Abstract

First of all, the development of technology, which has been developed at this time, has encouraged the acceleration in several fields; especially in the field of information technology. Associated to the requirement for information that has increased, commonly, parking management use a ticket to sign in and out of motor vehicles that has been parked. Along with the difficulties often encountered by users of parking services such as difficulty on finding an empty parking location, parking services where users have to revolve - around looking for an empty parking lot, and certainly not to get a parking space, in addition to the parking service users often forget where previously parked vehicle.The purpose of the present study was to identify a result to combine and develop the existing parking system environments by utilizing the parking area sufficient support for the implementation of the parking system settings.In conclusion, through a system of information that has been created, will make it more manageable for the user services and parking services manager, furthermore the aim of the thesis is expected to be one of the experimental developments in parking management.

Abstract

Computer Vision, suatu bidang yang melibatkan metode proses, akuisisi, analisa, dan pengolahan citra berdimensi tinggi dari dunia nyata untuk menghasilkan informasi numerik maupun simbol. Informasi itu dapat digunakan untuk melakukan suatu interpretasi satuan panjang. Interpretasi tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan pada toko baju untuk sebuah sistem pengukuran badan seseorang. Sistem ini dikhususkan untuk mengukur badan pria karena lebih mudah daripada mengukur badan wanita. Penggunaannya dapat mengurangi kerugian baju yang longgar akibat dicoba oleh pelanggan, serta pelanggan akan merasa puas karena proses pengukuran yang cepat dan mendapatkan ukuran yang sesuai. Sistem pengukuran badan pria akan dilakukan pada suatu ruangan yang dilengkapi dengan sebuah kamera kinect, layar monitor, dan unit proses untuk interaksi pengguna dengan sistem. Kamera kinect digunakan karena selain dapat menangkap gambar ia dilengkapi dengan IR projector dan sensor yang dapat memberikan informasi depth. Setelah pengguna memulai sistem, kamera kinect akan mengirimkan informasi gambar serta depth ke unit proses untuk melakukan pengolahan gambar, feature extraction, serta pemrosesan lebih lanjut untuk mengukur panjang, dan lebar badan dari pengguna. Pada layar monitor akan memperlihatkan data hasil pengukuran serta kategori ukuran baju S, M, L, dan XL yang dianjurkan untuk pengguna.

Abstract

Telah banyak dilakukan studi mengenai fenomena inrush current. Inrush current merupakan fenomena yang terjadi pada saat transformator pertama kali diberikan sumber tegangan. Inrush current dapat dianalisa menggunakan kurva magnetisasi pada inti transformator. Pada studi ini, dilakukan simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak untuk mengetahui pengaruh cara pemotongan inti transformator terhadap kurva magnetisasi. Sedangkan perhitungan matematis dilakukan untuk mendapatkan nilai puncak dari inrush current

Abstract

Currently wireless technology has grown rapidly. Wireless technology is wireless communication technology, and currently has a lot of growing up and one of the developments is the wireless sensor networks (WSN). WSN is a combination of wireless modules, micro module and the sensor module, the workings of WSN is the sensor response value to the microcontroller module and the response values are transmitted via wireless communication. Based on how the WSN can be used for various purposes with one of them for monitoring natural disasters. WSN is designed for monitoring natural disasters landslides. In general WSN systems have problems such as limited distance. In this system, the authors apply topology tree and spanningtreeprotocol (STP). Tree topology is a collection of star topology are connected into the bus topology as spine or backbone lines, while STP is a network communications protocol that has automatic backup paths if the main line is not active. By implementing this system, the maximum distance of the receiving and sending data of node to node is 100 meters, while by applying tree topology and spanningtreeprotocol within a maximum range on the whole system is 141 meters. With these results it can be concluded that the overall system using a maximum distance of wider scope.

Abstract

Multi Depot  Vehicle Routing Problem  (MDVRP) merupakan permasalahan optimasi yang memiliki peranan penting dalam manajemen sistem distribusi dengan tujuan meminimalkan  waktu  yang diperlukan, dimana penentuan  waktu  berkaitan dengan jarak dari rute yang ditempuh oleh armada distribusi. Penelitian ini memberikan sebuah formulasi dari kasus  Multi Depot  Vehicle  Routing  Problem  (MDVRP) yang diselesaikan dengan metode algoritma  Particle Swarm Optimization  (PSO).  Terdapat dua tahapan untuk menyelesaikan MDVRP yaitu  clustering  dan  assignment. Dalam  clustering  digunakan metode  simplified parallel assignment, sedangkan untuk  assignment digunakan metode  particle swarm optimization.  PSO merupakan salah satu teknik komputasi.  Algoritma  Particle Swarm Optimization  dapat menghasilkan waktu tempuh yang minimum

