Abstract

Teamwork is an essential social skill that should be practiced through direct interaction from an early age. However, many educational games remain individually oriented and provide limited opportunities for children to communicate, coordinate, and cooperate toward shared goals. This study developed Zona Penjaga, an online multiplayer educational game that adapts the traditional Bentengan game to facilitate teamwork-oriented learning among elementary school students. The game was developed using the ADDIE model and implemented with Unity, Photon Unity Networking for real-time multiplayer interaction, and Firebase for gameplay data storage. The evaluation involved 15 fourth-grade male students aged 9–10 years from one school in a one-day implementation without a control group. Data were collected through pretest-posttest questionnaires, gameplay observation, black box testing, and the System Usability Scale. All tested feature groups functioned as expected, indicating technical feasibility. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test showed a significant increase in posttest teamwork scores (Z = −3.078, p = 0.002); however, the low N-Gain value (0.21) indicates limited improvement. Observed cooperative behavior during gameplay was high, with a mean score of 3.61 out of 4.00, but this finding reflects short-term teamwork tendencies and in-session behavior rather than long-term skill development. Usability was moderate (SUS = 63.33), and 66.7% of participants scored below 68, indicating the need for substantial interface and onboarding refinement before broader classroom use. Overall, Zona Penjaga is technically promising, but its effectiveness and usability require validation through larger, more diverse, controlled, and longitudinal studies.

Abstract

Employee cooperatives often allocate limited lending funds among applicants with heterogeneous administrative and financial characteristics, creating a need for transparent and reproducible prioritization. This study developed a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) to prioritize loan applications at the Hotel Kristal Jakarta Employee Cooperative. Fourteen applicants were evaluated using five criteria: application date, queue order, outstanding liabilities, years of service, and base salary, with normalized weights of 0.20, 0.15, 0.25, 0.15, and 0.25, respectively. The first three criteria were modeled as cost attributes and the latter two as benefit attributes. The system transformed raw observations into utility values, aggregated weighted scores, ranked applicants, and assigned Priority status to the top three alternatives. The results identified A2, A1, and A10 as the highest-ranked applicants, with SMART scores of 0.7147, 0.6820, and 0.6423, respectively. Computational validation yielded a mean absolute error of 1.995 × 10⁻⁵ between system-generated and independently recalculated scores. Sensitivity analysis across 20 one-at-a-time weight-perturbation scenarios from −20% to +20% produced Spearman correlations of 0.9648–1.0000 and preserved the same top-three group. These findings indicate that the proposed DSS provides consistent and interpretable loan prioritization under the tested weighting conditions while retaining managerial authority over final approval. However, the evidence is limited to one cooperative and 14 applications, so the demonstrated robustness should not be generalized beyond this decision setting without further external empirical validation.

Abstract

Supplier selection is a critical procurement decision in small retail because supplier performance directly affects stock availability, delivery reliability, cost efficiency, and service continuity. This study develops and evaluates a web-based decision support system integrating the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) for supplier selection in a single small-retail case in Depok, Indonesia. AHP was used to derive weights for five criteria price, distance, product quality, service, and delivery performance while SAW normalized and aggregated the performance of ten supplier alternatives into final preference scores. The system was implemented using PHP and MySQL and assessed through independent computational cross-checking, black-box testing, white-box basis-path testing, and user acceptance testing. Delivery performance received the highest weight (0.5004), followed by distance (0.2527), price (0.1084), service (0.0796), and product quality (0.0589), with the consistency ratio remaining below 0.10. CV. Prima Sentosa ranked first with a preference value of 0.9118, narrowly ahead of PT. Rukun Mitra Sejati Cab. Depok at 0.9022. All 31 black-box test cases passed, the selected white-box modules achieved complete basis-path coverage, and system calculations matched independent calculations to four decimal places, demonstrating computational fidelity. User acceptance testing produced a mean rating of 97.00%, although lower scores for usability and interface-related aspects indicate that further refinement is needed. The study contributes an end-to-end, traceable AHP–SAW implementation that links preference elicitation, ranking, software verification, and formative user evaluation. The findings support the feasibility of the approach for the studied retail context, while broader generalizability and ranking robustness require further validation.
