Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational science foundation in the development of Worksheets based on the approach of science process skills in Physics learning. This research method is a meta-analysis with a sample of 10 articles in national and international journals. The results of this meta-analysis study are 9 articles having a percentage of 60% and 1 article having a percentage of 40% in implementing the educational foundation. The use of educational foundations analyzed in the article are religious foundations, philosophical foundations, psychological foundations, cultural foundations and social foundations

Abstract

Good education must have educational foundations because it is a fulcrum and benchmarks in education. This study aims to analyze the foundation of educational science towards the development of e-books and eduparchs of learning physics. This research method is a meta-analysis with a sample of 20 articles. The meta-analysis research shows the completeness of the foundation of educational science in the development of e-books and edupark of physical learning by 61.43% with complete categories.

Abstract

Physics learning aims to make students have a scientific attitude, master the concepts of        science, and understand phenomena that occur in everyday life. Learning physics by applying the STEM approach can improve the skills needed by students. The STEM approach can train students to be able to integrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in learning physics. The     implementation of the STEM approach in learning physics can be supported by the existence of    teaching materials that are appropriate to the needs and characteristics of students. One form of teaching material that can support independent learning is student books. However, there are still student books that have not fully facilitated the implementation of the STEM approach in learning physics. This study aims to analyze the needs of student books based on the STEM approach in    learning physics. This research is a descriptive study conducted through observation at senior high school (SMA N 4 Padang) with a sample of research is students of 11th grade. Analysis of student book needs based on the STEM approach, including student analysis, analysis of learning activities,      analysis of graduate competency standards, and assessment analysis. The instruments used in this study were in the form of questionnaires and interview sheets. The results showed that the analysis of learners obtained an average value of 67.54, analysis of learning activities obtained an average value of 72.91, analysis of graduate competency standards obtained an average value of 74.60 and analysis of the assessment obtained an average value of 84,24. Therefore, it is necessary to develop physics teaching materials in the form of student books based on the STEM approach

Abstract

The 21st century challenge of the industrial revolution 4.0 is implementing learning resources in the 2013 curriculum that can be integrated with regional contexts that can support digital-based learning. Physics Learning Integrating Learning Materials with the Environment and Physics Learning Applications becomes More Interesting. Various kinds of learning resources that can be integrated in learning physics with the environment or educational park (Edupark). Edupark is an educational park to support the application of physics concepts for students. Meanwhile, the 4.0 industrial revolution era brought education based on digital learning. Digital learning such as e-books are integrated with Edupark. The foundation of education greatly contributes to specific learning in achieving the learning objectives achieved. So, a meta-analysis of e-books and eduparchs of physics was carried out on the educational foundation of the industrial revolution era 4.0. This meta analysis uses descriptive methods. The purpose of the meta-analysis is to select 20 educational journals in the selected journals. The data in this study were obtained from the analysis of each journal and obtained with existing theories. The technique of analyzing data uses descriptive percentages. The results of the meta-analysis concluded that the application of religious foundations with a percentage of 5% (Not good), constitutional basis 60% (enough), philosophical foundation 85% (Good), social, cultural and anthropological foundation 45% (not good), and the application of science and technology 75% (enough).

Abstract

Physics learning is a natural science that studies phenomena and events in nature. The concept of physics will be better understood by directly observing the events in the surrounding environment. Learning in nature, especially in tourism which is called by edupark will be learning the fun and motivating student to better understand the concepts of physics. Teachers are required to be creative and innovative in the provision of teaching materials that utilize technology. Therefore a analysis of independent student on aspects of knowledge, skills and style of learning. The data of this study were taken with questionnaires with students at SMAN 1Talamau, SMAN 1 Pasaman and SMAN 2 Pasaman. Analysis of preliminary describe the student has not been independent and has not been able to resolve the problem that is encountered in learning, students enjoy the learning on the tourism and students like learning with electronic books (e-book). For this reason, it is necessary to carry out research into the development of an integrated e-book edupark to improve student learning independence.

