<![CDATA[Glaucoma is a disease that the patient experiences for life. Patients need self-care management to undergo a lifelong treatment process and prevent blindness. Self-care management in glaucoma patients can encourage patients to take prevention and treatment that requires collaboration with health workers so that they can manage their health independently. This study purposed to determine the effect of video education towards self-care management on glaucoma patients in the Eye Clinic of RSD Mangusada, Badung Regency. The method used in this study is a pre-experimental research design with pre-test and post-test one-group design. The samples were 44 respondents with a consecutive sampling technique. Data were collected by using a self-care management questionnaire on glaucoma patients. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study before education through video was implemented, most of the self-care management were moderate as many as 22 people (50%), there was an increase after being implemented education through video, most of the good self-care management were 30 people (68.2%). Analysis of the effect of education via video on self-care management in glaucoma patients obtained p-value <0.001. There is an effect of education via video towards self-care management on glaucoma patients in the Eye Clinic of RSD Mangusada, Badung Regency. The recommendations of this study are expected to be input for nurses to always provide education about self-care for glaucoma patients to prevent blindness.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: Disorders of the shape and function of the thyroid cause clinical symptoms and physiological disorders, namely cognitive function, behavioral problems, changes in feelings (mood) and anxiety. Thyroid sufferer's anxiety will increase before thyroidectomy surgery. Family support in preoperative thyroidectomy will be more effective if it comes from a close person who has meaning in an individual's life, who is able to solve problems and reduce anxiety from problems. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and anxiety levels of preoperative thyroidectomy patients in the surgical clinic of RSD Mangusada, Badung Regency. Method: The study was conducted with an analytic observational design with a cross sectional approach. The number of samples was 58 respondents using an accidental sampling technique. Data were collected using a family support questionnaire and an anxiety questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Spearman`s rho test. Method: The result of the study was that most family support was enough as many as 32 people with a percentage of 55.2%. and the most mild anxiety as many as 40 people with a percentage of 69%. Analysis of the relationship between family support and anxiety levels obtained p value <0.001. Conclusion: There is a relationship between family support and the anxiety level of preoperative thyroidectomy patients at the RSD Mangusada Surgery clinic, Badung Regency. The recommendations of this study are expected to be input for nurses to always provide counseling to families by providing motivation to patients who will perform surgery.]]>

<![CDATA[In the implementation of anesthesia especially general anesthesia, The adequacy of oxygen in the blood is absolutely necessary, the presence of obstructions can affect oxygen saturation is very need to be considered. The phenomenon that often occurs in smoking patients is partial or total airway obstruction because of mucus hypersecretion which if not handled properly can cause hypoxia. This study aims to determine the relationship between smoker status and oxygen saturation values after general anesthesia in the operating room installation at RSD Mangusada Badung in 2020. This type of research is quantitative with observational methods and cross sectional design, The sample in this study were all post-general anesthesia patients in the operating room installation of RSD Mangusada Badung according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria selected by purposive sampling as many as 44 respondents. The study was conducted for 1 month. The results obtained by most of the post general anesthesia patients were included in the moderate smoking category, namely 17 (38.6%) respondents and the mean value of oxygen saturation in post-general anesthesia patients in the Operating Room Installation at RSD Mangusada Badung was 98.14% Data were analyzed by the nonparametric spearman rank test at the significance level α 0.05, p values were 0.000 <0.05. This shows that there is a significant relationship between smoking status and oxygen saturation values in post-general anesthesia patients at the Operation Room Installation of RSD Mangusada Badung. <![CDATA[Background:The severity of Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS) in Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) patients in the form of increased urinary frequency, nocturia, urinary incontinence, slow urine flow, interrupted urine flow, or dissatisfied sensation after urinating which will directly affect the quality of life. The decreased in the Quality of Life is caused by disturbance of their physical and physicological activity. Objective: This study purposed to determine the correlation between LUTS symptoms and the quality of life of BPH patients at the Urology Clinic of RSD Mangusada Badung. Method: This research used an analytic observational design with the cross sectional approach. Several samples were 52 respondents using the incidental sampling technique were then collected using the IPSS questionnaire and the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Spearman`s rho test. Result: The results showed that most of the symptoms of LUTS were in the moderate category as many as 31 people with a percentage of 59.6% and the results of the measurement of most respondents that the quality of life was sufficient as many as 26 people with a percentage of 50%. Analysis of the correlation between LUTS symptoms and the quality of life of BPH patients obtained p-value <0.001. Conclusion: There is a correlation between LUTS symptoms and the quality of life of BPH patients at the Urology Clinic at RSD Mangusada Badung. <![CDATA[Covid-19 pandemic has affected all aspects of human life globally, including aspects of education. The policy to minimize the spread of Covid-19 has an impact on the implementation of online learning policies to replace face-to-face learning in the classroom. The changes that occur produce distinguish experiences from previously. The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of students in the academic stage of the Ners education study program while participating in online learning in the academic year of 2019/2020 and odd 2020/2021 at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Advent Indonesia.. This study utilized a qualitative research design with a descriptive phenomenology approach. Through in-depth interviews using semi-structured questions to 8 students from different education levels in collecting data. The data analyzed in an organized manner to obtain positive and negative experience categories. The positive experience category has 7 sub categories and negative experience has 8 sub categories. Online learning experiences provide an overview of increasing the effectiveness of online learning to produce professional nurses.]]>

