Describing the mistakes of early-level students in solving algebra problems and their causes is the purpose of this study. The algebra problem given is a SPLDV problem with one solution, many solutions and no solution. Descriptive qualitative is a type of this research, with the subject of early-level students taking linear algebra courses. Test and interview techniques were used in collecting data in this study. Then the data analyzed using analytical techniques consisting of data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the errors of students in solving SPLDV questions with one solution were only in writing mathematical symbols for the final answer. Meanwhile, errors in solving SPLDV with many solutions, namely: (1) writing the final answer, (2) performing subtraction and division operations that involve algebra, (3) interpreting the calculation results into the answer. Meanwhile, errors in solving SPLDV with no solution, namely: (1) performing subtraction operations involving algebra, (2) interpreting the results of calculations into answers. The cause of the error is that students (1) do not understand what is meant by the SPLDV solution, (2) still fixated on previous knowledge, namely the solution to SPLDV is only one, (3) still fixated that the easiest way to solve SPLDV is by elimination, (4) not familiar with SPLDV with many solutions and no solutions.

This study aims to describe the mathematical problem solving ability of Polya stages in solving equation material and linear inequality of one variable. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The population in this study was grade VII students of SMP Kota Bekasi with a subject of 40 students. Data collection techniques are five test instruments for mathematical problem solving capabilities. Based on the results of the study obtained mathematical problem solving skills of students are different there are in the high, medium and low categories. Of the 40 students who were subjected to the study, 26 students with low mathematical problem solving skills with a percentage of 65%. Therefore, the mathematical problem solving ability of SMP grade VII in solving equation material and linear inequality of one variable is relatively low.

This study aims to describe the difficulties of students and the factors causing students to have difficulty in solving the problem of getting up the flat side space. This type of research is descriptive. The subject of this research is SMPN 1 Naringgul. The population of this study was all students of class IX at SMPN 1 Naringgul, the study sample was taken using a random sample technique of 5 people. Data collection techniques in this study were tests, interviews, and documentation. Data validity uses method triangulation, while data analysis techniques use reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study concluded that 1) students experience errors in receiving information, students have difficulty in stating what needs to be known and what is asked. Difficulties in receiving information were obtained (45%). 2) errors related to the concept of building flat side space, students' difficulties in using formulas and applying them, errors in finding the surface area of beams, errors in modeling problem solving, errors in calculating. Difficulties related to the concept were obtained (64%).

This article aims to analyze the difficulties of grade VII junior high school students in solving algebraic operation problems. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were students of class VII-A at a private junior high school in West Bandung Regency. The researcher used an instrument in the form of 7 items of comprehension ability, where each question represented an indicator of mathematical understanding. The data analysis technique used in this research is the test results of algebraic operations, data reduction and drawing conclusions. Based on the data analysis, it was found that some students had difficulties in solving algebraic operation problems, including students who did not understand what concept was being asked, students still did not understand calculating addition, subtraction and algebraic multiplication operations, students did not understand how to factor, students were less careful in writing operation signs or variables and students are still wrong in defining the variable 'x' they think that 'x' is a sign of the multiplication operation. So it can be concluded that the ability to solve algebraic operation problems in class VII-A is still low and still cannot reach the expected KKM value.

Mathematics is a science that is structured and consists of integrated concepts. So in solving problems in mathematics, good mathematical connection skills are needed. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the mathematical connection abilities of high school students in the Arithmetic Sequences and Series material. This type of research used is a qualitative descriptive study with the research subjects being students of class XI in a high school in Bekasi Regency with a total of 30 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and tests, while the data analysis technique consisted of 3 stages, namely data reduction, data display and then a conclusion was drawn from the research results. From the results of the study, it is known that the mathematical connection ability of students on the connection indicator between mathematics and everyday life is obtained by a percentage of 70% which is in the medium category, on the indicator of the connection between concepts in one mathematics material and the inter-topic connection in mathematics obtained a percentage of 73% and has entered the high category, then the last indicator, namely the connection between mathematical material, namely arithmetic sequences and arithmetic series with other sciences, gets the highest percentage of other indicators, namely 84% and is in the high category. Overall the average mathematical connection ability of the students was in the high category.

In this article, we want to discuss one of the higher-order thinking skills, namely students' mathematical critical thinking on trigonometric material, related to the achievement of class X MIPA high school students. Descriptively reviewing students 'answers to questions containing indicators of mathematical critical thinking ability with a total of 35 students, was taken based on the considerations made by the researcher through purposive sampling and the students' critical thinking levels were categorized into high, medium, and low. The data collection technique uses tests of mathematical critical thinking skills and research results based on analysis by obtaining the results of achieving critical thinking skills in students seen from high category students if they meet all indicators of mathematical critical thinking skills, students in the moderate category meet 2 indicators of mathematical critical thinking skills, and Students in the low critical thinking category meet 1 indicator of mathematical critical thinking skills.

This study aims to analyze the interest in learning mathematics online of students who are members of the StudyGram community and the positive impact it has. So that learning innovations can be developed using StudyGram to increase interest in learning mathematics online. The research method is descriptive research. The population in the study were 13 students of grade VII SMP who are members of the StudyGram community in Indonesia, the sample was taken by purposive sampling, with the following inclusion criteria: 1) Having a StudyGram account; 2) Class VII high school students in Indonesia. Exclusion criteria; 1) Not actively posting learning materials; 2) Not part of the StudyGram community in the WhatsApp group. The data collection technique used a scale questionnaire of students' mathematics learning interest which contained 10 statements with 7 indicators. The data analysis technique uses the formula for the percentage of students' answers and is described by the criteria for interpreting the percentage of answers. The results of the analysis show that students in the study program community have an interest in learning mathematics, this can be seen from the majority of students having an interest in learning mathematics. With this, online learning innovations can be developed using StudyGram.

This study aims to analyze the mistakes made by students in solving trigonometric questions based on Watson's criteria. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The subjects studied in this study were students of class XI MIPA 1 in one of the public high schools in Karawang Regency. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The instrument used in this study was a test instrument in the form of trigonometric questions. The data analysis techniques used were: data collection, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the location of the mistakes made by students is inappropriate procedures (IP), omitted data (od), omitted conclusions (oc), and skills hierarchy problems (SHP). The cause of students making incorrect procedural errors is not understanding the concept of solving problems and not understanding how to write down the process of solving steps, the cause of missing data errors is their inadequacy in presenting data that should be used, missing conclusions are inability to link data previously known / obtained to draw a conclusion, and the error of the skill hierarchy problem is the inaccuracy of students when calculating.
