Abstract

This research analyzes information content reflected in three local government reports in Indonesia (Local Government Finance Report (LKPD), Government Institution's Performance Accountability Report / GIPAR (LAKIP), and Government Management Report (LPPD)). The research was conducted in District and City Government in Indonesia utilizing data from 2015-2016. The findings indicate information redundance in all of those three reports, and, there is as well data inconsistence used therein. It shows that there is importance in designing comprehensive model of local government reports in Indonesia which suits the needs of the users.

Abstract

Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk memaparkan pengukuran dimensisuatu konstruk penelitian. Berkaitan dengan itu dijelaskan tentang skala pengukuran, yaitu skala Likert and skala semantic differentialserta perbandingan diantara keduanya. Selain itu, juga dijelaskan tentang analisis faktor, baik exploratory maupun confirmatory factor analysis. Lebih jauh, memberikan pengertianunidimensionality and multidimensionality dalam pengukuran konstruk. Untuk mendapatkan pemahaman perbedaan, diberikan contoh aplikasi pengukuran konstruk yang unidimensi dan multidimensi.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative descriptive study in accordance with the purpose of the study to describe the characteristics of a situation, namely identifying services provided by attendat rooms that can affect the satisfaction of the staying guests and the factors that need to be maintained. According to the research, it can be concluded that based on the results of the discussion on the analysis of the level of conformity there are several factors whose statements reach 100% even more, which means these factors can affect guest satisfaction because guests are satisfied with the services provided by room attendants, including a value of 101.4%, 102.9%, 102.8% and 103.3%. And also found that there is a degree of conformity between reality (x) and expectation (y) that is equal to 98.18%, which means that the quality of service provided by room attendants at Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel has given satisfaction to guests but can reach 100% or value maximum service must be improved so that guests feel more or more than their expectations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze eight traditional markets managed by the Padang City Government. This analysis is to provide recommendations for changes or improvements to each traditional market which is one of the drivers of the economy of community, especially Padang City. The method of data collection is carried out on two types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data through structured interviews in the form of questionnaires given to each buyer who visited eight traditional markets managed by the Padang City Government. While secondary data is obtained from agencies or agencies that are related to the object of research. The indicators used are hygiene factors, accessibility factors, merchant and goods factors, supporting support factors and supporting infrastructure factors. The results of the analysis conclude that from the eight traditional markets managed by Padang City Government, Bandar Buat Market, Tanah Kongsi Market, Alai Market and Market Siteba ranks Very Good. While the Simpang Haru Market, Ulak Karang Market and Lubuk Buaya Market have a Good rating, and the Belimbing Market has a Pretty Good rating. With these results, it is recommended to recommend a number of traditional markets that must be arranged, and developed, namely: Bandar Buat Market, Haru Simpang Tanah Kong, Ulak Karang, Alai, Siteba, Belimbing, and Lubuk Buaya, although the facilities are complete and the results of the buyer's assessment are good. Drainage repair, arrangement of parking locations, availability of clean water are things that must be considered to create security and comfort for buyers and sellers.

