Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

Abstract The aims of this study is to describe the preservation of the dance ”Asyek Mandi di Taman” in Desa Mukai Hilir, the district of Siulak Mukai, Kerinci by revealing how the preservation was conducted in an effort to develop the dance based on the quantity aspect of the performer(s)  of this dance and the quality aspect of its costume development. This survey method applied is qualitative research. Data collection involved library research, observation, interviews, and documentation. The techniques applied in analyzing the data were: collecting the data, categorizing, the data and analyzing the data based on the theory suitable for this study. The data was analyzed in accordance with the problems discussed in this study. The final result was the description of the finding in the form of a report.The results of this study reveals that the numbers of the people involved in the tradition of “Asyek Mandi di Taman” have increased. This can be seen from the expansion of the regions chosen for the performance of “Asyek Mandi di Taman”. Initially, there were only three people involved in this performance however it has reached the total of 24 people now from various villages such as Desa Koto Rendah, Desa Siulak Gedang, Desa Siulak Panjang, Desa Dusun Baru, Pasar Senen, Koto Aro, Lubuk Nagodang, and Mukai Mudik. Similarly, the costumes of the dancers of “Asyek Mandi di Taman” have also developed in terms of the styles of the costumes and how the costumes are worn. The efforts to preserve this dance were evident in the following event such as the “Acara Seni of ISI Padang Panjang on April 30, 2016, the dance was performed in the farewell party of the Mts Siulak District on May 28, 2016, and the “Balemang” event in Desa Siulak, the  district of Siulak on June 5, 2016. All the four performances were viewed as successful ones.Key words: Preservation, Asyek Mandi di Taman

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to analyze and describe the structures Sakin Dance in nagari Pitalah Kecamatan Batipuh Kabupaten Tanah Datar. The formulation of the problem What is the Structure Sakin Dance in nagari Pitalah Kecamatan Batipuh Kabupaten Tanah Datar. The research is a qualitative descriptive method of analysis. The object of this study was Sakin dance in Nagari Pitalah Batipuh District of Tanah Datar. Data was collected through literature study, work studio, observations, interviews, and documentation. While the research instrument that researchers themselves and use tools to record and collect data that use tools - stationery, photo camera, Handy-cam, tape recorder or hp. Data analysis was carried out based on the steps-steps proposed by Sugiono, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.The results showed that the hierarchical relationship management grammatical Sakin dance is composed of several constituent components, ranging from the smallest to largest component. The smallest component unit at the start of the kinetic elements, form a motif, then forming parts and eventually into motion a whole dance. Tata hierarchical relationships contained in Sakin dance consists of 109 overall kinetic and kinetic 25 primary, 29 motif, 6 parts and eventually become the overall dance movement called Sakin dance.Keywords: Structures, Motion, Sakin Dance.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to find out and describe the styles of the Pasombahan Kreasi* dance at Bangkinang Kota Municipality Kampar Regency Riau Province. The design of the research was qualitative by using the descriptive method which included observation, interview, and documentation. First, the researcher did the observation and interview various sources of information. Later, he examined the documents about related data and information in the field. The research was done at Bangkinang Kota Municipality Kampar Regency Riau Province.The result of analysis shows that there are four styles in the Pasombahan* dance. First, the hands, feet, and head are dominantly in motion for each move and the body moves along with the motion of the hands or feet. They can be seen in the moves of sepok*, ulu limpiong*, gletek*, klenjek*, punte tali bowuok*, elo somba*, and sombah*. Second, the moves dominantly go to the front direction such as in the moves of sepok, punte tali bowuok, elo somba and sombah. The moves, later, go along with the body like in the moves of ulu limpiong, gletek, and klenjek. Third, the rhythm of the dance is in count of 1×8 such as in the moves of sepok, ulu limpiong, gletek, klenjek, punte tali bowuok, and elo somba. Meanwhile, the rhythm in the move of sombah is in the count of 2×8. Four, the quality of the moves in the dance is determined by space, time, and power. The space in the moves of sepok, klenjek, elo sombah, and sombah is a direct and big space. Meanwhile, the space in the moves of ulu limpiong, gletek, and punte tali bowuok is an indirect and big space. In term of time, it is done continuously in the moves of sepok, ulu limpiong, and klenjek while it is done suddenly in the moves of gletek, punte tali bowuok, and sombah. In the move of elo sombah, it is done directly. Finally, in term of power, the moves of sepok and gletek are done in big power while the moves of ulu lipiong, klenjek, punte tali bowuok, elo somba, and sombah are done in light power. Those results show that the styles in the Pasombahan dance are the combination of Minangkabau martial art dance and Bangkinang-Malay version.Keywords: Style. Dance. Pasombahan. Creation
