Abstract

Implementation of Field Work Practices (PKL) is an effort that can be made by SMK to continue to produce graduates who can compete in the business world and the industrial world (DU / DI). The government policy regarding learning at / from home during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has an impact on the reporting process at SMKN 2 Kraksaan. This study aims to build a report guidance system using server side-based web technology. This system was built using a waterfall model and PHP (PHP Hypertext Prepocessor) programming. System design tools used are Flowmap Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, and Entity Relationship Diagrams. The black box test results show that the output of the system is in line with expectations. User response to the system using a questionnaire resulted in a feasibility percentage of 83.6% with a very feasible category interpretation. It can be concluded from the test results that the Field Work Practices report guidance system is in accordance with user needs and is very suitable for use.

Abstract

Automatic control has been developed in various fields, one of which is paint quality control. Paint quality can be controlled from various categories, including paint quality based on its viscosity. Therefore, we need a system that can control the viscosity of the paint. The paint viscosity control system uses the PLC OMRON CP1E-NA20DRA with a heater as a heat source, and the LM35DZ sensor as a temperature reading sensor, and the RPM reading is used to calculate the viscosity value. The programming language used is the ladder diagram on the CX-Programmer. This system uses the PID (Proportional, Integral, and Derivative) Algorithm so that temperature control can be set at 30ºC so as not to affect the viscosity of the paint. In addition, this prototype provides two PID tuning options, namely manual and auto-tuning. Researchers get the results that a good temperature control system response has a PB value = 0.2%; Ti = 452.5s and TD = 66.6s. and control the accuracy level of paint viscosity control of 67.82%.

Abstract

Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) is an alternative source of electrical energy for the community. PLTMH provides many benefits, especially for rural communities throughout Indonesia. When other energy sources start to run low and have a negative impact, water becomes a very important source of energy because it can be used as an energy source. PLTMH is a small-scale power plant that uses hydropower as its driving force such as irrigation channels, rivers, or natural waterfalls by utilizing the waterfall height (head) and the amount of water discharge. In rivers, there is the potential for sufficient water availability throughout the year, reliable discharge, suitable contours, and has been used for MHP. However, this river has decreased the electrical power it produces. Therefore, in this PLTMH river, it is necessary to analyze and recalculate the electric power generated by optimizing the water drop point, using an 8-inch pipe to produce a tangential force of 814.28 N, then using a 3-inch pipe to produce a tangential force of 100, 62 N and using a 2-inch pipe produces a tangential force of 25.37 N.

Abstract

The calculator is a calculation tool that is widely used in various specialized fields of business and commerce. The use of a calculator makes it easier for humans to perform calculation operations, but there are obstacles in the process of inputting numbers if you want to calculate the value of numbers on written media such as paper, whiteboards and so on. The user must first see the text on written media, then read it and remember it then type the writing on a calculator tool or application. The drawback of this method is that when the user forgets the writing on the written media, the user will see the written text and remember it again so that it takes longer to perform calculations using a calculator. The method used in this study is Optical Character Recognition, this method can recognize text contained in images or handwritten images of mathematical number operations. The results of the introduction of the text will then be carried out by arithmetic calculations to get the calculation results. From the trials on 20 handwritten images of mathematical number operations, the results obtained were 85% accuracy of extraction and accuracy of handwritten images that can be calculated and correct by 85%.

