Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the direct effect of usefulness and ease of use on consumer behavior and interest, as well as the indirect effect of usefulness and ease of use on consumer behavior and interest. The research method used is quantitative, with data analysis techniques Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS. The respondents of this research are the people of Denpasar City who are customers of PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Bali Renon Branch Office that uses e-wallet in financial transactions, totaling 90 people. The results showed that the usefulness and ease of use had a positive effect on consumer behavior. While the usefulness and ease of use have a positive effect on interest. Consumer behavior has a positive effect on interest. Consumer behavior is a variable that partially mediates the effect of usefulness and ease of use.

Abstract

The quality of hospital services is influenced by human resource factors. Human resources who are in direct contact with patients are nurses. Nurses are at the forefront of dealing with patients 24 hours a day, therefore quality, qualified nursing resources are needed and capable of caring behavior. Caring behavior is the essence of nursing that distinguishes nurses from other professions. The phenomenon that occurred in the era of the covid-19 pandemic had an impact on the high workload experienced by nurses due to an increase in the number of patients, thus affecting nurses in actualizing caring behavior. This study aims to identify what factors influence nurses in actualizing caring behavior in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. The study was designed as an observational study using cross sectional data collection methods. The instrument used is a questionnaire filled out by respondents determined by random sampling. The sample consisted of 139 respondents, namely nurses in the Inpatient Room at the Bali Mandara Hospital, Bali Province. The data analysis technique used in this study was SPSS Version 25.0 and Amos for Windows 23.0, starting with the evaluation process of SEM assumptions through an evaluation of the normality of the data, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and analysis of the effect with SEM. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive influence between leadership, organizational culture and work environment on job satisfaction. There is a significant positive influence between leadership, organizational culture and work environment on the caring behavior of nurses. And there is a significant positive effect between job satisfaction and caring behavior of nurses.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has prompted an adaptation of new habits. In the health sector, telemedicine has developed into an option to reach health services. Health practitioners and patients are getting used to using telemedicine. However, with the easing of the pandemic situation in the new normal era, the sustainability of telemedicine is a concern. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of telemedicine for its users and how telemedicine can be a strategy for hospitals. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Respondents in this study consisted of hospital leaders, specialist doctors, and patients at several hospitals in Bali. Validation of data using triangulation technique. SWOT analysis is used to analyze telemedicine as a hospital strategy. The results of this study found that telemedicine was felt to be effective for use as a health service. This is based on the user's perceived benefits and success in meeting health care needs. As a hospital strategy based on SWOT analysis, telemedicine has strong strengths and opportunities compared to its weaknesses and threats. Telemedicine has become an effective health service for patients and health practitioners. As a strategy, hospitals can develop telemedicine to be even more advanced by improving quality that prioritizes cost efficiency, time, and effectiveness of therapy. This is based on the user's perceived benefits and success in meeting health care needs. Abstract

Banking developments that adopt digital technology are growing rapidly. This is not spared from the competition between financial institutions which is very tight. One of them is the banking sector. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence Bank BNI customers in using digital service machines, namely Digi CS using the Digital Customer Service Machine Using the Human Organization Technology (HOT-FIT) Model. Location this research was conducted at Bank BNI Renon Branch, Denpasar City, Bali Province. This research is a descriptive quantitative research with 134 respondents who are customers of Bank BNI Renon Branch as a sample using accidental sampling. Data were obtained through open questionnaires with an interval scale of 1 to 10 points which were distributed to measure or obtain opinions or responses from customers regarding the eight variables in this study, namely System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, System Use, User Satisfaction, Organization Structure, Environment and Net Benefits. Data analysis in this study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through the Part Lease Square (PLS) approach with the SmartPLS 3.2 program. The results of the study show that the Technology Factor, namely the Information Quality, Service Quality, System Quality variables, has an influence on the human factor, namely System Use, User Satisfaction where the human factor also influences Net Benefits. In addition, organizational factors, namely Structure, have an effect on net benefits, but not on Environment, which do not affect net benefits.

Abstract

Married female workers in Bali face various challenges related to work, culture, and household responsibilities, often resulting in conflicts in their roles. These role conflicts affect both their work productivity and quality of life. This study aims to explore the different types of role conflicts that occur and the efforts made to avoid such conflicts and achieve work-life balance. Using qualitative methods and a phenomenological analysis approach, data was collected through semi-structured interviews with 10 female workers in the formal sector in Bali. The study found that two categories of role conflicts occur: work interference with personal life and personal life interference with work. The efforts made to resolve these conflicts include maintaining good communication, involving family members to help with tasks, and managing work schedules. In achieving work-life balance, the study found that family support and other factors positively influence work performance. Female workers can also contribute to their family's financial needs and have a desire to apply their knowledge to their work. Overall, this study highlights the importance of addressing role conflicts among married female workers in Bali to enhance their work productivity and quality of life.

Abstract

This study aims at exploring factors that explain specialist doctors’ acceptance of a new technology adoption, particularly electronic medical record (EMR) adoption, which is still relatively low in Indonesia. Qualitative approach through interviews with specialist doctors was conducted to answer research questions. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dan Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) were applied as guiding theories. Data were analyzed by using coding and theming method. This study suggests a comprehensive model that explains factors determining the acceptance of a new technology, particularly EMR. This model consists of two major explanatory variables, namely: perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. The two major explanatory variables are explained by three factors, namely: 1. External factor influences (image, training, and managerial support); 2. Cognitive instrumental process (computer anxiety, computer self-efficacy, and computer playfulness); 3. Perceived barriers (system integration and internet network/connection). Findings of this study could be used as a valuable reference by hospital managers to better understand factors that could influence the success of a new technology adoption. Even though this study was conducted in hospital context, the model offered might also be applied in other industries context that have plan to implement a new technology.
