Abstract

The objectives of the research are to identify the potencies and characteristics of cracker SMEs and to analyze internal and external factors of upgrading enterprises scale strategies in Padang Munipacility. Data were analyzed by strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) and quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM) methods. Cracker SMEs have the similar characteristics in production, marketing, human resources, finance, legal, and supports from relevant institutions. Also, the production uses semi-manual process, SMEs sell their products through direct selling, store offline and online with a limited market share with employees are 2-15 people. Capital is relatively low and a few unit of cracker SMEs have legalityand certification. Local government plays an important role in developing cracker SMEs upgrading enterprise scale. The main strength is local taste products, and the main weakness is a limited area of marketing. The major opportunity as culinary tourism, but they also face tight competition as the main threat. The development strategy of food SMEs competitiveness includes increasing cooperation to maintain continuity of raw materials between regions, developing centers of SME products, and increasing role of local governments, private companies or stateowned enterprises, and universities.

Abstract

This article aims to examine three locations for the construction of a new traditional market in Padang City, which is the result of a recommendation from a research conducted by Suryani (2015). Through this research researchers will test 1 (one) location of the development of a new traditional market in the city of Padang. That is the location between Simpang Haru Market and Bandar Buat Market. The test results provide recommendations on whether or not the location requires a new traditional market. The methodology used is testing the new location with the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method, and the assessment indicator consists of the population, location development measured by socio-economic changes, people's spending habits around the location of the people's market development plan, the purchasing power of residents around the location of market development plans people, differences in social status, number, area, type and location of old markets, accessibility, and physical condition of the natural environment around the planned location of the construction of a new people's market. The results of the study concluded that the testing of the location between the Simpang Haru Market and the Bandar Buat Market resulted in a range of judgments that were in a position quite high. Figures with a fairly high predicate provide recommendations that in these locations require a traditional maid market that can serve the needs of society optimally in areas that are not included in the broad slice of the nearest traditional market

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know and analyze, (1) the influence of food quality to the satisfaction of the merchant of Langkitang in Padang beach resort area; (2) the influence of price to the satisfaction of the merchant of Langkitang in Padang beach resort area, 3) the influence of food quality and price simultaneously to the satisfaction of merchant consumers Langkitang pavement in the area of Padang Beach tourist attraction. Population in this research is all consumer of Langkitang merchant of pavement in Padang beach resort area. The number of samples in this study is 100 respondents which use accidental sampling technique. Based on the result of the research, it can be seen that: (1) The quality of food has a significant effect on the satisfaction of the consumers in the street vendors in Padang Beach tourist area, where t-count 2,685 from t-table 1,661 and significance 0,009 less than level of significant (α ) 0.05. (2) Price has a significant effect to customer satisfaction at Langkitang street vendors in Padang Beach tourist area, where t-count 2,564 > t-table 1,661 and significance 0.012 < level of significant (α) 0,05. (3) The quality of food and the price simultaneously have a significant effect on the satisfaction of the consumers on the street vendors in Padang Beach, where F-count is 19.496 > F-table 3.09 and the significance of 0.000 is < the level of significant (α) 0.05. (4) The coefficient of determination is 0,272, mean than food quality and price influence consumer satisfaction at trader Langkitang pavement in coastal resort area of Padang equal to 27,2%.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of social capital on the success of entrepreneurs in the city of Padang. The variables studied are network, trust, reciprocity, values, norms and proactive actions that affect the success of entrepreneurship. This research was conducted in 2015 using quantitative methods with correlation and regression analysis with the number of research samples of 58 entrepreneurs in Padang City. Research respondents are entrepreneur who have entrepreneurship at least 5 years and succeed which seen from amount of business profit and number of employees. The results showed that the six variables studied turned out to have the most dominant influence based on Standardized Coefficients beta is the variable trust (trust) that has a beta value of 0.376, then the network variable with beta value 0.366. While the variable resiprocity (0.184), norm (0.187), values (-0.023) and proactive action (-0.046). Limitations of this research is not yet classify entrepreneurship in the field of business so it has not been able to produce research in accordance with the field of entrepreneurial businesses in the city of Padang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of perceived value and perceived quality partially to the behavioral intention of tourists in Taplau Padang. The population in this study are domestic tourists visiting Taplau Padang. The number of samples in this study were 30 respondents which using the technique of non probability sampling. This study is proving the perceived value and perceived quality can influence the behavioral intention of tourists. This study is using descriptive quantitative analysis method which statistical hypothesis testing. Stages of testing the authors do include multiple linear regression test, t-statistical test and coefficient of determination (R2). Results of multiple linear regression analysis in obtaining value Y = 5.255 + 0.751 X1 + 0.233 X2 + e. Perceived value has a significant influence on the behavioral intention of tourists and perceived quality has no significant effect on the behavioral intention of tourists in Taplau Padang because the significant value is greater than 0.05. while simultaneously perceived value and perceived quality influence the behavioral intention of tourists in taplau Padang. And perceived value and perceived quality contribute to the influence of behavioral intention of 61.5% and the remaining 38.5% influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk memberikan pengertian dasar tentang bagaimana pengukuran suatu konstruk penelitian secara teoritis. Pengukuran adalah satu tahapan penting dalam suatu proses penelitian. Pengukuran diartikan sebagai penyelarasan angka-angka ke dalam bukti-bukti empiris sesuai peraturan pemetaan ilmu pengetahuan. Pengukurna menyiratkan memilih peristiwa empiris yang dapat diamati, mengembangkan seperangkat aturan pemetaan, dan menerapkan aturan pemetaan tersebut. Dalam penelitian, pengukuran diletakkan pada tahap perancangan, terutama pada pengumpulan data dan instrumen. Dalam tulisan ini diambil sebuah contoh bagaimana membuat skala pengukuran untuk Etika Kerja Islam.

