ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was determine the application of contextual teaching learning approach to improve the mastery of concepts volume of the rotary object. The study design was nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection technique used pretest and posttest to determine the mastery of concepts of volume of the rotary object. Hypothesis testing using t-test to compare the the mastery of concepts volume of the rotary object in the experimental class and control class, then a further test by comparing the mean (compare means) and average absolute gain Based on the research result the data show that it can be concluded that the approach of contextual learning significantly distinction of concepts volume of the rotary object. Mathematics is a science that is structured and consists of integrated concepts. So in solving problems in mathematics, good mathematical connection skills are needed. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the mathematical connection abilities of high school students in the Arithmetic Sequences and Series material. This type of research used is a qualitative descriptive study with the research subjects being students of class XI in a high school in Bekasi Regency with a total of 30 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and tests, while the data analysis technique consisted of 3 stages, namely data reduction, data display and then a conclusion was drawn from the research results. From the results of the study, it is known that the mathematical connection ability of students on the connection indicator between mathematics and everyday life is obtained by a percentage of 70% which is in the medium category, on the indicator of the connection between concepts in one mathematics material and the inter-topic connection in mathematics obtained a percentage of 73% and has entered the high category, then the last indicator, namely the connection between mathematical material, namely arithmetic sequences and arithmetic series with other sciences, gets the highest percentage of other indicators, namely 84% and is in the high category. Overall the average mathematical connection ability of the students was in the high category.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan dalam memecahkan masalah matematis pada pembelajaran matematika di SMP berdasarkan langkah-langkah polya. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik untuk menganalisis hasil tes keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Subyek pada penelitian sebanyak 30 siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Cilacap dengan kemampuan kognitif rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah dua butir soal tes keterampilan pemecahan masalah yang telah divalidasi dan disesuaikan dengan beberapa indikator, dan panduan wawancara. Setiap soal mengacu pada indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis menurut Polya. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh Kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada setiap indikator masih rendah. Hasil perolehan tiap aspek keterampilan pemecahan masalah menunjukkan persentase kemampuan memahami masalah mencapai 25%, persentase pada tahap perencanaan strategi mencapai 15%, presentase pada tahap pemecahan masalah mencapai 23%, dan presentase pada tahap pemeriksaan ulang mencapai 20%, sedangkan persentase rata-rata mencapai 21% dan dalam kategori rendah. Kesimpulannya, kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa SMP dalam pembelajaran matematika berada pada kategori rendah.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah peningkatan daya matematik siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajarankooperatif tipe group investigation lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Daya matematik terdiri dari 5 aspek yaitu pemecahan masalah matematik, penalaran matematik, komunikasi matematik, koneksi matematik, dan representasi matematik. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Karawang tahun ajaran 2012-2013 pada materi segitiga dan segiempatPenelitian ini menggunakan desain kelompok kontrol pre-test dan pos-test yang melibatkan dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Karawang Barat. Sampel dari penelitian ini sebanyak dua kelas yaitu kelas VII-D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII-F sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis data peningkatan daya matematik siswa dianalisis dengan rumus gain ternormalisasi(N-Gain), yaitu membandingkan skor pre-test dan pos-test. Data dalam penelitian ini dukumpulkan melalui pemberian pretes dan postes kemampuan daya matematik siswa. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan daya matematik siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional.

Purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning motivation to student mathematics learning outcomes at SMPN 2 Tirtamulya. The method used is a quantitative method. The population in this study were all students of SMP Negeri 2 Tirtamulya for the academic year 2021/2022, with 18 students of class VIII being the research sample. Data learning motivation and mathematics learning outcomes were obtained using questionnaires and documentation. The independent variable in this study is learning motivation, while the dependent variable is the result of learning mathematics. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that learning motivation had a significant positive effect to student mathematics learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 2 Tirtamulya. The level of closeness of the relationship between learning motivation and student mathematics learning outcomes is in the very strong category. The magnitude of the influence of learning motivation on students' mathematics learning outcomes is 95.84%. Meanwhile, the influence of other factors on the mathematics learning outcomes of SMP Negeri 2 Tirtamulya students is 4.16%.

