Abstract

The lecture journal is a document that contains a description of the lecture material in each lesson. Lecture journals are used to monitor and review the learning process, especially in the Informatics Engineering study program. It is hoped that the existence of this lecture journal is able to increase the effectiveness of learning. In addition, it can lighten the burden for those who recapitulate student activities. Because the researcher wants to design a lecture journal in the form of a website so that it can be opened by all elements, both students, lecturers, deans, heads of departments, and admins. This research is motivated because the lecture journals at Darul Ulum University, especially in the Informatics Engineering study program, are still offline, which are still in the form of paper. With the problems that occur, researchers will design a website that can be used for the development of lecture journals. The website that will be used is designed using the waterfall method and uses a UML design model in the form of use case diagrams and activity diagrams. Using the PHP programming language and MySQL database in the form of a lecture journal that can be filled out online during lectures.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of information and communication technology which results in the need for internet access to increase among the community, especially in the field of education. The use of the internet in education is very supportive in the teaching and learning process, because with this media students and teachers can more easily access the internet. However, the obstacles that are often experienced are the difficulty of accessing material and knowing the latest information about education, the network devices used are still limited so they cannot reach all areas of the school, so a hotspot is needed by dividing users, bandwidth, and access rights to make it easier for teachers and students in accessing the internet network, as well as limiting student access rights so as not to use the internet incorrectly, in supporting the development of this network, additional network devices are needed, namely mikrotik and access points. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the right design is so that internet connections are more optimal for use, design a bandwidth management system, optimize internet users' logins according to what is specified.

Abstract

Currently to get a strong firewall is still constrained by expensive costs. Only large companies or agencies can obtain these devices, while small and medium-sized companies are still unable to obtain reliable firewall devices. Therefore, it is necessary to need inexpensive security devices or firewalls for medium and small companies and agencies to protect computer networks from outside interference. Mikrotik RB 750 is a router that can be used to make a network security system that is reliable, inexpensive and easy to configure. In this study, the author tries to provide a network security system solution using Packet Filter Firewall with the router in bridge mode and compares network security systems in other research journals. From the results of the comparison, several series of network security protections are produced, namely changing the proxy to bridge mode, IP address protection, content protection with mangle, Mikrotik device protection, traceroute protection, port scanner protection, Bogon IP protection, and Bruteforce FTP protection. After conducting a series of tests from the results of the network protection setup using the Mikrotik RB 750 in bridge mode, the authors conclude that not all packets that pass through the bridge firewall device can be filtered. One of them is ICMP flooding packets. Mikrotik devices with Firewall bridge mode cannot calculate the number of ICMP packets that pass, so the author blocks ICMP packets with the 8:0 option (echo request) that goes to the local network.

Abstract

Internet technology is an effective and efficient information medium in disseminating information. which can be accessed by anyone and anywhere. The use of internet media in this increasingly modern era is utilized as a means of information and communication globally with the aim of increasing business so that it can reach consumers in various regions. SMEs and other micro-entrepreneurs are now using the internet as a way to market the products they sell, which is rather easy to find and reach a wider range of consumers. have to come to the store to buy the item. This research is designed so that MSME business actors of shoe craftsmen can become an online shop that sells goods that have been produced in order to reach a wider market with a variety of shoe products that vary in order to attract buyers. The function of this online store is also so that consumers can obtain information about various kinds of shoes that will be sold easily and efficiently, in various kinds of shoes that are displayed in the form of product images as well as information related to products and product prices being marketed. For this reason, in order to increase sales, this idea is taken into consideration and there is a need for follow-up to build a website-based application in the form of an online shop to help MSME business actors in marketing various products.

