Abstract

In the ever-changing landscape of the global economy, the role of the United States Dollar (USD) as the backbone of the international financial system significantly influences market stability and dynamics. The close correlation between fluctuations in the USD exchange rate and internal and external factors demands effective prediction methods to understand and manage associated risks. This study aims to compare the performance of three main prediction methods: Single Exponential Smoothing (SES), Holt's Method, and Holt-Winters Method, in forecasting USD exchange rates. Utilizing historical data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and testing under three training data distribution scenarios (45%, 55%, and 75%), this research provides in-depth findings on the strengths and weaknesses of each prediction method. Performance evaluations include the time required, Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Squared Error (MSE), Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), R-Squared, and correlation for the implementation of each method. If averaged, the results are as follows for SES, Holt’s, and Holt’s Winter, respectively: SES (1.58; 284.20; 68,768.26; 440.07; 0.03; -2.12; Nan), Holt’s (1.39; 890.23; 426,377.44; 1,043.28; 0.06; -24.28; -0.66), and Holt’s Winter (1.20; 997.45; 513,657.58; 1,168.00; 0.07; -30.62; -1.55). Overall, this indicates that the Holt-Winters Method stands out with significant performance, especially in scenarios with larger training data distributions, with a low R-Squared value (-4.618) and satisfactory correlation (0.417). Holt's Method also shows improved accuracy, while Single Exponential Smoothing (SES) offers time efficiency, albeit with limitations in explaining data variations. In conclusion, this research provides valuable guidance for business stakeholders, investors, and policymakers in selecting prediction methods suitable for their data characteristics and analysis goals, with the potential for a positive impact on business strategies, competitiveness, and risk management amid the uncertainty of USD exchange rate fluctuations.

Abstract

Lombok has become a favorited tourist destination in the world. Therefore, tourism is a mainstay sector in regional development in West Nusa Tenggara. The contribution of the tourism sector shows an increasing trend. Tourist expenditures are distributed to various sectors. The tourism sector has a positive impact on the regional economy. The local government has prepared to improve the quality and quantity of tourism in Lombok. The results of local government efforts need to be analyzed so that future policies are on target. Analysis can be done on the satisfaction of tourists who travel to Lombok. It would be very difficult to get satisfaction data from all tourists through questionnaires. But on the other hand, tourist satisfaction is usually posted on their social networks. One of the social media that is widely used by tourists is Twitter. Their tweets contain not only expressions of natural beauty but also criticism, suggestions, and complaints during their visit. In addition, the tweet data on twitter is open access. This study tries to analyze the sentiment on Twitter which contains tweets of tourists who have visited Lombok. Sentiment analysis is performed using the Polynomial Naive Bayes Classifier. Sentiment results are classified into positive and negative sentiments. The results of this sentiment are expected to help related agencies or other tourism actors to improve the quality and quantity of regional tourism. The results showed that the positive sentiment on the security factor were 50.65%, the cost 75.32%, accommodation 62.33% and the cleanness factor 77.92%.

Abstract

This research examines the significant impact of technological advances, especially in the Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm, on various aspects of human life strongly manifested during the In-dustrial Revolution Era 4.0. The main focus of this research is on the application of advanced and innovative IoT concepts in the context of smart homes, integrating popular platforms such as Apple HomeKit and Google Home. The temperature sensor (DHT11) and light sensor (LDR) play a key role as important input elements, enabling the optimization of smart home automation functions. Raspberry Pi 4B was chosen as the main platform, the "brain" of the system, providing reliable computing capabilities. Using four-channel relays, this research specifically aims to increase ef-ficiency and integration in controlling devices in the smart home ecosystem. By emphasizing the concept of optimization, this research proposes a smart solution that is expected to not only provide an integrated and efficient experience for smart home users but also unlock the potential for further development of IoT technology. As a result, the implementation of the solutions proposed in this research is expected to create a smart home that is not only technologically smart but also responsive to the needs and preferences of its occupants, paving the way for further in-novation in the development and application of the Internet of Things in various contexts of human life.

