Abstract

The implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility / CSR carried out by a company is an urgent action towards the development of a company in Indonesia, this proves that a company is said to be good, if in carrying out its activities not only seek profit but also have an obligation to carry out its social responsibilities. In implementing CSR, there is a lot that can be done by companies in improving the welfare of the community, for example making public facilities, giving scholarships to students who have long-term goals. In reality there are still many companies that do not realize the importance of CSR, so there are still companies that have not implemented it. CSR is very beneficial for the company if implemented because a company will develop rapidly and sustainably if it always maintains relations with the community. Abstract

This study intends to provide an overview of the consistency of research results with theoretical and empirical points of view, it is done because many research results are inconsistent with the theory. Quantitative research methods are used to make generalizations using a sample of 14 Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia with time series data collection techniques for 5 years. The data analysis technique used is multivariate analysis using the Warp PLS structural equation model. The results showed that the level of profitability of Islamic banks is always overshadowed by the occurrence of credit risk that causes non-performing financing from financing of the type of natural uncertainty contracts because it is type of financing is a financing that does not provide certainty of results. The results of this study are consistent with agency theory that explains the existence of information asymmetry, and consistent with the theory of mixing that by providing opportunities to manage business to business managers (mudharib/mustyarik) without interference from the owner of the fund (shaibul maal) can lead to the risk of default and thus affect the ability of Islamic banks to obtain profitability.

Abstract

Tourism has been one of important Cambodia’s key economic growth drivers (OECD, 2018). After Khmer Rouge, most Cambodian women have become head of their families and indispensable part of the development in all sectors in Cambodia, including tourism. This study aims to explore how tourism influences on managing women empowerment and the participation of women in sustainable tourism development in Kampong Phluk community-based tourism site, Siem Reap, Cambodia. The qualitative descriptive approach with in-depth interviews, has been used for collecting data. The eighteen interviewees had at least 2 years’ experience in managing and participating in community-based tourism, especially female members. The constant comparison analysis is used to analyze data collected from the interviewees. The result revealed that tourism truly brings many socio-economic benefits to the local community, especially female members of the community by empowering them economically, socially, psychologically, and politically. This study also found that women are the key contributors to the development of sustainable tourism in their community by participating in all activities regarding economic sustainability, socio-cultural sustainability, and environmental sustainability, by managing the benefits from tourism and distributing them fairly to all people in the community but minimizing the negative impacts on the community’s natural resources plus preservation of the local culture.

Abstract

In this study involving consumers PT Samator Gas Industri Samarinda Seberang. In this study, a sample of 120 respondents was used to see customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The data analysis used by the author is the Structural Equation Model (SEM). Hypothesis testing is done by multivariate analysis carried out through the SmartPLS program. Data analysis through partial Least Square (PLS) is done through two stages, namely: First, Assessing the outer model or measurement model. Second, assess the inner model or structural model. The results showed that Customer value had a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction, Customer trust had a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction, Customer value had a significant positive effect on loyalty, Customer trust had a significant positive effect on loyalty, Satisfaction had a non-significant positive effect on loyalty on PT Samator Gas Samarinda Industry Opposite.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of extrinsic rewards and person job fit on the performance of mining company employees. The population that is used in research this is of entire departments that exist in the Company mines with the number of samples as much as 10 0 people. Research carried out by using the approach quantitative. Data of the respondents is processed using a technique analysis of regression linear multiple. Based on data collected using the study of literature, interviews, and questionnaires show that reward extrinsic not affect significantly on the performance of employees at the company's mine for the reward Intrinsic may need to consider their reward instrinsik the form of non- financial. While person job fit has a significant effect because the company has implemented the system, one of which is to improve performance and reduce employee turnover intention.

Abstract

Banks are financial institutions that collect and distribute funds in the forms of deposits such as savings, deposits, current accounts, etc. from and for people who need funds for various needs, such as for consumption, working capital or business capital, housing and investment. In addition, banks must help the community to improve their living standards by distributing funds or giving credit to people who need funds. This is in accordance with the function of the bank itself, namely the bank as the distributor of funds. The purpose of this research is to examine and obtain evidence about factors that influence loan distribution at a bank. Internal factors that influence loan distribution are Third Party Funds, Non-Performing Loans, and Profitability. Efforts to increase credit at banks require optimal efforts to raise third-party funds, good credit management, and capital strengthening. This type of research is quantitative research with purposive sampling technique. The population used in this study is commercial banks from 2013 to 2017. The data come from commercial bank financial statements. As the benefit of this research the government can use it as a mapping material for distributing loan to commercial banks; the bank management can take it into consideration in making commercial bank lending policies. The results of the research show that profitability can mediate the relationship between third party funds and non-performing loans on loan distribution. Third party funds have a significant positive effect on loan distribution. Non-Performing Loans have a significant negative effect on loan distribution.
