Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Shari'ah Supervisory Board Characteristics (DPS Size, DPS Education Level, and DPS Expertise) and Board of Commissioners Size on Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) Disclosure at Shari'ah Commercial Banks in 2018. Population in this study is a Sharia Commercial Bank in Indonesia in 2018. Data is obtained from the bank's annual report. The data is presented and analyzed quantitatively using multiple linear regression. Based on the analysis conducted, it is known that the Shari'ah Supervisory Board Size, Shari'ah Supervisory Board Education Level and the Shari'ah Supervisory Board Expertise partially have no significant effect on Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) Disclosure, while the Size of the Board of Commissioners has a significant effect on Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) Disclosures. Simultaneously, DPS Characteristics and Board of Commissioners Size significantly influence Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) Disclosure.

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the implications of halal certification for the halal product business in Indonesia. The issue of halal has become a global trend marked by the presence of halal certification institutions in various parts of the world. This paper uses descriptive qualitative methods through a review of relevant literature and observations of the practice of implementing halal guarantee systems in Indonesia. Data obtained through journals, books, magazines, newspapers, electronic media, such as the official website of LPPOM MUI and personal communication with competent sources. The results showed that the certification of halal products has positive implications in building a halal business climate in Indonesia. For consumers, halal certification provides protection, guarantees, product halal information and becomes an instrument of business ethics. For business people, halal certification provides benefits to increase consumer confidence and reach the global halal food market.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh quick ratio (QR) dan financing to deposit ratio (FDR) terhadap return on Assets (ROA) di PT Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji asumsi klasik dan regresi linear berganda. Uji asumsi klasik terdiri dari, uji normalitas, uji autokorelasi, uji heterokedastisitas, dan uji multikolinearitas. Uji statistik menggunakan uji determinasi, uji t, dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, quick ratio (QR) secara parsial memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap return on assets (ROA) pada PT. Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah. Financing to deposit ratio (FDR) secara parsial berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap return on assets (ROA) pada PT. Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah. Sedangkan secara simultan berdasarkan hasil uji statistik F, variabel independen quick ratio (QR) dan financing to deposit ratio (FDR) secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel dependen return on assets (ROA) dengan nilai probabilitas kurang dari 0.05. Kemampuan prediksi dari kedua variabel tersebut terhadap return on assets (ROA) sebesar 13,6%, sedangkan sisanya 86.4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model regresi.

Abstract

This research aims to data This research aims to determine whether the influence of human resources competence on the level of customer loyalty in the BPRS Harta Insan Karimah branch Karawaci. This type of research is field research with a quantitative approach with 40 respondents. Data that is used is the result of the processing of answers respondents to the questionnaire that was shared by researchers to customers of PT. BPRS Harta Insan Karimah branch Karawaci. The results of this study concluded that the competency of human resources has a positive effect on the level of customer loyalty, as the test result obtained by t Account of 4.886 is greater than the This IE 2.024 (4.886 > 2.024). Based on the test T shows a significant result of 0.000 < 0.05 which means that human resource competence significantly affects the level of customer loyalty. Based on the results the correlation coefficient indicates a strong and positive relationship between the two variables and the result of the coefficient of determination can be known that independent variables describe the dependent variable by 38.6%.

Abstract

This study seeks to provide an overview of the management of waqf management at the Raodhatul Jannah mosque, Jene Tallasa Village, Gowa Regency. The not yet certified waqf land can jeopardize the donated land in the future. The quality of human resources for managing mosques is also lacking in quality in developing waqf assets to be more productive. This study aims to provide an overview to the parties involved, in this case waqf, regarding the nature of waqf in Indonesia which has been unproductive and many have not been certified as a consideration for increasing the use of waqf assets in the future. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The result of this research is the problematic management of waqf in Raodhatul Jannah mosque lies in the land of waqf which is not yet certified due to inevitable obstacles. Most of the mosque managers only run religious and social programs and have not focused on developing waqf assets in a more productive direction.