Abstract

Scholarships are grants in the form of financial assistance given to individuals that aim to be used for the continuation of the education achieved. With this scholarship program, it is hoped that it can help students who have problems in financing. The selection of scholarship recipients at SMK YPM 14 Sumobito still experiences problems in decision making, because the assessment process is not always decided based on definite considerations but the policy of the decision makers who ultimately determine the scholarship recipients. This is because there is no method that can predict prospective scholarship recipients. Eligibility of prospective scholarship recipients is determined by applying the Naïve Bayes method. This method was chosen because it was able to study the previous case data used as test data. After testing with the Naïve Bayes algorithm using the Rapidmaner tool, the results were 90.48% accuracy, 96.88% precision, 83.33% recall each. So that it can be said as a good key to apply for prospective scholarship recipients. Keywords: (scholarship assistance, Data Mining, Naïve Bayes).

Abstract

Abstract Information technology is currently developing very rapidly. One example and evidence of the development of information technology is school counseling guidance. MAN 4 Jombang is an educational school institution that still applies the manual method for recording student violations, with the manual method the reporting time takes quite a long time. The purpose of this study is to build a web-based Counseling Guidance (BK) information system that includes student data processing, attendance processing, and counseling data processing that will facilitate teacher staff (BK) in recording student violations. The design that will be used in this system uses the Waterfall model, by applying the Waterfall model because the resulting information system will be good, because it is made in stages so that it does not focus on a stage. This counseling guidance information system has five accesses, including admin, homeroom teacher, principal, counselor, and parents. An appropriate plan is needed for the solution to this problem, by building or designing a counseling guidance information system needed by the school.

Abstract

Flood is a nature disaster which often happened in this world especially in Indonesia. This flood can be happened in flood vulnerable area, can cause disadvantage on the area. Flood can be happened cause high volume of water in river or lake, where the dam or irrigation can no longer accommodate the volume of water. The main causes of flooding are waterways that are blocked by al lot of garbage dumped carelessly by the community, illegal logging which can trigger flooding. Based on these problems, the researchers focus on the water level which during the rainy season. Therefore, the researchers made an IoT based flood detection system using two microcontrollers ultrasonic sensor and water level sensor as a measure of the water leve. The IoT-based ultrasonic sensor functions to send water level data which will be displayed by LCD, Blynk Notifications on android smartphones and also Buzzer alarms, and the Water level sensor serves to provide an alarm signal to the buzzer if water has touched the sensor. With the two flood detection tools, it will provide information faster, if the ultrasonic sensor has a signal problem, the water level sensor will give a warning in the form of an alarm on the buzzer when the water touches the sensor. The trial results of this prototype design have worked well to send alarms or signals with notifications on the Blynk application as a flood warning to the public.

Abstract

Pesticides are materials to kill pests and diseases in plants. Pesticides are chemicals that are commonly used in agriculture, to kill pests and diseases that exist in agricultural crops. Based on the problems that exist in the community, researchers are trying to help the community to be able to identify the right type of pesticide for the plants that are being planted. Artificial intelligence is transferring the intelligence possessed by humans into a computer machine so that it is able to behave which is considered as intelligent as human abilities. An expert system is a branch of artificial intelligence that transfers the expertise of an expert into a system so that it can imitate the way of thinking of an expert in solving a problem. This expert system application produces output in the form of the best value for selecting the right pesticide based on the criteria inputted by the user and produces conclusions in the form of the best pesticide decision results based on the results of system analysis. The method used in this expert system is the weighted product method which was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database.

Abstract

Balinese dance is a type of dance originating from Bali that has existed for a long time and has been passed down from generation to generation by Balinese people. Balinese dance has 3 kinds of categories, namely Wali Dance (sacred), Bebali Dance and Balih-Balihan Dance (Profane). Balinese dances that are sacred are usually performed on certain days or during religious ceremonies, while profane dances are usually performed for entertainment. In Bali, many types of Balinese dances are contested, such as Barong Dance, Jauk Manis Dance, Jauk Keras Dance, Baris Dance and so on. In this study, the design and development of a Balinese dance competition assessment application was carried out which aims to facilitate the performance of the competition organizing committee and the judges during the assessment and recording of the participants' scores after the competition is held and can display the values transparently to the public. Tests show that when the application is run, it gets a value of 312.3999996185303 on the application and a value of 312.4 in the manual assessment process. The dance assessment application and manual assessment have almost the same value with a percentage accuracy of 99.9%.
