Abstract

Perilaku disruptif biasa muncul pada anak-anak. Namun demikian, hal itu bisa berdampak pada masa depan bila tidak segera diatasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara stres pengasuhan ibu dan perilaku disruptif anak-anak prasekolah. Subyek penelitian ini 70 ibu dari anak-anak prasekolah. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Eyberg Child Behavior Inventory (ECBI) dengan skor alpha Cronbach sebesar 0,906 dan Skala Stres Parental (PSS) dengan alpha Cronbach skor 0,851. Formula analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi Spearman Rho. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai r = 0,258 (p = 0,031, p <0,05). Hasil lain yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya perbedaan stres pengasuhan ibu berdasarkan usia anak-anak. Hasil penelitian ini akan dibahas kemudian.Disruptive behavior is commong among young children. Nevertheless, it could be challenging and has implication for the future if it did not resolved. This research was intended to examine the correlation between maternal parenting stress and disruptive behavior in preschool children. The subjects of this research were consisted of 70 mothers of preschoolers. The instruments were consisted of Eyberg Child Behavior Inventory (ECBI) with alpha Cronbach score 0.906 and Parental Stress Scale (PSS) with alpha Cronbach score 0.851. The data analysis used Spearman Rho correlation test, and the result was r = 0.258 (p = 0.031, p < 0.05). the result of this research also shown the differences of maternal parenting stress based on children’s age. The result of this research will be discussed later.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-compassion dan kecerdasan emosi pada remaja tuna daksa. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebagai pengambilan sample subjek, remaja tunadaksa, baik yang memiliki disabilitas dari faktor bawaan maupun karena sebab lainnya (sakit, bencana, kecelakaan)baik laki-laki maupun perempuan dengan kriteria rentang usia 14-20 tahun, melibatkan 40 responden sebagai subjek. Skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala kecerdasan emosi yaitu Mayer Salovey Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test dan skala self compassion. Skala ini diadministrasikan kepada responden untuk mengungkap variable self compassion dan kecerdasan emosi. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa adanya korelasi yang signifikan antara self compassion dan kecerdasan emosi.Kata kunci : kecerdasan emosi, remaja tunadaksa, self compassion

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan hubungan antara dukungan sosial, dan acceptance of disability pada Tuna daksa. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah penyandang cacat sebanyak 48 orang. Hipotesis penelitian ini memiliki hubungan positif antara dukungan sosial dan acceptance of disability pada tuna daksa. Untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian, peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data menggunakan Acceptance of Disability Scale (ADS) yang diterjemahkan dan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support yang telah diterjemahkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara Dukungan Sosial dan Penerimaan pada Orang Cacat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik korelasi dari product moment. Analisis korelasi menunjukkan nilai koefisien r = 0,396 dengan signifikansi p = 0,003 (p <0,01) sehingga hipotesis diterima. Abstract. This study aimed to determined the relationship between Social Support and Acceptance of Disability at Handicapped. The population of this study were handicapped with 48 people. The hypothesis of this study had a positive relationship between Social Support and Acceptance of Disability at Handicapped. To test the hypothesis of the study, researchers conducted a data collection using translated Acceptance of Disability Scale (ADS) and translated Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. The results showed that there is a relationship between Social Support and Acceptance of Disability at Handicapped. Data analysis technique that used in this study is correlation technique from product moment. Correlation analysis showed the value of the coefficient r = 0.396 with significance p = 0,003 (p < 0,01) so that the hypothesis accepted.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kesepian merupakan permasalahan psikologis yang berdampak negatif bagi perkembangan lansia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei yang bertujuan untuk menelaah peran dari kebersyukuran terhadap kesepian pada lansia yang telah menjanda dan menduda. Penelitian ini melibatkan 82 orang lansia yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan rentang usia 60-90 tahun. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Gratitude Questionnaire-Six Item Form (GQ-6) dan UCLA Loneliness Scale (Version 3). Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman’s Rho menunjukkan adanya korelasi negatif yang signifikan antara kebersyukuran dan kesepian. Semakin tinggi tingkat kebersyukuran pada lansia maka semakin rendah kesepian yang dirasakan, begitu pula sebaliknya. Dengan demikian, hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima.Kata kunci: duda, janda, kebersyukuran, kesepian, lansiaAbstract. Loneliness is one of the psychological issues that impacted negatively on elderly development. Abstract