Abstract

Millennial generation is consumption oriented generation. They are smart, trendsetter, and brand conscious. One of the products which is consumed by millennial generation is cosmetic products. Consumption of global halal cosmetics had a significant increased by 4.9 percent in 2018 or reached USD 64 billion where Indonesia is the second country as a global halal cosmetics consumer with a total expenditure of USD 4 billion. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing millennial generation in their decision to purchase halal MUI certified cosmetics. This research conducted in East Jakarta, Indonesia with 100 respondents. The method used in this research is logistic regression analysis. The result shows that halal knowledge, halal awareness, and brand image had a significant positive influence on the decision to purchase cosmetics labeled Halal MUI by the millennial generation of East Jakarta. It is expected that domestic cosmetic manufacturers will immediately certify and labeling halal MUI as a form of consumer protection. This is also important in increasing domestic cosmetic production, and to make Indonesia becomes manufacturer of halal cosmetic products.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influenced of motivation and knowledge of students the study program Islamic banking on invest interest stock in the Islamic Capital Market. The sample in this research is 67 students. The test of the instrument was analyzed by using validity test and reliability test. The analysis technique used in this study is the descriptive statistics, classic assumption test and multiple linear regression. The classical assumption test consists of, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test. Hypothesis test use the determination test, F test, and t test. The results showed that, motivation partially has an insignificant positive influence on invest interest stock in the Islamic Capital Market. Knowledge partially had a significant positive influence on invest interest stock in the Islamic Capital Market. Meanwhile, simultaneously based on the results of the F statistical test, the independent variables of motivation and knowledge together have a significant and positive influence on the dependent variable invest interest stock. The predictive ability of these two variables on invest interest stocks is 46.0%, while the remaining 54.0% is influenced by other variables outside the regression model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the significance effect of Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Operasional Activity Efficiency Ratio (REO), Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Inflation toward Return On Asset (ROA) at Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia Period 2014-2019, both simultaneously and partially. The population in this study were all Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia period 2014-2019, while the sample in this study were 4 (four) Sharia Commercial Banks in the period of 2014-2019, which were selected using purposive sampling technique. The analysis model in this study is a multiple linear regression analysis model, and the analysis technique used the simultaneous test (F test), determination coefficient test (R2), and partial test (t test). The result of this study showed that the FDR, REO, NPF and Inflation simultaneously have a significant effect toward ROA at Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia period 2014-2019. Furthermore FDR partially has a positive but not significant effect toward ROA, REO partially has a negative and significant effect toward ROA, NPF partially has a negative but not significant effect toward ROA, and Inflation partially has a positive and significant toward ROA at Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia period 2014-2019.

Abstract

The Amil Zakat Institute (LAZ) is an institution licensed to assist the National Board of Zakat (Baznas) in collecting, distributing, and utilizing zakat. One of the main tasks of the LAZ is to distribute zakat to mustahiq in the Very Effective category. This study compares the effectiveness of zakat disbursement at the Amil Zakat institution. The effectiveness of the allocation-to-collection ratio (ACR) method was determined using Zakat core principles (ZCP). The objects used in this research are the financial statements of the National Zakat Institute, including LAZ IZI, LAZ Rumah Zakat, and LAZ Dewan Dakwah. Measurements were performed from 2015 to 2019. The results of the study found that the level of disbursement effectiveness from 2016 to 2019 was LAZ Dewan Dakwah (n=101% highly effective category), LAZ IZI (n=92% highly effective category) ), and LAZ Rumah Zakat (n=88% effective category). The implication is that the three LAZs have advantages in terms of their disbursement. Therefore, it is suggested to optimize the collection of zakat through LAZ. Therefore, the benefits of zakat are increasingly felt by mustahiq

Abstract

Wakaf merupakan salah satu filantropi Islam yang dapat menjadi alternatif sebagai pemerata kesejahteraan dan pengurang kemiskinan. Instrumen ini memiliki potensi yang cukup besar di Indonesia. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang dilakukan oleh Nasution (2005), wakaf uang memiliki potensi 3 triliun Rupiah per tahun. Namun, angka potensi tersebut belum teroptimalkan dengan baik. Dengan adanya era digitalisasi, beberapa nazhir memberikan fasilitas wakaf online untuk memaksimalkan potensi wakaf uang yang tersedia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik wakif online serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi wakif dalam berwakaf online. Sebanyak 90 responden wakif online telah diteliti, dengan proporsi 30 wakif berasal dari tiga lembaga wakaf yang berbeda diantaranya Dompet Dhuafa, Rumah Zakat, dan Global Wakaf. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi wakif dalam berwakaf online adalah analisis faktor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi wakif dalam berwakaf online terbagi menjadi lima faktor yaitu faktor kualitas informasi; pelayanan; kepercayaan; kualitas website; dan promosi
