Abstract

This research aims to identify the participatory interpretation of Moslem mothers as theaudience of the halal’s product advertisement. The theory used in this research isreception analysis to see how the media and audiences interact with one another as theagent. The research object is the TV commercial of Total Almeera – the first halaldetergent in Indonesia. The technique of data collection is by conducting a FocusGroup Discussion consisted of Moslem mothers and career educators. The results of theresearch found that most participants indicate the position of the dominant (hegemonicreading) which contained beliefs as adherents of Islam. Being a small percentage ofparticipants indicating position negotiated reading or basically received but felt halal isnot enough before there is no guarantee of passes the test for sensitive skin. As for themeaning of "hijra", most of the participants indicate the position of the dominant(hegemonic reading) that the participants feel savvy and familiar with the word Hijra.While a small percentage of participants indicating position of opposition (counterhegemonic reading), or reject the use of the concept of hijrah on TV commercial since itassumes not all moslems audience.

Abstract

The influence of the Prophet Muhammad as the bearer of the Islamic message is known plural. It is also about his prophetic and apostolic. The thing that is rarely discussed is Muhammad's position as a political communicator. In this case Muhammad is certainly an actor in the process of political communication in Medina. History calls the long journey of forming the Medina State under the reign of Muhammad starting from zero to become an area that was calculated at that time. It is not excessive for Muhammad to be called as a political actor in the establishment of Medina as well as political communicator in the government of Medina.  In political communication, it is mentioned that political actors can form a public opinion, which then becomes consensus and mutually agreed. Thus, Muhammad has fulfilled that element in his leadership over Medina. In the process of political communication, there are important elements such as political communicators, messages delivered, and targets to the political communication effect that made Muhammad in Medina. The interesting thing for studied is Muhammad's political communication strategy. Where is as a political communicator, Muhammad was able to unite the heterogeneity and pluralism of the community who then agreed and want to be under his leadership in Medina. This paper is a literature study with an analytical descriptive approach as a way of describing and explaining historical facts relating to the role of Muhammad as a political communicator. From the results of the research, it was found that Muhammad had a brilliant political communication strategy. These strategies are: 1) The credibility of political communicators; 2) Create culture together and the elimination of racism as a political message; 3) Medina Charter as a target of political communication; 4) The practice of negotiation in political communication; 5) Selection of appropriate media in political communication. The entire political communication strategy of Muhammad can be seen from the elements of political communication. The author mentions that the Prophet Muhammad as the leader of Medina at that time has a communication strategy that goes far beyond the existing contemporary theory.

Abstract

In game design, in addition to having a powerful and interesting gameplay concept, creator should pay attention to the visual aspect embodied in the visual design of the game. Visual aspect is so important to attract user to play it, especially in Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) genre game. With the support of visual design, users can easily understand and follow the gameplay faster and and surely they can understand the ability of each character with ease. This research tries to study the visual design and characters design of Arena Of Valor game. With visual perception theory and manga matrix theory to gain an understanding of the visual approach and creator considerations in the game visual design. Hopefully this research can be used as the basis reference for further MOBA game development.

Abstract

In story telling a film has a structure that has been generally done by Hollywood and until now still valid, even reaching out to the whole world. Hollywood has been doing so since the year 1910, which continues to grow until it is said to be perfect in the era of voiced movies. Films that use story structures of the era can achieve success. The films that achieve the success in question, is a movie that reaches the number of spectators is quite fantastic, which is now known as the movie box office. The influence of the story structure in films is, in fact, one of the film's main filmmaking strategies. The structure of the Hollywood story is one of Hollywood's movie formats, which David Bordwell says are known as the Classical Hollywood Structure.

Abstract

Post-Reform Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism (KKN) practices involvingexecutives, judiciary and legislatures continue to increase, as the State Budget(APBN) and the Regional Budget (APBD) sped up. One of the causes is theweakness of transparency of budget management. The regency government ofBatang, Central Java in the era of Yoyok Riyo Sudibyo Regent (2012-2017) seeksto create local budget transparency by holding Budget Festival (FA) containingaccountability report of APBD and development program of previous year. Inaddition to implementing e-Government, auctioning offices and establishingPublic Service Quality Improvement Unit (UPKP2). This study uses qualitativemethods, case studies and triangulation of data with the aim of: 1) Analyzing thecommunication policy process and communication policy making process FA 2)Assessing obstacles in the implementation of FA policy. Result of research:following the change of leadership, Regent of Batang period 2017-2022, Wihajiremove in the administration of the governance. However, Wihaji remainscommitted to implement transparent, accountable and participatory governanceby strengthening e-Government and Smart City. Pemkab Batang is advised tocontinue the transparency program of APBD governance through the BudgetFestival in accordance with the current condition. This gait is important tomaintain a strong social interaction between bureaucrats and people in the digitalage. As well as the identity and characteristics of the region in supporting thedevelopment of identity-based flagship areas to improve the competitiveness (citybranding).

Abstract

This study try to apply the promotion of communications collectively on the products of the village community with model pamphlet commerce and analyze the level of sales before and after promotion with model pamphlet commerce is applied. The results of this study are expected to minimally be able to overcome the impasse of marketing of village products that are less widespread and often trapped by the realtor marketing system. This research method using research development approach (R&D) of data in a limited, the research shows that the hypothesis testing on the application of pamphlet model commerce product of the village community as a joint promotion communication conducted in the sub-district waringinkurung generated t hitung  of -2.463, which then the value is compared with the value of t table with degrees of freedom (dk) = n1 + n2 7 + 7 = 14 - 2 = 12. and the error rate of 5%, then t table (0.05) (12) = -2.178 and in accordance with the test criteria that have been determined the results of the comparative hypothesis post test) on the implementation of the trade pamphlet t is less than t table (-2,463 <-2,178) so that the meaning is there is a significant difference in the effectiveness of product sales performance of villagers in Waringin Kurung subdistrict before and after the application of commercial pamphlet model as a promotion communication with him.

Abstract

Many parents are still unaware of the dangers of the internet and gadgets forchildren. Problems such as sore eyes, nerve damage, change of posture, as well asfatigue due to due to playing the gadget for too long are the hidden dangers of the useof the gadgets and the internet. Views that display adult content such as violence, drugs,pornography, to the LGBT behavior can be seen by the children. The impact of that cancause mental retardation, early maturing, to violence or undue behavior committed bychildren. Based on these phenomena, Mutiara Bunda school conducts a parentingprogram about the dangers of the internet and gadgets for children. Parenting programis an educational program outside the classroom that requires cooperation between theschool and the parents. Parenting programs are based on the fact that children spendmore time at home than in school, therefore parents need to get the educational valuesof the parenting program. In this case is related to the use of gadgets and the internetare unhealthy for children. Parenting program is a good form of cooperation betweenthe school and parents in producing children who are intelligent and virtuous as thefuture generation.