This research was aimed to explore the behavior changes, especially the forgiving behavior in children with conduct disorder. It was assumed that forgiving behavior played as predisposition in reducing destructive behavior. A training module was created and implemented to facilitate the occurrence of behavioral changes. Data was collected using Triangulation method and then analyzed with successive approximation (Neuman, 2000). There are significant changes in most of the respondents in understanding and re-experiencing the targeted behavior even though the mode of changes was vary for each subject. Forgiving behavior in children with conduct disorderwould emerge after expressing the same destructive behavior that other did to the respondent and with full support from peers.Keywords: Children with conduct disorder, forgiving behavior

Abstract

This quantitative study was aimed to determine the relationship between peer attachment and psychological well-being of university students. The subjects of this study were 69 university students from 20 to 29 years old. The measurements were Scale of Psychological Well-being (SPW; α = 0,805) based on six aspects of psychological well-being from Ryff & Keyes (1989) and Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA) subscale Peer Attachment (α = 0,903), scale was adapted based on three aspects from Armsden and Greenberg (1987). The results of this study showed a positive relationship between peer attachment and psychological well-being ofuniversity students, r = 0,382 and p = 0.001 (p<0.01). These findings suggest that psychological well-being was affected by peer attachment.  Key words: psychological well-being, peer attachment, university students

Abstract

The aim of the study is to understand the relationship between social support and quality of life in adolescent with special needs. The hypothesis in this study that there was a relationship between social support and quality of life in adolescent with special needs. The study sample involves 63 subject from special needs school Sleman and special needs school Bantul in Yogyakarta which consist 37 males and 26 females within age range 11 – 18 years old. The measuring tool of this study are adopted Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support from Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet & Farley (1988) and translastion from Youth Quality Of Life Instrument – Short Form (YQOL-SF) Version 2.0 from Edwards, Huebner, Connel and Patrick (2002). The data analisys of this study was using Product Moment Pearson. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to conduct a meta-analysis study on the attachment with children and adolescents’ psychological well-being. In this study, the researchers conducted a meta-analysis of eight groups. The results show that (1) the correlation effect between secure attachment and positive psychological well-being was significant; (2) the correlation effect of secure attachment with negative psychological well-being indicates a significant value; (3) the correlation effect between avoidance and positive psychological well-being was significant; (4) the correlation effect between avoidance and negative psychological well-being was significant; (5) the correlation effect between anxious and positive psychological well-being was not significant; (6) the correlation effect between anxious and negative psychological well-being was significant; (7) the correlation effect between disorganized with positive psychological well-being was significant; (8) the correlation effect between disorganized and negative psychological well-being was significant. Q values on all results indicate a high heterogeneity which indicates the presence of a moderator.

Abstract

In English as a Foreign Language (EFL) context, pre-service English teachers need to develop their sense of identity in both real communities in society and online platforms.This study aims to analyse pre-service English teachers’ views on their engagement in LinkedIn-mediated early professional development activities . The data were collected through in-depth interviews. Three pre-service English teachers who enrolled in Teacher Professional Development coursework and engaged in LinkedIn-mediated activities during the coursework were invited to participate. Two themes emerged from the findings. The first is LinkedIn-mediated early professional development activities that raise awareness on developing current professional digital footprint. The second is  LinkedIn-mediated early professional development activities help them to figure out expected teacher-selves in the future. Implications for future pedagogical practicein the Teacher Professional Development coursework is that the activities involved in LinkedIn should be sustained and enhanced in order to support the pre-service English teachers to shape their professional identity as future English teachers.

Abstract

TRAINING OF RESOURCE LITERACY AND LEARNING MATERIALS ON THE INTERNET FOR PAUD TEACHERS IN NGAGLIK DISTRICT, SLEMAN. Learning media and resources are parts of Early Childhood Education instructional design. Nowadays, learning media and resources include not only natural environment but also cyber space in internet. However, some Early Childhood Education teachers are not aware of the potential of using these learning media and resources in their teaching practice. Therefore, an in-house training of learning media and resources literacy was designed for Early Childhood Education teachers in District of Ngaglik, Sleman Regency. This training was attended by Rumah Anak Pintar Islami and Smart Child Al-Mubarok Pre-Schools. The outcome of the training was better understanding on learning media and resources in the internet which the teachers can use in their teaching practice.