Abstract

Eye sight is sometimes deceptive, especially in determining the quality of a canned food, so it is necessary to use technology that resembles human visual observation, namely in the form of an application. The process to detect the quality of canned food uses image processing methods, especially thresholding, which is then designed so that the application is able to determine the quality of canned food with the help of the MATLAB GUI which detects and then sends it from making the MATLAB GUI on the Laptop to Android using FTP (File Transfer Protocol). At the end of the process, it is marked with known good and bad quality of canned food with an android application that has been specially designed with an accuracy level of 84% with a thresholding value of 70.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini diterapkan pengendali Proporsional Integral Derivatif (PID) pada sistem DC-DC Boost Converter. Sistem tersebut merupakan suatu rangkaian elektronika daya yang bekerja untuk meningkatkan tegangan dengan meningkatkan nilai-nilai sehingga lebih layak dari tegangan tanpa harus menghilangkan daya yang relatif besar sehingga dapat mengatasi kekurangan tegangan. Pengendalian dilakukan dengan memberikan sinyal atau tegangan yang mengatur waktu ON dan tombol waktu OFF. Nilai tegangan berdasarkan nilai duty cycle yang merupakan satuan dari PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). koneksikan pada boost converter cenderung fluktuatif dan tidak stabil. Atas dasar itu tegangan keluaran harus dikendalikan oleh sebuah konverter tegangan yang dapat diatur sesuai keinginan agar cocok dengan nilai set point yang telah ditetapkan. Dengan mengatur nilai PWM dengan metode PID dapat mempermudah untuk mendapatkan nilai-nilai keluaran yang konstan pada boost converter. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan setelah menggunakan sebuah kendali PID untuk menghasilkan tegangan keluaran yang sangat stabil dan konstan tanpa adanya tegangan riak. Untuk parameter tuning nilai yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan tegangan keluaran yang stabil yaitu nilai proporsional adalah 5, nilai integral adalah 5, dan nilai derivatif adalah 3.Pada penelitian ini diterapkan pengendali Proporsional Integral Derivatif (PID) pada sistem DC-DC Boost Converter. Sistem tersebut merupakan suatu rangkaian elektronika daya yang berfungsi untuk menstabilkan tegangan dengan menaikkan nilai tegangan keluaran sehingga bernilai lebih tinggi dari tegangan masukkan tanpa harus menghilangkan daya yang relatif besar sehingga dapat mengatasi kekurangan tegangan. Pengendalian dilakukan dengan memberikan sinyal atau tegangan yang mengatur waktu ON dan waktu OFF switch. Nilai tegangan berdasarkan nilai duty cycle yang merupakan satuan dari PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). Tegangan masukkan pada boost converter cenderung fluktuatif dan tidak stabil. Atas dasar itu  tegangan keluaran harus dikendalikan oleh sebuah konverter tegangan yang dapat diatur sesuai keinginan agar cocok dengan nilai set point yang telah ditetapkan. Dengan mengatur nilai PWM dengan metode PID dapat mempermudah untuk mendapatkan nilai tegangan keluaran yang konstan pada boost converter. Untuk nilai tuning parameter yang digunakan sehingga menghasilkan tegangan keluaran yang stabil yaitu nilai proporsional adalah 5, nilai integral adalah 5, dan nilai derivatif adalah 3.

Abstract

Interface techniques on computers and instruments cannot be separated from the software contained in computers to communicate. Communication that is commonly used is serial and parallel data. The method used in this development uses the Asynchronous serial data communication method which occurs if the clock on each communication device is not synchronized in reading data and displaying data. serial communication using Visual Basic Software as a medium to read and display serial data from Arduino. The level of accuracy when reading data and displaying data error rate / error 0% with 8 times of testing Data reading and displaying data.Teknik interface pada komputer dan instrumen tidak dapat dipisahkan dari  perangkat lunak yang terdapat pada komputer untuk berkomunikasi. Komunikasi yang umum digunakan adalah data serial dan paralel. Metode yang digunakan pada pengembangan ini menggunakan metode Komunikasi data serial Asynchronous yang terjadi jika clock yang terdapat pada masing-masing perangkat komunikasi tidak tersinkronisasi pada pembacaan data dan menampilkan data. komunikasi serial menggunakan Software Visual Basic sebagai media untuk membaca dan menampilkan data serial dari Arduino. Tingkat akurasi pada saat Pembacaan data dan menampilkan  data tingkat kesalahan/error 0% dengan 8 kali pengujian Pembacaan data dan menampilkan  data.

Abstract

This research make a wireless lamp light intensity regulator device based on LED matrix control. The device regulates lamp light intensity that is conform with the eating, sleeping, reading, using a laptop activities based on the existing provisions in SNI 03-6575-2001. The Arduino Uno ATMega328 microcontroller used to control the number of LED lamps that are light up to adjust the intensity of the light that fall upon the surface (lux) according to the activity that selected by user's smartphone. The BH1750 sensor will detect the light intensity produced by the lamp as information of the lamp light intensity condition. This research has been completed and succeeded in making a wireless lamp light intensity regulator device based on LED Matrix Control which can adjust the lamp light intensity of the lamp conform with the activities that the user want to do according to SNI 03-6575-2001. The device has been successfully created with an error percentage of 1.33% on examination with four different types of activities with total of 20 trials.Penelitian ini membuat alat pengatur intensitas cahaya lampu nirkabel berbasis kendali matriks LED. Alat mengatur intensitas cahaya lampu dengan menyesuaikan pada kegiatan makan, tidur, membaca, menggunakan laptop berdasarkan ketentuan yang ada pada SNI 03-6575-2001. Mikrokontroler ATMega328 Arduino Uno digunakan untuk mengendalikan jumlah lampu LED yang menyala guna mengatur intensitas cahaya yang akan jatuh ke permukaan (lux) menyesuaikan dengan kegiatan yang dipilih melalui smartphone pengguna. Sensor BH1750 akan mendeteksi intensitas cahaya yang dihasilkan oleh lampu sebagai informasi kondisi intensitas cahaya lampu. Penelitian ini sudah selesai dilakukan dan berhasil membuat Alat Pengatur Intensitas Cahaya Lampu Nirkabel berbasis Kendali Matriks LED yang dapat mengatur intensitas cahaya lampu berdasarkan kegiatan yang akan dilakukan pengguna menyesuaikan SNI 03-6575-2001. Alat telah berhasil dibuat dengan persentase error 1,33% pada pengujian terhadap empat jenis kegiatan yang berbeda dengan total 20 kali percobaan.

