the following problems: 1) Is the project-based learning method effective in producing negotiating text for class X students? 2) Can project-based learning methods improve the ability of class X students in learning to produce negotiation texts? 3) Are there differences in students' learning abilities before and after using project-based learning methods in producing negotiating text in class X students? The method used in this research is the experimental method. The experimental method is used to determine the effectiveness of using project-based learning methods in learning to produce negotiating texts. The type of method used in this research is Quasi-Experimental (Quasi-Experimental) in the form of Nonequivalent control group design, where the effect or effect of a treatment is decided based on the differences in the results of the pretest and posttest on the experimental class and the control class. The research technique used in this research is a literature study, observation, and testing. The results of the difference in the mean value of the pretest and posttest proved an increase in the ability of the experimental class students by 78.55 in the initial test and the average score of the final test was 85.16 in producing negative texts. While the control class using the assignment method obtained an average score of 68.71 in the initial test and an average value of 71.61 in the final test. The data were processed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistical test with the help of MINITAB 14 software. Based on the results of the study, there were differences in students' abilities before and after using the method, meaning that the project-based learning method was more effective than learning using the assignment method.

Abstract

The character's life is always interesting to broadcast and of course, many people are interested and constructed to produce interesting news and broadcast on the media, including online media. The research method for analyzing the construction of celebrity news is a method of discourse analysis from Fairclough. This Fairclough discourse analysis is used to see more broadly the other side of the news so that there is no perception from one party only. Through critical discourse analysis, it is possible to find findings of the ideology of a variety of media available. The results of the study show that based on Fairclough's discourse analysis, there are differences in the content of news coverage in 2 online media. Each media frames the same news with a different frame according to the idealism of the media.

Abstract

Innovation in learning has to be done,  including IKIP Siliwangi students, learning innovation becomes the background in this research, the innovation in question is to develop existing learning models tailored to the needs of students and combine learning model with digital media. The purpose of find out the results of students' learning in writing expplanation text using innovative methods, and to know the implementation of STAD+ 3R methods based on digital media as innovative methods. The research used is quantitative descriptive in the form of Nonequivalent control groups. The population in this study was 300 grade VIII students. The sampling used purposive sampling and obtained grade VIII B as an experimental class of 30 students and grade VIII A as a control class of 30 students. The results showed the study increased the average score by 21.87 points from 56.13 to 78. Significant differences through statistical test with signification score of 2-tailed independent t test sample test is 0.003 < 0.05, it can be concluded there is a meaningful difference between the control and the experiment class, Implementation of STAD +3R method based on digital media goes very well with the results of students' work in the experiment class with digital products in the form of vlog, pptx and e-book.

The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The population in this study was 200 class X SMA Negeri 1 Banjaran. Sampling uses rendom sampling, obtained by class X-A as a sample in this study, as many as 32 students. The results earned the highest value students of 92, the lowest value of 67 and an average value of 78.6 with a percentage of 78.6%. Abstract

The skill of writing observation report text is one of the skills that need to be mastered by class X high school students. Based on the results of observations and interviews with Indonesian language subject teachers at Arjasa Junior High School, there is a problem in the process of writing observation report text. Students have d ifficulties in starting and developing ideas, have errors in applying linguistic rules, and difficulties in compiling a text framework for the observation report. This is indicated by the low-level of difficulty in learning to write the text of the observation report: only 7 students whose grades have reached the standard grade Standard Score, 28 students do not complete. To improve the writing skills of the observation report text, it is necessary to take action by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model combined with the powtoon application media. The research design used was CAR (Classroom Action Research) which consisted of two cycles starting from planning, action, observation, reflection, re-planning, action, observation, and reflection. The method used to get data is through questionnaires, interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The results showed that student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely by 45.7% or as many as 16 students who reached the standard grade increased to 80% or as many as 28 students in cycle II. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model with the powtoon application media can improve students' skills in writing observation report text in class X IPA 4 Arjasa Junior High School.

Abstract

Negotiation itself is actually closely related to the daily lives of students. Negotiations are usually carried out by everyone in their daily lives, because negotiating means trying to reach an agreement, in everything. This study implements the investigation group model in the study of negotiating texts. The research objectives are to 1) describe the results of research in the classroom using the investigation group learning model and 2) to describe student learning outcomes. The research method used is an experimental method with a type of non-equivalent control group. The results showed an increase in students with SPSS calculation results was 0.001, meaning that the resulting data was less than 0.05 significance. This means that the instructor writes negotiating texts using the group investigation model is considered successful.