Abstract

Cats are an integral part of human life, but their health needs are often complicated for their owners. This research proposes and implements a Chatbot system using Natural Language Processing (NLP) through the Dialogflow framework to provide advice on cat care and treatment. This method is intended to help cat owners understand basic care needs and identify symptoms of illness their cat may be exhibiting. Using Dialogflow as the main framework enables intuitive and responsive interactions between chat owners and Chatbots. This system has gone through comprehensive stages of analysis, development and testing to ensure reliability and accuracy in providing cat health care information. This test also includes several real-life cases to validate the Chatbot's ability to provide appropriate treatment advice and solutions for cat health problems. The results of this research show that the application of Chatbots via Dialogflow has great potential in helping cat owners in caring for and dealing with diseases in cats. With the ability to understand natural language and provide accurate information, this Chatbot can be a useful tool to increase cat owners' understanding of proper care and early treatment of possible illnesses in their pets.

Abstract

The increasing awareness of the importance of maintaining forest cleanliness as a primary ecosystem is becoming more urgent, especially in remote areas with limited deep socialization. This research aims to develop an innovative game titled "HABERTAN" focusing on waste sorting in forest areas to raise public awareness of the waste present in the forest. By utilizing a 3D model for visual assets with stages of 2D sketch, 3D modeling, UV Mapping, and Texture Baking. The development of this game is conducted using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) method. The ADDIE method is used to ensure a systematic game development process, starting from needs analysis to performance evaluation. The goal of this game is to provide players with an interactive experience that not only entertains but also provides a deep understanding of the impact of waste on forest sustainability. The game "HABERTAN (Let's Clean the Forest)" is designed to provide players with a fun and educational learning experience. The results of the development of this game show that "HABERTAN" provides a unique experience for players, with the ability to learn while playing. It is hoped that this game can be an effective tool in raising public awareness of the importance of maintaining forest cleanliness, especially in the context of waste sorting. Through this innovative approach, it is hoped to encourage active participation from the community in preserving forests as extremely valuable natural resources.

Abstract

Indonesia has many monuments spread from Sabang to Merauke, because of the many historical events. So, to be able to explore the historical monuments spread across Indonesia, can only be done by visiting the region, so not all levels of people can easily visit all regions of Indonesia. Based on these problems, an application was created which aims to be an educational medium for introducing historical monuments in Indonesia using Augmented Reality technology. By utilizing Augmented Reality as an interactive educational medium, it is hoped that it can increase interest in learning from many groups by using smartphones to introduce historical monuments in Indonesia and obtain information and visualization with 3D objects. The research method that will be used in this research has four stages including data collection, application design and application creation, evaluation and conclusions. Application design uses Augmented Reality technology with the MDLC (Multi-media Development Life Cycle) approach method. Based on the results of Black Box testing, all functional systems in the application can function properly. The final results of the evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) testing method with 30 respondents received a score of 77.166. So, it can be concluded from this assessment that the Augmented Reality application as an educational medium for historical monuments in Indonesia in the adjective rating category is GOOD with a grade scale of C, which means usability based on the data obtained has received an acceptable level of acceptance. So this application can be said to be suitable for use.

Abstract

In the process of teaching and learning, there is always a specific goal to be achieved, aiming to fulfill and produce a set of achievements targeted by a subject teacher. Each subject has different learning outcomes. Supervision of learning outcomes is necessary to ensure that both students and teachers can achieve the agreed-upon or school-established learning outcomes. Throughout this process, schools face difficulties in carrying out supervision to ensure that learning outcomes are met. This challenge underscores the need for an application that can assist in the supervision of learning outcomes, aiding schools in ensuring that both teachers and students can successfully achieve the set learning outcomes. The application development process utilizes the waterfall method, with data collection using documentation techniques. The programming languages used are Dart and PHP. The developed application includes the ability to monitor quiz scores, assignment grades, student attendance levels, as well as creating an interactive and engaging discussion forum. After implementation and testing, the application proves to be highly effective in fulfilling its function of supervising learning outcomes. In summary, during the teaching and learning process, the primary objective is to achieve the set learning outcomes. The challenges faced by schools in supervising these outcomes emphasize the necessity for an application that can facilitate this process, ensuring the successful attainment of learning goals by both teachers and students. The development process, using the waterfall method, along with Dart and PHP programming languages, results in an application with features such as quiz and assignment monitoring, attendance tracking, and an interactive discussion forum. The successful implementation and testing demonstrate the application's effectiveness in supervising learning outcomes, providing a practical and efficient solution for schools to monitor and enhance the quality of education.

