Abstract

Hypertension is one of the main health problems faced by people throughout the world, including in Indonesia. Uncontrolled hypertension can cause various complications such as heart disease, stroke and kidney damage. Microalbuminuria, namely the presence of small amounts of albumin in the urine, is an early indicator of kidney damage. In hypertensive patients, microalbuminuria can be an early sign of hypertensive nephropathy, which is a serious complication of high blood pressure. Compliance with taking medication affects blood pressure control. This study aims to evaluate the relationship between adherence to antihypertensive medication and microalbumin levels in hypertension prolanis patients. This research is observational analytic with a cross sectional approach. Data was obtained prospectively in the period July-August 2024 with a sample size of 33 respondents. Medication adherence was taken using a questionnaire, and data on microalbuminuria levels was obtained through medical record data. Next, the results were subjected to a chi-square statistical correlation test. Microalbumin levels and medication adherence blood pressure lowering medication, obtained a value of p = 0.0 (p < 0.05) which indicates that statistically there is a significant relationship between microalbumin levels and compliance of taking blood pressure lowering medication. The frequency distribution of hypertensive sufferers with high microalbumin levels, namely ≥ 30 mg/dL, shows a result of 51.6% (17 patients).

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease and silent killer characterized by hyperglycemia. Type 2 DM has become a global health crisis. This disease causes serious life-threatening health problems with high medical costs, decreased quality of life and increased mortality which causes uncertainty where patients feel they no longer care about their disease and the solution to overcome this with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Quantitative research type, Quasi-Experiment design with pretest-posttest. The population amounted to 319 people, sample selection by purposive means, a sample of 36 people. The instrument used a questionnaire. The statistical test used Wilcoxon Test. The results of the Wilcoxon test value = 0.000 < (0.005) means that there is an effect of cognitive bahavior therapy on intolerance of uncertainty in Type II Diabetes Mellitus patients at the Amplas Health Center in 2024. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that there is an effect of cognitive bahavior therapy on intolerance of uncertainty in Type II DM patients. It is expected that DM patients with intolerance of uncertainly use non-pharmacological methods, namely cognitive behavior therapy to reduce intolerance of uncertainly.

Abstract

Stress is generally being experienced by most of the nurses due to the duration of working hours and the number of patients. The high workload of nurses often results in fatigue, loss of concentration at work, the ability to remember information is very limited, being emotional and apathetic. This research is an analytic survey, with cross-sectional design in which the independent and dependent variables were examined simultaneously to determine the relationship between the nurse workload and stress level of nurses in the ICU wards of Dr. Pirngadi Regional General Hospital. This study uses primary data which were obtained by using questionnaires and secondary data were obtained from the medical record, with questionnaire instruments. The entire population were nurses in the ICU wards and samples in this study consisted of 24 nurses taken by total sampling technique. Based on the results of the chi square test at work variable, it is found that the X2 count 3.154, which means there is not any relationship between working hours and the level of stress of nurses working in the ICU, and the variable of the number of patients X2 count 6,446 which means there is a relationship between number of patients with stress level for nurses in the ICU wards. The study's findings indicate that while there is a correlation between the number of patients and nurses' stress levels in the General Hospital's intensive care unit wards, there is no correlation between working hours and nurses' stress levels.

Abstract

Compulsive and impulsive buying behaviors have become increasingly prevalent in modern society, particularly among medical students who have easy access to online shopping. This study aims to explore the relationship between compulsive and impulsive buying tendencies and online shopping behaviors among students from the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Prima Indonesia, specifically the Class of 2023. Using an analytical survey method and a cross-sectional approach, data were collected from a purposive sample of 100 students. Questionnaires were administered to assess the levels of compulsive and impulsive buying. The results indicated a significant moderate positive correlation between compulsive and impulsive buying behaviors and online shopping, with a correlation coefficient of r=0.445 (p<0.001). This research aims to enhance the understanding of shopping behavior in the digital era and to assist in developing strategies to prevent unhealthy shopping habits.