Abstract

Physics is a branch of natural science that studies natural phenomena. The earthquake was one  of the natural disasters that often hit the city of Padang. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of independence of student activity sheet integrated physics material for earthquake disaster mitigation based on a virtual laboratory. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Qualitative method is a method used to get data that contains meaning. The instrument in this study was the student questionnaire. The student questionnaire consisted of a questionnaire of independence, learning style, and earthquake disaster mitigation. The results of the independence questionnaire showed that the independence of students in the physics learning process was not optimal, the learning style of students was more dominant with the visual learning style, and the earthquake disaster mitigation of students was not optimal. So that the development of the student activity sheet based on a virtual laboratory is carried out

Abstract

Facing the era of globalization, government then developed the 2013 curriculum. The characteristics of the 2013 curriculum were designed with the aim of creating students who meet 21st century competencies that emphasize the ability to think. To achieve that, all 2013 curriculum suggest discovery learning model. This model can be integrated in e-book teaching materials. This study aims to describe the characteristics of students as e-book users and the results of the analysis will be a reference in the development of e-book Physics High School based on discovery learning models. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with data collection instruments in the form of a student questionnaire consisting of four characteristics of students namely independence of learning, interest, motivation and learning style. From the results of the analysis it can be illustrated that students have a low level of independence, interest and motivation and the most dominant learning style is visual. These results indicate that the development of high school physics e-books based on discovery learning needs to be done by considering the learning style aspects when designing

Abstract

This study aims to see the level of validity and practicality of the development e-modulses using the guided inquiry model. Research conducted using meta-analysis reasearch. Data collection techniques are carried out by searching journals, theses, scemes, scientific articles related to e-modules and guided inquiry models through the internet. The sample used was 10 data related to the development of e-modules using the guided inquiry model. The results of this meta-analysis study found that the level of validity for the development of e-modules using the guided inquiry model in all four aspects of validity was valid with an average validy on the content aspect was 0,85 with a valid category, presenting 0,84 valid categories, language 0,83 valid categories, grafic 0,71 valid caategories.  The level of practicality of educators in the development of e-modules using guided inquiry models obtained an average of 0,44 in the medium category, while the practicality of learners on average results was 0,67 with a high category. The development of guided inquiry-based e-modules can be caategoriezed as valid and practical, so, for the development of e-modules using the guided inquiry model in physics learning can be continued to the next stage, namely the effectiveness test

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum is a solution to answer the challenges of the 21st century. The Indonesian government has supported the application of integrated science learning and improvement of 21st century skills in schools. However, the real condition in the schools showed that science skill of of students was still limited to science process skill. This can be seen from the value of critical thinking and creative thinking skills respectively 60.93 and 61.77. Both of these values were still in the sufficient category. The solution to this problem is to apply an interactive learning model on the theme of digestive health. The objective of this research is was to investigate the effect of applying the interactive learning model on digestive health theme to improve critical thinking, creative thinking, and knowledge of grade VIII students in SMPN 30 Padang. This type of research can be incorporated into the classroom action research method with the cycle model. The object of the research consisted of 32 students. The research instrument consisted of written test for aspect of knowledge and performance assessment sheet for skills aspect. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and paired comparison test. From the result of data analysis it can be stated the result of this research, namely the application of the interactive learning model of the integrated science is effective to improve critical thinking and creative thinking skills, and learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect of students. Thus, interactive learning model can be used as an alternative for science teachers to improve critical thinking and creative thinking skills of students in schools.

Abstract

Interactive multimedia provides a very important role in the learning process because using interactive multimedia can motivate students to learn so that ultimately learning objectives can be achieved as desired and can help students in facing educational challenges in the era of industrial globalization 4.0. This research was conducted with a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of interactive multimedia to improve learning outcomes, scientific literacy, and critical thinking skills of students in facing the challenges of education in the era of industrial globalization 4.0. The sample in this study was 5 (five) national journals that used interactive multimedia at the junior and senior high school level. The results of this study are: 1) interactive multimedia is most effectively used to improve student learning outcomes at the junior high school level; 2) interactive multimedia is most effectively used to improve students' critical thinking skills at the high school level, and 3) interactive multimedia is more effectively used at the junior secondary level and not at the senior secondary level in facing educational challenges in the era of industrial globalization 4.0
