Abstract

This thesis examines how student participation and perception in learning in school. As still found the problem of lack of student participation in the task and the lack of participation in bringing materials for the task of art subjects, as well as the perception of some students who consider that the subjects of art is not too important than other subjects.The purpose of this thesis is to find out how the participation and perception of students in art learning. This research method using quantitative research type, with data collection method through research questionnaire, in data processing researcher using SPSS version 16 application.The results of research conducted at SMPN 4 Lembah Gumanti to the participation and perceptions of students in art learning have good participation and good perception.Keywords: partispasi, perception, art learning.

Abstract

Jangki that formerly close to the community now has begun to disappear and no longer functioned. Society gradually began to leave the community and did not enjoy the characteristics of culture itself. The purpose of making this work is to visualize the jangki that has been eliminated by the community through the works of Contemporary Realist Painting. The method used is 1)  elaboration or deepening, this is done directly. 2) synthesis is the concept of phase freelance. 3) over the sketch, the coloring process, until final cultivation in the form of finishing works. 4) exhibition season. Abstract

The purpose of the creation of this final paper is to visualize and expressthe atmosphere of community life around the river Batanghari in post  impressionist painting in the hope to be able to maintain its existence so as  not to be forgotten, so that the public can better know and understand the  importance of maintaining the environment, especially on the banks of the river Batanghari.The methods used are: first preparation, looking for 1art ideas based on  Batanghari river references from various media and surveys through  interviews with some resource persons. Both elaborations, analyzing data.  third synthesis, set the idea. Fourth realization of concept, taking photos.  The five stages of completion, the implementation of the exhibition, documentation, and reports of painting post impressionism. The author  displays how the activities of people who are in the river Batanghari.Ten post impressionist paintings describe the activities of people in the river Batanghari. The work outlines how the daily life of the community  around the Batanghari river includes the activity and atmosphere around  the river Batanghari. The tenth work include: 1). Rumahku, 2).  Menyeberang, 3). Mendulang Emas, 4). Aktivitasku, 5). Nelayan 6). MCK,  7). Menambang Pasir, 8). Speed Boat, 9). Keramba Ikan, 10).  Menambang Batu.

Abstract

The purpose of the idea of the creation of this final work is to visualize the impact of fashion modernization on youth in Bangko which is expressed through contemporary realist painting to inform the world of the impact of fashion modernization that influences the way dress behavior.The method of creating this final paper uses five stages: preparatory, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization and completion. Using acrylic paint on canvas and flat brush strokes and colors that match the subject, with a contemporary realist style. Ten works are created telling about the impact of fashion modernization on teenagers with the title: 1.Sakit Senang, 2.Seksi, 3.Bungkusan, 4.Tak Terkalahkan, 5.Boho, 6.Berani kan ?, 7.Panas, 8.Ngintip, 9.Teralihkan, 10.Centil. This work can be used as recording the history of Bangko teenagers today.Kata kunci: Modernisasi, Fashion, Remaja, Realis Kontemporer

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of Team Game  Tournament learning model and learning motivation on student learning  outcomes in art learning at SMA Adabiah Padang. This research using  quantitative type of quasi experiment by 2x2 factorial design. Data collection  techniques used are learning motivation instrument and learning outcomes  test instrument. The result of first hypothesis points tcount= 4,361 and  ttable= 2,045 at alpha level = 0,05, these represent that tcount > ttable ,  then Hi is accepted. Second hypothesis points tcount= 4,037 and ttable=  2,306 at alpha level = 0,05, these represents that tcount > ttable , then Hi is  accepted. Third hypothesis points tcount= 2,319 and ttable= 2,306 at alpha  level = 0,05, these represent that tcount > ttable , then Hi is accepted. The  conclusion according the result of the research obtained that the application of TGT model and learning motivation could to increase the learning outcomes of students in art learning at SMA Adabiah Padang.Keyword: Team Game Tournament learning model, learning motivation, learning outcomes, visual arts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of STAD type cooperative learning  model on student learning outcomes in art learning at SMP N 16 Padang.  This  research is an experimental research using presest-posttes group  design research design. Data collection techniques used are tests and  observations. The result of t test conducted on the experimental class and  control class shows the tcount of 4,970 and the sig (2-tailed) value is 0,000  while the ttable is 2.040. From the value of sig (2-tailed) above the value is  smaller than sig (0,000 <0,05) and t arithmetic is greater than t table (4.970  > 2.040), then H0 is rejected. Based on the above description can be   concluded that the application of STAD type cooperative learning model has  an effect on student learning outcomes in art learning at SMP N 16 PadangKeyword: STAD type cooperative learning model, learning outcomes, visual arts.

Abstract

This final work examines the effects of authoritarian parenting patterns that parents apply to children who are brought to the motorcycle and then visualized in contemporary realist painting.The purpose of the creation of this final paper to visualize motorcycles as a metaphor of authoritarian parenting for the environment as well as in this work will be specifically for the authors of the author himself will be used as a visual language about the author's response to an authoritarian parenting style treated.The method of creating works of art, using five stages of preparation  stage, elaboration stage, synthesis stage, stage of concept, realization and completion stage and the last to hold the final work exhibition. In the creation of works, the author uses acrylic paint on canvas with brush stroke technique and uses colors that match the actual object color.Ten masterpieces made representing the theme in the toll tells the story of the expression of a child raised by parents by using authoritarian parenting that affects the child's behavior, mental stress, even some children who suffer from bipolar.Keywords: authoritarian parenting, painting, contemporary realist.

Abstract

This research was done based on the interest students of SMPN 34 Padang who still have low study results for the subject of culture and arts, especially on fine arts that aim to determine the effect of using Jigsaw technique of cooperative learning toward students’ study results of fine arts in SMPN 34 Padang.This research was experimental research with the type of quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group design. The population was all fine arts students of SMPN 34 Padang. The sampling was using purposive random sampling technique. The data analysis is hypothesis test with t- test at significant level 0.05. The results of experimental class using Jigsaw technique of cooperative learning have higher study results than students at control class using conventional learning model.Keywords: Jigsaw type cooperative learning model and learning outcomes.
