Abstract

The adjustment/ bypassing policy is devoted to simplification of the bureaucracy which has already experienced enlargement and also burdens the government with regard to the salary payment budget. This simplification of the bureaucracy was also carried out within the Sekretariat Daerah Regency Pesisir Barat so that a rationality analysis of this policy was carried out. This descriptive research uses a qualitative approach because the study of the rationality of employee inpassing/adjustment policies within the Sekretariat Daerah Regency Pesisir Barat requires data that are not statistical or are not taken into account in the number system. The results of this study are that the policy of inpassing/adjusting positions to functional positions is very rational in the Sekretariat Daerah Regency Pesisir Barat, this is based on the results of an analysis of the rationality aspect according to Dunn (2003). Aspects of rationality achieved in this study are aspects of economic, legal, social, and substantive rationality.

Abstract

This article aims to provide an overview of the protocol function in providing regional leadership services. Setting the tone, following manners, and acting respectfully—as a sign of respect for one's position or position in the state, government, or society—are examples of actions related to maintaining order during state-sponsored events. The focus of this research also looks at the roles and tasks of the protocol in supporting the activities of regional leaders in Batang Regency. The protocol has the responsibility of ensuring that the leader's activities/events are facilitated by providing services directly related to the leader's activities. In practice, the protocol is a multifunctional task because it carries out tasks as a planner, including program plans to regulatory arrangements. This includes their duties and roles as guides, lobbyists, general assistants, managers and waiters serving dignitaries or guests. This study applies the concept of "Swot Analysis", a qualitative descriptive research with primary data sources obtained from informant interviews, observation and documentation from secondary sources. From the conclusion of this article, the lack of communication is the dominant factor that has the potential to change and even thwart events that have been planned in advance. The researcher argues that there is a need for written standard arrangements that need to be agreed upon by all interested parties (stakeholders) that are detailed but flexible in implementation in the field

Abstract

Eucalyptus oil is highly sought after because of its antiseptic, antibacterial, and antifungal characteristics. It is marketed as a high-quality supplement because it is taken from eucalyptus trees. Even though there are plenty of resources to help farmers improve their lot in life, many are still struggling to make ends meet. This research aims to understand better how eucalyptus oil growers use their social networks and dietary habits to get by daily. This study adopts a phenomenological approach, which is a qualitative research methodology. Relevant notes, interviews, and literature reviews were used to compile the data. According to the study, the pandemic has restricted employment opportunities, prompting eucalyptus oil farmers to become “innovators” by selling oil directly to customers without going via a mutually agreed upon procedure. When people invest time and energy into developing meaningful relationships with one another, it usually pays off in the form of long-lasting and stable social institutions. Eating habits have become influenced by subjective attitudes and conventions and the adaptation patterns carried out by eucalyptus oil producers in coping with conditions during a pandemic.