Abstract

The tool in this study can control, measure the water level and water temperature in the open evaporation pan automatically. Water level measurements were carried out using the HC-SR04 sensor and water temperature measurements using the DS18B20 sensor. The method used is the Internet of Things (IoT) in order to send data from a NodeMCU type microcontroller as sensor processing and display data on water height, water temperature and control systems stored in databases and websites. The Internet of Things (IoT) can help transmit data remotely to monitor observations of open evaporation pans. The results of the sensor data can be seen through a 20x4 LCD and a website that displays sensor data and the status of the control system on the water pump and solenoid valve. The HC-SR04 sensor can work when the reading is directly into the water without an object. The results obtained are less accurate because the accuracy value on the HC-SR04 sensor is 3mm, while the measuring instrument from BMKG with an accuracy of 0.05mm requires a tool. From the results of the data in this research tool has an average error of 4mm. On the DS18B20 sensor, the resulting value gets an average difference of 0.8 degrees. The water level control system at specified hours with specified conditions works well. Water level data, water temperature can be displayed on the LCD and can be sent via the website once every 1 hour for 24 hours.Alat pada penelitian ini dapat mengontrol, mengukur ketinggian air dan suhu air pada panci penguapan terbuka secara otomatis. Pengukuran ketinggian air dilakukan menggunakan sensor HC-SR04 dan pengukuran suhu air menggunakan sensor DS18B20. Metode yang digunakan adalah Internet of Things (IoT) agar dapat mengirim data dari mikrokontroler dengan tipe NodeMCU sebagai pemrosesan sensor dan menampilkan data tinggi air, suhu air dan sistem kontrol yang disimpan di database maupun website. Internet of Things (IoT) dapat membantu mengirim data dengan jarak jauh agar dapat memantau pengamatan panci penguapan terbuka. Hasil dari data sensor dapat dilihat melalui LCD 20x4 dan website yang menampilkan data sensor dan status sistem kontrol pada water pump dan solenoid valve. Sensor HC-SR04 dapat bekerja ketika pembacaan langsung ke air tanpa objek. Hasil yang didapatkan kurang akurat karena nilai keakuratan pada sensor HC-SR04 yaitu 3mm sedangkan pada alat ukur dari BMKG dengan keakuratan alat dengan kebutuhan 0,05mm. Dari hasil data pada penelitian alat ini mempunyai rata-rata hasil error 4mm. Pada sensor DS18B20 nilai yang dihasilkan mendapatkan nilai rata-rata selisih 0,8 derajat. Sistem kontrol ketinggian air pada jam yang ditentukan dengan syarat yang ditentukan bekerja dengan baik. Data tinggi air, suhu air dapat ditampilkan di LCD dan dapat dikirim melalui website setiap 1 jam sekali selama 24 jam.

Abstract

An increase in Instant Messenger (IM) application users makes it easier for people to get connected through social media. Application developers regularly offer updates. However, those updates don’t always satisfy users expectations, instead confuse them. Even users are sometimes hesitant to update the app thus they switch to another messaging platform. This research discusses the analysis and comparison of two IM applications that reached 100 million downloads on Play Store; Whatsapp and Telegram. The analysis process is carried out from the features use in the Instant Messenger application. The data collection procedure are conducted by viewing the traffic. The data acquisition technique is done by using literacy and observation study methods to get full access to smartphones. The results of the analysis are in the form of a comparing table between both IM applications and expected to be future reference for further reseach.Peningkatan pengguna aplikasi Instant Messenger (IM) memudahkan masyarakat untuk terhubung melalui media sosial. Pengembang aplikasi secara teratur menawarkan pembaruan. Namun, pembaruan tersebut tidak selalu memenuhi harapan pengguna, malah membingungkan mereka. Bahkan pengguna terkadang ragu untuk memperbarui aplikasi sehingga mereka beralih ke platform perpesanan lain. Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis dan perbandingan dua aplikasi IM yang mencapai 100 juta unduhan di Play Store; Whatsapp dan Telegram. Proses analisis dilakukan dari fitur-fitur yang digunakan pada aplikasi Instant Messenger. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melihat lalu lintas. Teknik akuisisi data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode studi literasi dan observasi untuk mendapatkan akses penuh ke smartphone. Hasil analisis berupa tabel perbandingan antara kedua aplikasi IM dan diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan untuk penelitian selanjutnya.
