Abstract

Tafsir al-Khazin emerged in the early of the affirmative era. This paper attempts to reveal; 1), The socio-historical background of this interpretation appears. 2) trying to describe-analyze a set of understandings of essential definitions such as al-Qur'an, interpretation, ta'wil, the use of hadith, fiqh, and Israiliyat, 3). Explaining the "critical synthesis" of this interpretation in the development of the world of interpretation. The methodology of this research is historical-analytical, trying to unravel the background, testing with several important definitions (examples) in the study of interpretation, and mediating critical positions in this interpretation. The result is that this interpretation appears to be inspired by al-Bagahwi's interpretation as a form of respect from the student-teacher. Therefore the scale of originality of interpretation is quite balanced. In the hadith problem, al-Khazin used the hadith, but for some reason, it was found that he cut a lot of hadith sanad and not infrequently presented the sanad of his teacher al-Baghawi and also as-Sa'labi. The simple understanding of the Qur'an, interpretation, and ta'wil also tends to be the same as other scholars. The tendency of Shafi'i fiqh is implicitly found even though al-Khazin does not clearly explain his tendency. Al-Khazin quotes many israiliyat stories without filtering them critically, and even those stories can be said to be far from the Shari'ah rules. However, all of this is intended to present a simple work of interpretation. So it can be said that the tafsir seems repetitive and partial

Abstract

Misogynistic hadiths that are read through gender reading are an effort to reveal models of understanding hadiths that are indicated by gender bias. This greatly affects the potential that exists in women. Therefore, opening up various modes of understanding in the community in gender studies is very important to obtain justice and provide a new color in the development of Islamic society through the eyes of the integration of science interconnections. The purpose of this paper is in addition to existing studies on the thought of Fatima Mernissi, how misogynistic hadiths are in the perspective of Fatima Mernissi. Accordingly, three questions can be formulated: (1) What is the thought of misogynistic hadiths according to Fatima Mernissi (2) Why are there misogynistic traditions. (3) How is the transformation of misogynistic traditions from feminist issues to scientific integration-interconnection towards the development of Islamic society. This study uses themethod library research (library study) using qualitative data collection techniques and descriptive-analytical approaches. The results of this study indicate that the gender relations contained in the misogynistic traditions are an attempt to reread these traditions with a gender perspective that sees more moral ideals in understanding the traditions of the Prophet. Misogynistic hadith with a gender perspective is able to provide empowerment to women, as well as social awareness as a socio-cultural issue.

Abstract

The miracle of al-qurān in terms of language, al-qurān is the source of knowledge in this modern era. And al-qurān written in Arabic which contains meaning and science, including nahwu, ṣorof, dalālah and Balāghoh. Insaid I'lmu dalālah discusses about Ṣifah wal Mauṣūf, because the sentence is imperfect meaning if there are no words that characterize it. One sentence will be discussed in word of "Qawlan" which is characterized by word of Ma’rūfan and Sadīdan. Seeing the meaning of two sentences that are the same good words, but each has a different purpose and that is by looking at the terms of meaning according to language and time of use is also intended for the intended. Finaly, the first  of resulted: that the phrase "Qawlan Ma'rūfan" has a meaning of a good expression, also this expression show up to orphans when giving wealth to those who have reached the age and also, can be used when talking to close friends, and to him poor people when giving some treasure. And the second is: the meaning of "Qawlan Sadīdan" has a meaning of a kind expression which is gentle and just shown to ṣufaha. and ṣufaha has two meanings, the first: Little boys and the second: girls. pronounced when giving a will or inheritance to the Sufaha.