Abstract

Keamanan proses transmisi data pada jaringan Mobile Ad Hoc ( MANET ) merupakan hal yang sangat penting , tetapi komunikasi nirkabel, perubahan topologi yang dinamis ,resource terbatas dan tidak adanya pengaturan sccara terpusat membuat MANET rentan terhadap segala macam serangan DoS pada layer network seperti Grayhole dan Blackhole yang dapat mengganggu proses transmisi data dengan membuang paket yang diterima. Paper ini menjelaskan mengenai mekanisme keamanan untuk mendeteksi dan melawan serangan Grayhole dan Blackhole pada salah satu routing protkol yang ada pada MANET yaitu AODV. Metode yang digunakan tidak menggunakan teknik kriptografi yang diterapkan pada paket routing melainkan dengan mendeteksi keberadaan node berbahaya dan menggunakan algoritma yang dapat melawan dan membuang node berbahaya dengan mengisolir node tersebut dari jaringan dimana memanfaatkan paket routing yang tidak hanya membawa informasi mengenai informasi routing tetapi juga membawa informasi mengenai keberadaan node berbahaya yang telah terdeteksi.

Abstract

Pembangkitan daya listrik yang optimal menjadi penting seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan daya dan biaya bahan bakar. Dynamic economic dispatch diharapkan mendapatkan pembangkitan daya yang ekonomis dan tetap melayani kebutuhan daya secara andal pada sistem pembangkitan daya listrik. Beberapa karakteristik non-linier dan batasan praktis pada unit generator seperti  valve-point effect, batasan ramp-rate dan batasan operasi, serta rugi-rugi transmisi pada jaringan listrik dipertimbangkan dalam perhitungan. Penelitian ini menyajikan implementasi algoritma Artificial Bee Colony, algoritma meta-heuristik yang terinspirasi dari tingkah laku kawanan lebah untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan dynamic economic dispatch. Untuk menunjukkan kelayakan dan efektifitas dari hasil optimasi, dua sistem berbeda dengan 5 unit dan 15 unit pembangkit dilakukan pengujian dengan parameter algoritma yang berbeda. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma Artificial Bee Colony mampu memberikan solusi dispatch yang baik dengan waktu komputasi yang cepat

Abstract

The utilization of solar energy as an alternative energy to generate electricity using photovoltaic (PV) connected to the grid / battery  that is still working through the night has been developed in Indonesia. The use of these technologies can be done anywhere, one of which can be applied in the maritime industry. There is a electronic center room at KR. Baruna Jaya 8 that requires electric power supply continuously. Electronic Center must still be fed from the battery in the worst conditions or blackout occurs to get the delay time to turn off all the equipment and securing data. The room is supplied from the distribution panel of electronic center with a capacity of 30 kVA, 230V, 50 Hz which will redesign using PV systems - Battery. PV is connected to an inverter that can supply the power needs in the Electronic Center room. The results of simulation using PSIM software shows that the PV system can generate 25.5 kW of supply the distribution panel of Electronic Center as a substituent of fossil fuel power plants that used previously.

Abstract

In order to have a reliable and robust data transmission in digital communication system, channel coding is applied for improving the performance of the system. Convolutional code is one of channel coding technique for error detection and error correction. In this paper, convolutional code is used for improving the bit error rate (BER) performance in Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK)modulation scheme which is implemented on a Wireless Open-Access Research Platform (WARP). Based on implementation and measurement results show that with an equal transmit power (with Tx gain =20dB), QPSK modulation with convolutional code have a lower BER than the uncoded one. For convolutional code with rate =1/2 at a range of 6 meter has a BER value of 0.00065232 while the uncoded BER is 0.0048828. By comparison of the system performance with different coding rate (1/2,2/3,3/4.5/6 and 7/8), the BER performance of QPSK system with convolutional code rate of 7/8 is better that the others. It can achieve a BER of 0.00037495.

Abstract

some fish farmers has been doing some way of controlling salinity in the water for marine fish farming, the farmers will turn on the water pump when they found the taste of the water used to grow fish is not salty, this indicates that the levels of salinity in the water too low. With this method will certainly lead to the growth of fish disturbed. So monitoring and adjusting the condition of pond water is continuously required to maintain water salinity. In this research we analyze one of the supporting factors for the cultivation of marine fish by adjusting the amount of salinity in the water and maintain it in accordance with the needs of tiger grouper. Using Arduino Uno R3 as a data processor, water level or salinity sensor as measuring salinity and input system, while for the actuator system using DC water pump. Salinity measurements using the water level or salinity sensor has an accuracy rate of 98.99%. Calculation of salinity by using fuzzy method goes well with a 100% success rate in accordance with the fuzzy analysis manually. By using salt water pump system can work well in controlling salinity and maintain between 30-33 ppt salinity.