<![CDATA[Clinical teaching effectiveness has been a topic of interest in nursing education over the last few decades. An effective clinical teaching guided by clinical instructors intends to create high, updated core clinical competencies and link them with theoretical knowledge of nursing students. Clinical instructors, thus, are seen as one of the key parts in nursing education. This study aimed to expand the most recent integrative literature review on the topic of the most valued characteristic of clinical instructors perceived by nursing students which was conducted by Angela Dawn Collier in 2017. Similar with hers, an integrative literature review was also employed in this study. 13 related literature published from 2018 up to February 2021 were integrated reviewed and synthesized. It was found that personality trait was the most valued characteristic of nursing clinical instructors. This finding also means that knowing their instructor have good personality was the highest expectation of the students. A scientific implication of this finding is that more studies are always needed to reconceptualize or expand this topic. Practically, well-defined expectations of nursing students in clinical settings should always be explored.]]>

<![CDATA[Penularan virus Covid-19 yang sangat cepat menyebabkan bertambahnya jumlah kasus setiap harinya yang terkonfirmasi. Virus Covid-19 menyebar melalui percikan dorplet saat batuk ataupun bersin, pencegahan penularan virus Covid-19 bisa dilakukan dengan menggunakan masker saat berada diluar rumah, mencuci tangan menggunakan sabun, menggunkan hand sanitizer setelah menyentuh benda di tempat – tempat umum. Penerapan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) dimasa pandemi juga sangat dianjurkan guna memutus rantai penularan dari virus tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) dalam pencegahan penularan Covid-19 pada dosen di STIKes Ngudia Husada Madura. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan dengan desain deskriptif analitik. Tehnik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Dalam pengambilan data, peneliti tidak terjun secara langsung, dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang dapat diakses secara online (google form) sebanyak 25 item pertanyaan tentang perilaku pencegahan Covid-19. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar dosen STIKes Ngudia Husada Madura sudah menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Perilaku pencegahan terhadap penularan Covid-19 kategori sangat tinggi (92%), kategori tinggi (8%).]]>

<![CDATA[The role of parents is the acceptance of the child's condition and provides participation in care.The form of participation is that parents are expected to live with children, behave well and be involved in care. Based on the results of the preliminary study found that 4 parents had a good role in child care at the hospital, and 5 parents had sufficient roles in child care at the hospital, while 1 parent had a lack role in child care in the hospital.The purpose of the study is to analyze the relationship between the role of nurses in the application of Family Centered Care (Empowering and Enabling) and the role of parents in caring for children who are sick aged 4-6 years at the hospital.The research design used was analytical, namely with a cross sectional approach. The independent variable in this study was the role of nurses in Empowering and Enabling (Family Centered Care) and the dependent variable in this study was the role of parents in the care of sick children.The total population were 80 respondents and the sample size were 67 respondents. The technique of taking used simple random sampling, the instrument used was a questionnaire and the statistical test used was Spearman Rank with a significance value of α 0.05.This research as been carried out ethical clearance test by the KEPK Ngudia Husada Madura. The results of the 67 respondents found the role of nurses with the role of parents has a value of p value of 0.030 <0.05, with a value of r = 0.266 so H1 wasaccepted there was a relationship between the two variables. The results of this study are expected to be more maximal role of nurses in enabling parents in the process of caring for their children while being hospitalized so that the impact on the role of parents in caring for their children during hospital]]>

<![CDATA[Ancaman penyalahgunaan narkotika dan obat-obatan terlarang (NARKOBA) atau NAPZA (Narkotika, Psikotropika, dan Zat Adiktif) sudah menjadi fenomena global dan merupakan ancaman kemanusiaan (human threat) bagi warga pada tingkat global, regional, nasional dan lokal. Penyalahgunaan narkoba dikalangan generasi muda kian meningkat.Maraknya penyimpangan perilaku ini dapat membahayakan keberlangsungan hidup bangsa di kemudian hari.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuandan sikap mahasiswaUniversitas HaluOleo dengan upaya pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkotika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah anggota inti BEM dari 16 fakultas Universitas Halu Oleo sebanyak 64 mahasiswa dengan penentuan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Datatingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan upaya pencegahan didapatkan melaui pengisian kuisioner. Analisis data dengan menggunakan fisher’s exact test untuk melihat hubungan antara variabel (Pvalue < 0,05).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai uji statistik pada tingkat signifikan diperoleh hasil ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan upaya pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkotika (Pvalue = 0,001) dan ada hubungan sikap dengan upaya pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkotika (Pvalue = 0,017) pada mahasiswa Universitas Halu Oleo pada tahun 2019.]]>

<![CDATA[TuberculosisisainfetiondiseasecausedbyMycobacteriumtuberculosis. This disease can attack intra-lung and extra-lung. It spreads through the air and droplets such as coughing, sneezing, and direct contact with the sputum of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. The healing of tuberculosis patients is influenced by factors including adherence to taking medication, nutritional status, job, and supervisor of taking medicine. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between medication compliance and nutritional status in the recovery of pulmonary tuberculosis patients in Katobu District Muna Regency. The design of this study is an observational study with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples used in this study was 61 samples according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria selected by the simple proportional stratified random sampling method. The data is processed using Univariate and Bivariateanalysiswith the Chi-Squarestatisticaltest. The results of this study indicate that the variable medication compliance with pvalue=0.002 and r=0,366, the nutritional status variable with pvalue=0.000 and a value of r=0,539, has a relationship in the recovery of pulmonary tuberculosis patients.