Abstract

From classical to contemporary times the method of understanding of the hadith has always develoved by looking at the context of the method of understanding the hadith in view of an essential in understanding the intent and wearing teh hadith, for the hadith is a reference to islamic law. Furthermore, Sometimes there is an error in the middle of ummah, which is due to lack of understanding of the metodhology of understanding the hadith. Pofessor Edi Safri ia a contemporary scholar wo studies the hadith. The Studi aims to exsplore the methologi of understanding the hadith according to professor Edi Safri and his contemporary conversion. As for the risearch method in this matter, it uses the libabry risearch method with a descrivtipe qualitative approach. Furthermore, the findings in this study are, teh tipology of teh Edi Safri understanding of the hadith ia textual and contextual. the textual meaningis to understand the hadiths based on the text itself or to compare eith other text. Whereas contextual he intended was to tex the hadith bay subtantiating tehm with nothing further tahn zahir’s own meaning, he differed fro, a contemporary cleric of hadith who had come to understand them with a confirmation of scientific truth and historical fact.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the existence and urgency of asbab an-nuzul from the verses of the Qur'an in terms of interpreting and finding  the legal content. This research stands  by the pros and cons among scholars when addressing the existence of asbab an-nuzul al-Qur'an. The majority of scholar’s opinion said that  asbab an-nuzul which based on narration is very important  for  understanding  the content of the verse, but another scholar  come with the opposite opinion. There is an opinion says that asbab an-nuzul is not really important and seems it’s like a made up business. This research is critical analysis includes library research. While the method of  collecting  data analysis technique used is  inductive and comparative methods. The results of this study include: 1). The existence and urgency of asbab an-nuzul verses of the Qur'an are basicly important it can help to understand legal verses, but they are still casuistic not generalistic, there is a dictum al-Ibrah bi 'umum lafazh la bi khushushi sabab. 2). The Paradigm of the concept of asbab an-nuzul should be understood as a social setting (muqtadha al-hal) when the verses of the Qur'an were revealed to the Prophet SAW, with the term asbab an-nuzul macro, not only based on narration.

Abstract

Sahih al-Bukhari is a phenomenal book among the many books of hadith that have been written, and one form of attention of the scholars to it is to make a book of syarah. The existing syarah books were written by scholars from various schools of thought, one of which was written by Ibnu Battal who is affiliated to the Maliki school of thought. Using library research and content analysis, this article was written to find out the methodology for writing Ibnu Bathal's Syarah Sahih al-Bukhari above and to reveal its differences with other books of Syarah Sahih al-Bukhari. From this research, it can be seen that the peculiarities of Ibn Battal's work are; first, he did not discuss the narrators and sanad specifically, but directly mentioned the name of the companions who was the narrator of the hadith. Second, he explained the matan of the hadith without discussing ikhtilaf or the differences in the editorial differences of the matan first. Third, in understanding the difference in understanding of the matter in dispute, especially with regard to law, he prefers to take interpretations from the Maliki school of thought

Abstract

Modern life which is characterized by globalization makes the flow of human movement from one place to another easier, more effective, and efficient. The world is becoming smaller and it is easier to enter any area in the corner of the earth. Likewise, the choices that arise for humans to live, work, do business, study, travel and so on. Of all regions on this earth, not all of them are inhabited by Muslim-majority communities, but more non-Muslim-majority communities. So this study aims to see the status and understanding of the prophet's hadith about the prohibition of living in non-Muslim communities in the present context. This paper is the result of a literature study, which is the result of tracking several literatures related to the themes discussed. The method used in this paper is a qualitative research method that is descriptive and interpretive through a historical approach. The results of the study conclude that this hadith is ahad and is valid and can be used as evidence. The understanding of this hadith contains a prohibition for Muslims to live in non-Muslim countries due to war between Muslims and non-Muslim countries, great difficulties that cause a Muslim to be unable to fulfill his obligations, and affect a lifestyle that causes a Muslim to have no difference with other people. non-muslim. This prohibition does not apply if the non-Muslim country is safe, there is no difficulty in worshiping and fulfilling obligations as a Muslim, and can show the identity and lifestyle of a Muslim.

Abstract

This  article discuss about the implementation of Islamic law’s verses in al-Azhar exegesis to Indonesian context, being a largest moslem’s country in the world, Indonesia do not constitute the holy Quran as the primary sources of the country’s law, but rather to constitute UUD 1945 as  a primary sources of the law and Pancasila as the country’s constitution, the status of HAMKA as a stateman who have started his career away before  the establishment of the country and also as a well-known Islamic scholars, and the author of one of the famous Quranic exegesis in Indonesia Tafsir al-Azhar become the source of the scientific problem, how was the position of HAMKA as an islamic scholars to convey the islamic law firmly and explicitly, in the other hand, he must adjust his exegesis and implement it to Indonesian context which has their own product of law and constitution to demolish criminality, by using qualitative reasearch (Library Research) with the method of analisys-descriptive aproach focused to the al-Azhar exegesis found the efforts of HAMKA to integrate the islamic law with the country’s law and constitution, and is able to be implemented accordingly and simultenously, and also has a similarity, in addition there is also an opportuniy to constitute the islamic law to be the official law of the country by submitting the program to the government, based on the first pillar of Pancasila “ Believe in the One and Only God” which HAMKA stated as the fundamental power of Pancasila.