Abstract

High blood pressure is a significant public health problem with a high prevalence in the Indo-nesian population. 2018 Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas) data shows a prevalence of hyperten-sion of 34.1% in individuals aged 18 years and over, with the highest figure in South Kalimantan and the lowest in Papua. Complications arising from hypertension can have serious impacts on organs such as the brain, eyes, heart and kidneys. The Naive Bayes algorithm is generally used in disease prediction, but the Naive Bayes algorithm has problems when selecting attributes, because Naive Bayes itself is a statistical classification method that is only based on Bayes' Theorem so it can only be used with the aim of predicting the probability of membership in a group or class. So attribute weighting is needed to increase accuracy more effectively. This research introduces Gain Ratio as an attribute weighting method to increase the accuracy of Naive Bayes. The aim of this study was to compare conventional Naive Bayes with Naive Bayes Gain Ratio in predicting complications of high blood pressure. The research results show that feature selection with gain ratio weighting can increase the accuracy of naive Bayes classification, with an average increase in accuracy of 20% compared to naive Bayes without feature selection. The precision value increased by 21% in the naive Bayes gain ratio algorithm for the kidney failure class, an increase of 3% in the heart class, and an increase of 31% in the stroke class, for the recall value the naive Bayes gain ratio increased by 35% in the heart class while in the kidney failure and stroke classes did not increase the recall value.

Abstract

Health Promotion is a series of activities that strive for individuals to increase their knowledge related to health so that ultimately they can improve the quality of health. In order for the objectives of health promotion activities to be achieved, media is needed to support these activities. TeFa House of Health Promotion Polije is one of the TeFa (Teaching Factories) managed by the Health Promotion study program, Department of Health. TeFa was created as a forum for communication, information and health education, TeFa is also a means for lecturers to contribute to society by providing consultation services related to the development of public health promotion programs. To support this, a multifunctional platform is needed in the form of a webportal which is used to help TeFa. This research focuses on creating a web portal using one of the SDLC methods, namely prototype. The process of creating a web portal begins with extracting information through interviews with potential users. The results of this excavation process are information related to the features of the web portal, including articles, video, audio, pooling and chat. The process of creating a Web Portal is made using the PHP programming language and Laravel Framework. The testing process is carried out using the black box method to determine the functionality of each feature. The test results showed that the web portal was in accordance with the user's required features and each feature was functioning according to its function.

Abstract

Elderly people are a group that is vulnerable to experiencing various problems in terms of nutrition and health caused by changes in eating patterns. Nutritional status affects the independence of an elderly person, where good nutritional status means less dependence on other people and vice versa. It is necessary to treat malnutrition or malnutrition as early as possible, one of which is by having an elderly posyandu. Posyandu for the elderly as a community service provides services and assistance in special health for the elderly, by regularly recording, controlling and reviewing the medical records of the elderly in a document. The data processing method in this research uses the Naïve Bayes method, where the data used comes from the medical records of the elderly and then used as a reference as to whether the elderly have good nutrition or are malnourished and require further action. Medical record documents play an important role in posyandu services for the elderly, so that medical record documents should be digitally based and systematic in recommending the nutritional status of the elderly. The Naïve Bayes algorithm is an algorithm that can help in classifying data in diagnosis using criteria for the condition of elderly patients. Naïve Bayes also has precise accuracy when implemented in applications that have databases with large data and makes it easier for users to interpret the results. This is proven by this research which produces an accuracy value of 91% with the data used as a sample of 110 elderly patients. The system design aims to help users as posyandu cadres in knowing whether the condition of the elderly is good, whether the elderly are at risk of malnutrition and provide treatment that is appropriate to the condition of elderly patients as well as assisting the Posbindu PTM in transforming documents into computerized ones.