Abstract

Sharia tourism is a variety of tourism activities supported by facilities and services provided by the community, government and local government in accordance with sharia principles. Padang Beach as one of the sharia tourist destinations in Padang is also increasingly improving to produce images as family tourism and sharia tourism. Changes at Padang Beach today will certainly change consumer perceptions of Padang Beach. Therefore the formulation of the problem in this study is how the perception of brand values ​​and perceptions as well as the perception of prices for consumers towards sharia tourism on Padang Beach. The purpose of this study was to find out how the level of perceived value, brand perception and perceived price for consumers towards sharia tourism on Padang Beach. This study uses quantitative research methods. The population in this study were visitors who had visited Padang Beach before and after the renovated Padang Beach. Samples were taken as many as 70 samples with purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive statistical analysis and Likert Scale analysis. The results showed that the perception of consumer value on sharia tourism is good, the perception of consumer brands on sharia tourism is good and the perception of consumer prices on sharia tourism is good. So it can be concluded that consumer perceptions of sharia tourism on Padang Beach are currently good. Abstrak Pariwisata syariah adalah berbagai macam kegiatan wisata yang didukung fasilitas serta layanan yang disediakan masyarakat, pemerintah dan pemerintah daerah sesuai prinsip syariah. Pantai Padang sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata syariah di Padang juga semakin berbenah untuk menghasilkan citra sebagai wisata keluarga dan wisata syariah. Perubahan di Pantai Padang saat ini tentunya akan merubah persepsi konsumen terhadap Pantai Padang. Oleh karena itu rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tingkat persepsi nilai dan persepsi merek serta persepsi harga bagi konsumen terhadap wisata syariah di Pantai Padang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat persepsi nilai, persepsi merek dan persepsi harga bagi konsumen terhadap wisata syariah di Pantai Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengunjung yang pernah mengunjungi Pantai Padang sebelum dan sesudah Pantai Padang direnovasi. Sampel diambil sebanyak 70 sampel dengan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis Skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persepsi nilai konsumen terhadap wisata syariah adalah baik, persepsi merek konsumen terhadap wisata syariah adalah baik dan persepsi harga konsumen terhadap wisata syariah adalah baik. Jadi dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa persepsi konsumen terhadap wisata syariah di Pantai Padang saat ini sudah baik.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Padang sebagai perguruan tinggi vokasi yang lebih menerapkan pendidikan pada penguasaan keahlian juga memberikan pedidikan kewirauhaan kepada mahasiswanya. Teridentifikasi Beberapa mahasiswa Program Studi Administrasi Bisnis Politeknik Negeri Padang yang sudah berwirausaha di bidang bisnis online. Untuk mengetahui lebih dalam dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan mengetahui besar minat dan faktor-faktor pendorong yang mempengaruhi minat mahasiswa Program Studi Administrasi Bisnis Politeknik Negeri Padang dalam berbisnis online. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan pengumpulan data dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 70 mahasiswa Program Studi Administrasi Bisnis yang aktif perkuliahan pada semester genap 2017/2018. Hasil peyebaran kuesioner menujukkan bahwa 75% mahasiswa Program Studi Administrasi Bisnis berminat dalam berbisnis online. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of innovation on business performance in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Embroidery and Weaving in West Sumatra. This study uses a quantitative method with regression data analysis using SPSS to determine the effect of the two variables. The research location was West Sumatra with 205 respondents spread across 6 regions, namely Bukittinggi City, Pariaman City, Tanah Datar District, Padang City, Sawahlunto City and Payakumbuh City. The results of the study reveal that innovation has an influence on business performance in embroidery and embroidery craft SMEs in West Sumatra. The contribution of innovation in influencing business performance is 74, 7 percent while the rest is influenced by other factors not found in this study. The limitation of this study is that the method used is quantitative and for further research to be carried out with mixed methods between the two to be able to produce more in-depth conclusions. Furthermore, it is also suggested to be able to add several variables in looking at business performance in SMEs, especially SMEs, embroidery and weaving in West Sumatra.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional, spiritual and adversity quotient on employee loyalty in the organization. This study used a sample of 85 respondents residing at KCU BCA Kedoya Permai Tbk, Jakarta. The sampling method uses Purposive Sampling. The test model uses SPSS 22.0 version with a validity and reliability test that uses a significance level of 0.05 and a multicollinearity test, a normality test uses the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Hypothesis test uses the coefficient of determination test, t sta and F statistical test This study proves that Emotional Quotient, Spiritual Quotient and Adversity Quotient have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty in the organization. Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to review an old holy book of management: the nature of managerial work’s Mintzberg which originally published since 1973. The book is the answer of the young Mintzberg on what was his father do at the office. Mintzberg then details the kind of managers’ activities, managerial work characteristics, managerial basic role, managerial jobs variations, and management science. Briefly, the aim of the book is to develop a manager job description through management science approach. This book review paper emphasizes the last chapter as integrated basic research findings in three previous chapters. In literature review, there is explanation about the outline of the analysis that how theory is developed. The implication for stakeholders around manager and future work as discussed. Abstract

An area has its own income, usually derived from the transaction process carried out in it. This is called an economic indicator. This economic indicator is used to see the rate of economic growth that has levels from national to regional. At the regional level, such as provinces, districts / cities and even sub-districts, this is known as the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Because of its role as one of the main indicators in the economy, making this GDP automatically plays an important role. Therefore, the purpose of writing this article is to monitor economic developments that occur in the area, especially in Padang city as the capital of West Sumatra Province. The research method used is a qualitative method by describing the development of Padang City's GDP according to the field of business in 2014-2019 and conducting an analysis within a period of five years. The type of data used is primary data from the Regional Apparatus Organization in Padang and BPS as a source of secondary data. The results of the analysis illustrate that the economic structure of Padang city in 2018 is dominated by 4 sectors as seen from the distribution of the 2018 GDP percentage, namely; Large and Retail Trade, Car and Motorcycle Repair (16.91%), Transportation and Warehousing (16.73%), Manufacturing Industry (13.12%) and Construction (10.38%). These four sectors contributed 57.14% of the total 2018 GRDP which contributed to the 6.09% economic growth in Padang City. The fifth sector is Information and Communication by 6.97%.
