Abstract

The growing smartphone industry makes consumers have more choices in determining which products they want to buy, so that the behavior and the reason in determining the choice will be very different from any individual or group. The aim of the research is to analyze the customer’s preference on Samsung smartphone by using the perspective of university. This research has 3 independent variables which are product knowledge, product usability, and price with dependent variable which is customer preferences. In this research, researcher used quantitative method and working through questionnaire distributed to 300 respondents consist of students, employees, and lecturers. Construct validity was checked through factor analysis and passed the convergent and discriminant validity. Reliability was checked through Cronbach’s alpha and passed (ranging from .688 to .842) , and then Structural Equation Modelling was applied as the method of hypothesis testing. Based on the result of the research, it shows that the most influence factor is product usability, and the second is price. For the product knowledge factor did not have any significant influence toward customer preference of smartphone. It is recommended that Samsung focus more on price and the benefits for its consumers. For future research, it is expected to expand the research to other big cities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Organizational citizenship behavior in Military Institution in Indonesia was rarely being evaluated. Thus, the research is aimed to find an empirical evidence supporting the factors affecting organization citizenship behaviour by taking organization commitment as the independent variable and accountabiilty as the intervening variable . One hundred survey questionaires gathered and analized with smartPLS. Organization commitment is proven to have a direct influence toward organization citizenship behaviour, while accountability mediates the direct influence between organization commitment andorganization citizenship behavior. This research enrices literature contribution toward organization citizenship behaviour variable in military aspect.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine factors which influenced impulse buying behavior at one of local clothing retail store in Cikarang. Based on the previous studies, Promotion Approach and Store Layout were hypothesized as the independent variables which influenced Impulse Buying Behavior as the sole dependent variable. The researcher employed SPSS and binomial logistic regression to analyze the data collected from questionnaires spread to 200 customers of the local clothing retail store. The result of this research suggested that Promotion Approach and Store Layout significantly influenced Impulse Buying Behavior. The biggest influencer to Impulse Buying Behavior was Promotion Approach.

Abstract

The application of industrial symbiosis approach requires collaboration and synergy among the perpetrators. At IKM automotive components collaboration and synergy has occurred in order to meet the production process as the supply chain. Therefore the aim of this study was to analyze and implement synergies between SME development efforts in the automotive components KIJ and its surroundings; to analyze the management of waste, energy consumption, water consumption and by-products among SMEs in the automotive component and surrounding KIJ; and analyze the formation of industrial symbiosis in SME automotive components KIJ and surrounding areas. The sampling method is done deliberately by 30 IKM automotive parts and used questionnaires to obtain data. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis to obtain the effect of the independent variable (energy consumption, water consumption, waste and byproducts) to the dependent variable (sustainability). Data analysis showed that cooperation between SMEs of automotive components has occurred but is still limited to business cooperation has not been on the cooperation of environmental management. Variable waste management and water consumption significantly affect sustainability, because both activities shown by these two variables have been implemented by the SME automotive components. Variable energy consumption and by-products did not significantly affect the sustainability, because the energy consumption activities and byproducts in the automotive component SMEs have not been implemented. Industrial symbiosis approach as an approach to environmental management can be carried out among SMEs of automotive components, but still a lot of support is needed.

Abstract

The village is a village resident innovative society able to recognize and address as well as the use of advanced technology or new ways to tackle the problem and improve the economy by way of using existing technology around his environment independently. This study aims to develop a model village as a village innovative. The research object in Palembang and the research methods used by kualititif descriptive approach. The results showed an innovative rural development model is needed to approach the competitive advantage of each in every village in Palembang. Poverty is difficult to remove, but with the advantages of each mengedapankan each household expected by society to be independent. Innovative village in Palembang developed in villages with the highest poverty levels the District Seberang Ulu I model with the involvement of all relevant elements between the government, employers and society.

Abstract

Effectiveness of the work of employees is not less important than the role of a leader or also urgently needed in an organization in order to achieve the result of work effectively and efficiently. This study aims to find, test and analyze the effect of leadership and discipline to the effectiveness of employees of PT. Erza Nusa Indonesia Gresik. This research is explanatory research using a quantitative approach. Population and also sample in this study were all employees of PT. Erza Nusa Indonesia Gresik were 67 people. This study uses the leadership and discipline as an independent variable, while the effectiveness of the work as the dependent variable. Analysis of the data in this study using SPSS version 21. The samples used were all employees of PT. Erza Nusa Indonesia Gresik de Ngan number of 67 respondents using total sampling method. On testing partially (t test) got those two variables have a significant influence on the effectiveness of the work. Where the significance probability value leadership variable (X1) of less than 0.05 is for 0000 with a beta value (β) of 0701, as well as work discipline variables (X2) is less than 0.05 is equal to 0.031 with a beta value (β) of 0302. To test result analysis based on F test conducted showed that leadership and discipline simultaneously or together have a positive significant impact on the effectiveness of employees of PT. Erza Nusa Indonesia Gresik.
