Abstract

Curriculum is change, which change is to answer the challenges of the times, according to the impact of cultural acculturation that is developing. The research in this study is a qualitative study with a document review. The results of this study, that each of the curriculum characteristics want to be changed, there are always weaknesses so that they want to be embroidered and want to be patched, so that the curriculum is more perfect, both from the teaching staff and the outputs produced by educational institutions. In fact, the nature of curriculum changes is in accordance with technological developments. When the curriculum changes, technology changes, but the teaching staff does not change, so the teacher experiences a dilemma. On one hand, teachers are required to teach according to curriculum changes, but on the other hand, students are more knowledgeable in technology than their teachers. The curriculum has changed, but the teaching style of the teacher has not changed, so what the teacher teaches does not match the characteristics of children in the current millineal generation. The curriculum is only capable of releasing a negative culture from the impact of technology, without as a whole.

Abstract

The fact that occurred in MAN Insan Cendekia Jambi based on observations, many students still had very difficult learning Arabic, this is indicated by the number of students who took the Daily Assessment (PH) which was held at the end of one Basic Competency (KD) or several KD from each semester still ranges between 33-38% of students whose grades reach or are above the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) set. While the remaining 62-67% have not yet reached the KKM. The phenomenon is basically influenced by many factors, including: 1) the learning process that is not going well and not smoothly caused by lack of appropriate and adequate learning resources; 2) teaching materials used are not relevant to students' abilities and conditions 3) teaching materials that do not meet the content and curriculum standards; in the end the teacher is "confused" in choosing the right book or teaching material according to the students' potential and learning needs; 4) Students get bored quickly due to the design of less innovative teaching materials whose presentation does not involve them directly to do the tadribat / drilling or practice exercises. Teaching materials based on tadribat Arabic language developed through Reasearch and Development (R&D) activities are assumed to increase the effectiveness of learning, motivate student interest in learning, and increase student competence.

Abstract

This research is a study of students’ workbook in 41 elementary School in Banyuwangi City. The study was limited in used topic in each chapter, from the 1st grade to the 6th grade of elementary school. The decree of ministry of education and culture number 79, 2014 used as parameter of this study. The result indicated that from 6 different levels of workbook that is used by the students from 41 elementary schools, none of them took local uniqueness as their topic in workbooks. It also found that from 41 English teachers in 41 schools, researcher chose 20 teachers as data sampling to be observed. Found that most teachers never develop the topic in the workbooks, they used workbooks as what they are. Multicultural in Banyuwangi do not make teachers aware to promote it to their students.

Abstract

Abstract

The family has the primary role and responsibility for the care and protection of children from infancy to adolescence. The introduction of children to culture, education, values ​​and norms of social life begins in the family environment. For the perfect and harmonious development of children's personalities, they must grow in a family environment in a climate of happiness, love and understanding The formulation of the problem of this study is how the correlation between the implementation of the norms of happy and prosperous small families with learning difficulties in class VIII semester II M.Ts N 1 Banyuwangi. The method used in determining respondents is using proportional random sampling. Data collection methods include: 1) Observation Method; 2) Interview Method; 3) Questionnaire Method; 4) Documentary Method. Analyze data using the tetrachoric correlation statistical method. The results of his research that there is a correlation between the norms of happy and prosperous small families with the learning difficulties of students of class VIII semester II M.Ts N 1 Banyuwangi, the level of relationship obtained by 0.542 lies between 0.400 to 0.600 which means the level of correlation is sufficient.