Abstract

Today, entrepreneurship is one of the independence work that interested by some people which has independence self. The prime objective of this research is to investigate women entrepreneur in Padang (as know with struggle women in Minang clan). Moreover, this research also want to make clear about obstacles of business in order to women entrepreneur (they known as a community which almost spent time at home). The method of study is deepth of interviews to selected women entrepreneur in this city. The result shown that there are 3 factors become a huge women motivation for them, namely economic factors, environment influence and self actualization. Finally, a bighope to them is this is a opportunity to find a new work place for other in arounding them, especially their relatives.

Abstract

The ability of business management in establishing policies related to operational activities plays an important role in increasing the operating profit. Increased profit obtained is a picture of the increased performance of the business concerned. The main goal of the company is to maximize profit. Growth of operating profit is important for internal and external companies. The ability of a company to generate profits, during a certain period, can be seen in the income statement of the business concerned. The purpose of this activity is to know the development of cracker business in Kecamatan X Koto Singkarak Solok District and the sales and operating profit. Methods of this service activities are performed with several stages: initial discussion, implementation of activities, providing motivation and business assistance. Based on community service activities conducted, it can be concluded that: Community service activities in District X Koto Singkarak received a good response from Partners Working Business Crackers (Yus Family and Kapuah Saiyo). Cracker business is a household business, which can growing and improving. Yus Family business development has increased, this is evidenced by the innovation of products that are in demand by consumers. Growth in sales and operating profits are up in line with expectations, although they have not improved, as businesses have not been well-organized.

Abstract

The financial statements are one of the important sources of information and media used by corporate managers in the decision making process. PT ACSET Indonusa Tbk is the first construction company to offer its shares to the public on June 24, 2013. 2017 PT ACSET Indonusa Tbk acquires infrastructure projects in the form of Jakarta-Cikampek toll road with 49% portion of work. This study aims to analyze the financial ratios of PT. ACSET Indonusa Tbk period 2013-2016. The research method used is quantitative method and descriptive method. The results showed the liquidity ratio of PT. ACSET Indonusa Tbk is in good condition that the company can pay its current liabilities by using current assets, current assets minus inventories and cash. The company's solvability ratio is said to be less good, because it is above average of the industry > 50%, meaning the company's assets are financed by debt. The ratio of activity is below the industry average, it indicates that the use of assets is less good to generate sales. The latter profitability ratios are below average of industry, this indicates that the company is in poor condition, this causes the company must increase profit by reducing costs such as general and administrative costs, final tax costs and financial costs.

Abstract

Most of tourism research findings indicated tourism activities shares positivities such as welfareness of the communities suround the tourism area. In contradiction, Sikakap as a district within Mentawai Islands regency, is not benefited by the tourist visit whose come for surfing, a special interest tourism. Therefore, trough this research, Sikakap potency is being analysis for the possibility to be developed as tourism destination. In finding the potency of Sikakap, the SWOT approach was utilised to analysed the 4A (accesibilities, attractions, ammenities, ancillary services) components of destination. The result shows eventhough there were more weaknesess than strength, Sikakap still able to be developed as a tourism destination.