Mathematical problem solving skills are one of the important skills that students have in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study is to describe students' mathematical problem-solving ability to solve PISA problems on quantity content. This research uses qualitative methods. The subjects in the study were students of class IX A SMPN 2 Tirtamulya. The data collection technique in this study is to provide a test in the form of two PISA Math problems. The results of this study are the average score of mathematical problem-solving skills of students classified into the medium category, which is 10.33. Students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in high categories meet the entire stage of problem solving, namely understanding problems, devising a plan, carrying out the plan, and looking back. The mathematical problem-solving ability of students in medium category is fulfilling the stage of devising a plan and carrying out the plan. Students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in low categories meet one of four stages, namely devising a plan.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan jenis dan faktor kesalahan siswa ditinjau berdasarkan teori Newman menggunakan soal kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis pada topik bangun ruang sisi datar. Pendekatan yang digunakan penelitian ini kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yang dipilih dari SMP Negeri yang ada di Kabupaten Karawang pada kelas VIII, dengan jumlah 20 orang ditetapkan dengan hasil analisis tes soal esai kemampuan berpikir kritis dan dipilih 5 orang untuk diwawancarai. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes soal esai kemampuan berpikir kritis, wawancara, dan dokumetasi. Data hasil tes dan tanya jawab akan dianalisis berdasarkan teknik analisis data yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) pada tahap kesalahan membaca soal sebanyak 46%, (2) kesalahan memahami soal sebanyak 62%, (3) kesalahan transformasi soal sebanyak 57%, (4) kesalahan keterampilan proses sebanyak 67%, dan (5) kesalahan menulis jawaban akhir sebesar 77%. Faktor penyebab adalah siswa tidak teliti dalam membaca soal, tidak memahami materi, tidak menguasai materi dan lainnya.

Abstrak: Pembelajaran berbasis kewirausahaan bertujuan agar jiwa kewirausahaan dimiliki oleh setiap siswa yang lulus di satuan pendidikan dengan harapan jiwa kewirausahaan sebagai modal dasar dalam berwirausaha ketika mereka sudah lulus. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah agar guru dan calon guru mendapatkan pemahaman sekaligus mempraktekan mengenai pembuatan bahan ajar berbasis kewirausahaan. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 13-14 Oktober 2020 dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 36 orang dari guru dan calon guru matematika. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMK Rosma Karawang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukan bahwa pelatihan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis kewirausahaan ini ditanggapi positif oleh peserta pelatihan dengan kategori puas 52,6% dan sangat puas 47,4%. Peserta pelatihan memiliki wawasan baru mengenai pengembangan bahan ajar yang dapat diterapkan di kelas ketika pembelajaran dilaksanakan.Entrepreneurship-based learning aims to make an entrepreneurial spirit possessed by every student who graduates in the education unit with the hope that an entrepreneurial spirit is the basic capital in entrepreneurship when they graduate. The purpose of this activity is so that teachers and prospective teachers gain understanding as well as practice making entrepreneurship-based teaching materials. This service was carried out on October 13-14 2020 with a total of 36 participants from teachers and prospective mathematics teachers. This activity was carried out at SMK Rosma Karawang. The results of this activity showed that the entrepreneurship-based teaching materials development training received a positive response from the training participants with the category of 52.6% satisfied and 47.4% very satisfied. Training participants have new insights about the development of teaching materials that can be applied in class when learning is carried out.

In accordance with technological developments in the 21st century, the use of mathematical software can be used in the learning process. Teaching materials become one of the most important parts in the learning process in class. The teaching material developed in this study is a module. Decision modules are seen from expert assessors in their fields, then they are approved in a limited group and field trials conducted by researchers. This research develops an android assisted practicum module on selective capita. This research uses research and development methods. The design is the development using ADDIE. The stages of the ADDIE model design are: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) development, and (5) evaluation. The assessment instruments used consisted of expert material sheets, learning design experts, instructional media experts, limited trials and field tests as well as learning outcomes tests. Based on the results of this study produced a lab-assisted android module on a selective capita that meets the proper category to use.

This program is one of the community service programs carried out by groups of lecturers and student representatives of the mathematics education program at UNSIKA. This program is in the form of providing tutoring outside school hours to elementary school students in mathematics. Most students are of the view that mathematics is difficult. Based on these conditions, we will design a program to help the school in providing tutoring to students in dealing with students to facilitate learning multiplication and division. The form of the program is in the form of providing tutoring for elementary school students, to facilitate student learning in completing multiplication and division operations. For the implementation of this activity, the mathematics textbooks and modules that are designed for guidance and study must be prepared. The material to be applied is about mathematical materials that have been summarized relating to multiplication and division operations. The structure of teaching materials for each topic starts with concepts, examples of questions, exercises, discussions and key answers. The textbook is ready to be used for the program.
