Jurnal Ilmiah Syi’ar, published by Da’wah Faculty of Bengkulu State Islamic Institut since 2007. The subject covers textual and fieldwork studies with various focuses of communication, conseling, development and empowerment of community, management, and many more (the central focus of Islamic sciences). In the beginning the journal only served as a scholarly forum for the lecturers and professors at internal of the Institute. However, due to the later development with a broader readership, the journal has successfully invited scholars and researchers outside the Institute to contribute.

Abstract

Although much has been written about the work of social workers, but the practiceof social workers in Indonesia still leaves an empty space to be studied, betweeenis the issue of ethical values. As a profession that was not born in Indonesia, a social worker in praktikya in Indonesia can be exposed to the values and ethical issues, including religious and ethical values and culture. In the social work profession will face two dilemmas and ethical values: (1) the values and ethics that exist in society as a client, (2) values and ethics in social work profession itself. Both can affect the social workers make decisions in the professional practice of social workers.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an merupakan kitab petunjuk sekaligus regulasi yang mengatur seluruh aspek kehidupan.  Kendati masalah-masalah yang dibicarakan terkadang bersifat global yang membutuhkan uraian dan kajian lebih lanjut.  Eksistensi al-Qur’an sebagai firman Allah seharusnya selalu diposisikan sebagai acuan dalam merespon dan memberikan solusi  terhadap persoalan-persoalan kemanusiaan.

Abstract

Persoalan sains dan agama merupakan kajian yang tidak pernah hasbis untuk dikaji dan didiskusikan. Kedua memiliki keunikan dan dapat secara terus menerus sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman dan ilmu pengetahuan. Dalam perkembangannya antara sains dan agama memang terdapat perbedaan dikalangan ilmuan menempatkan hubungan antara sains dan agama, baik yang berpandangan konflik maupun yang berpandangan adanya upaya mengintegrasikannya. Dalam kajian ini dapat ditarik benang merah antara keduanya dalam upaya mendialogkannya, yaitu agama dapat dijadikan sebagai pembimbing dan pengarah bagi saintis, agar apa yang dihasilkan dapat berfungsi untuk kesejahteraan manusia baik dunia dan akhirat. Hal ini sejalan dengan tujuan sains maupun agama yang sama-sama untuk kesejahteraan manusia, sehingga sains dan agama adalah sesuatu yang tidak dapat di pisahkan satu sama lainnya. Karena agama tidak ditafsirkan semata-mata dengan pendekatan teologis normatif, sehingga dibutuhkan pendekatan interdisipliner, multidisipliner dan transdisipliner, sehingga keduanya memiliki kekuatan untuk  saling menopang dan mengutkan.

Abstract

God created creatures called Umm, the Indonesian people call with a call mom, mother, ummi, mama, and so forth. The phrase was only given to women who become and serve someone who is highly respected and cherished because they are given the responsibility by Allah to pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and also education. Dignity of a mother is very high compared to the other. A heavy resposibility in the form of right and obligations of the mother is what should be understood. So that a child can position the mother in the correct position and is more than the father. It has been explained that the mother is the women who gave bisrt. Therefore the position of the mother is high and mother very broad meaning very large so it's natural rights are required to worship him.
